I joined the community in 2018-2019 by accident when me and my little sister were watching youtube as a classic ''singing battle girls vs boys'' pop up and we decide to see what it was.We ended up liking it and watching more gacha videos.I remember my favorite gacha youtuber was ItzmehCrystalSnow or something like that.I love how back then everything was easy and we werent hated or bulllied for being ''gacha'' kids...

Honestly to me gacha Heat was more popular in 2019 or 2018. It was usually something like “this character is in a all (gender) school” and sometimes would turn up sexual. Back then I used to find a lot of gacha heat