I'd like to add some more genres of my own. Mincecore/shitcore such as Passenger of Shit, Splittercore/Extratone such as m1dlet, etc (although you did have extratone with DJ Mucus, so well done there). The Band, called Einstürzende Neubauten (Translates to ,,Collapsing New Buildings''). Their Music sounds more like Noise and they use Scrap Metal, Glass Panes and Drum Kit Parts for Percussion. And all that combined with the Pain-Sounding Screams and the senseless and Disturbing but very Political Lyrics of the Shouter Blixa Bargeld (Artists Name, his real Name is Hans-Christian Emmerich.)
41:09 it was kinda funny because i didnt know about that band... and i liked that album tbh. Even if i was wasnt was a man who listen this type of music.
Have you heard of Ephel Duath? They are probably the best iteration and maybe even the origin of the Avant Garde Jazz/Metal fusion, and in my opinion, the best. I highly recommend that you listen to their album “Pain Necessary To Know” because not only do you get to hear the jazz influence in their riffs and “breakdowns”(I couldn’t find a better term for it), thanks to the lack of other jazz instrumentation but this specific album goes against a lot of conventions of traditional music to create something that is completely unique to itself.
Thanks for the video, it was very interesting, and probably took a lot of time to make!) Not sure how to ask this without turning it into a dick-measuring contest, but I'm genuinely curious. Where would you subjectively put a few other bands, like Silencer, Skepticism, Shape of Despair (and funeral doom metal in general), Tampax Vortex and early Einstürzende Neubauten (stuff like Steh Auf Berlin)? Also, I can't help but brag - I've actually seen some of your picks live! Sunn O))) + Boris, Portal and Electric Wizard. I think Electric Wizard were the best out of the bunch to listen to live, they really lit up the crowd. You've got a great channel going! Thank you for your work, all of your viewers appreciate it ^^
Good question : I wanted people to anticipate the last very violent part ! And now, I'm testing youtube algorythme on the censorship of some caovers or trigger words of the video ;)
43:10 Isn't Eb.er from Switzerland? Anyway, I'm glad I recognized some stuff in there. Mainly Portal, Venetian Snares and Naked City. Speaking of, wonder if you also enjoy some Boredoms, altough judging from your list you'd probably be more into Hanatarash.
I got lost on Tier 5 but got back on Tier 6 with Venetian Snares, Methwitch, and Emit And then Stalaggh came to remind me of its existence on Tier 7 I'm kinda surprised I recognized Gnaw Their Tongues on Tier 8. I'm surprised Igorrr was on tier 4 though tbh, I thought they would be higher. But tbf, their earlier stuff are more worty of tier 4 status. I hate that I know of Peter Sotos work now but that's only my own fault
Yeah I know it can be strange, but it was pretty unknown compared to other thrash bands. It went down the iceberg for this more than the "strange side" of the music.
40:05 tf is going on in England?! Edit: I didn’t read the background of this album. 1:40 I’d like it if it weren’t for the album cover… 4:34 underrated asf 5:50 if we separate art from the artist. Even bubbles… that just leaves me one question. Who tf named this song?
Yes that is actually correct but it's a subgenre of speedcore. Honestly with how anti music splittercore/extratone and beyond is, it's easy to confuse it as noise music
@@Tetrra that's because the likes of Kobaryo or Camellia don't just do speedcore but many other genres including Happy Hardcore, Eurobeat, j-pop, breakcore among the many influences and sounds in their music. But yeah we can just call DJ Mucus Extratone if we wanna be more accurate
True ! But BMSS sounds great and doesn't sound that disturbing and Lorna shore is just overhyped currently, so not that "obscure enough" to be lower in the iceberg !

What
Have you heard of Ephel Duath?
They are probably the best iteration and maybe even the origin of the Avant Garde Jazz/Metal fusion, and in my opinion, the best.
I highly recommend that you listen to their album “Pain Necessary To Know” because not only do you get to hear the jazz influence in their riffs and “breakdowns”(I couldn’t find a better term for it), thanks to the lack of other jazz instrumentation but this specific album goes against a lot of conventions of traditional music to create something that is completely unique to itself.
18:22 OMGGG I LOVE THAT BAND
Hijokaiden is what I imagine the DND spell Dissonant Whispers sounds like
how is taylor swift not in the bottom of this iceberg???
Shes too underground
Thanks for the video, it was very interesting, and probably took a lot of time to make!)
Not sure how to ask this without turning it into a dick-measuring contest, but I'm genuinely curious.
Thank you for your work, all of your viewers appreciate it ^^
I feel this video was the definition of fate.
Thank you so much
Nice iceberg. Just curious about the logic behind releasing it in two parts and then again as one video?!
Good question : I wanted people to anticipate the last very violent part ! And now, I'm testing youtube algorythme on the censorship of some caovers or trigger words of the video ;)
@gabrieldevosful I'm kind of surprised you aren't banned because of your more disturbing videos
Dope !
36:19 a what asylum
Typo Asylum :D (it was "mental")
41:54 my favorite genres begin
Actually?
i genuinely like a lot of these too
@@bloodlessangel other than gnaw their tongues. I don’t like any of these
A playlist would be cool.
those caretaker albums were cool and unsettling. Nice video
im a huge caretaker fan, agreed
First time I heard of Christian gore noise. Interesting.
Wooooo! That’s a ride!
He's now from Japan apparently 😅
wait, THE NOISE FROM PIZZA TOWER HAS HIS OWN GENRE!?!?!?(i thought it would be a funny joke :3) 45:01 oh god.
Welcome to extratone music lol
Any way we can get a list of each entry?
I got lost on Tier 5 but got back on Tier 6 with Venetian Snares, Methwitch, and Emit
And then Stalaggh came to remind me of its existence on Tier 7
I'm kinda surprised I recognized Gnaw Their Tongues on Tier 8.
I'm surprised Igorrr was on tier 4 though tbh, I thought they would be higher. But tbf, their earlier stuff are more worty of tier 4 status.
I hate that I know of Peter Sotos work now but that's only my own fault
Интересный путь по айсбергу, где всевозможные треки, становятся всё безумнее и безумнее
Вот кстати, Nyogthaeblisz я бы поставил в ровень с Tetragrammacide.
Great job *\0/*
Watchtower being so down the list is weird
Yeah I know it can be strange, but it was pretty unknown compared to other thrash bands. It went down the iceberg for this more than the "strange side" of the music.
40:05 tf is going on in England?!
Edit: I didn’t read the background of this album.
1:40 I’d like it if it weren’t for the album cover…
4:34 underrated asf
5:50 if we separate art from the artist. Burzum is one of my favorite bands.
7:29 not only is that band name long asf, but it’s also messed up
Damn.
WHY WAS EATEOT SO FAR DOWN?!
9:45 ¿que pasa?
15:31 I felt the title. But odd…
23:12 I like the first part. And then the singer starts trying to hit high notes. And they sound stupid…
23:30 is actually a pretty song. Sad though
43:52 the album cover is literal Taco Bell
44:14 how Taylor Swift fans think of AC/DC
45:01 is this even music? I guess it’s cool. But damn
45:43 everyone can sing. Even bubbles… that just leaves me one question. Who tf named this song?
Like.
45:43 im dead man
Even more dead then dead
The wierd and scary thing is, we can't recall or know every single music album because their in random countries with no knowledge americans bring up💀
wouldnt 45:10 be extratone?
Yes that is actually correct but it's a subgenre of speedcore. Honestly with how anti music splittercore/extratone and beyond is, it's easy to confuse it as noise music
@@Kain_R_Heinlein but you cant confuse music like this with artists like Kobaryo, so the speedcore label is kind of annoying
7:36 Prayer for cleaning is Melodic Metalcore and proto metalcore is rorschach!
Piss drawer gate keeping. Dude, there is 200 entry in this list and you just react on one band genre, which is in actually debatable.
Where is bakbakwalanoskiwae ?
I think i've mentionned them in one of my "Mr.Incredible" videos. The Iceberg is subjectice not meant to be exhaustive.
31:25 Why Does That Exist?
the term "christian gorenoise" is a joke
@@Tetrra thank god
31:25 "Christian" lol
Ptn y'a un son de feldup
"Top of the iceberg: neo-nazis and Lorna Shore"
This guy spends too much time on the internet.
True ! But BMSS sounds great and doesn't sound that disturbing and Lorna shore is just overhyped currently, so not that "obscure enough" to be lower in the iceberg !
Prowler in the yard? :(
?
lmao who finds Wormrot disturbing?
I guess you don't big champ
You forgot “tongue removal”
No ?
Or he simply didn't wanna put them? Lol, this isn't an eternally long list that many other bands can belong to
@@Kain_R_Heinlein Thank you ! And I'm sure he actually found tongue removal in another video on my channel...
guy chill lmao
@@heresyy53I'm chill here 😂
All of these icebergs just put slightly obscure extreme metal/noise music at the bottom rather than anything actually interesting smh
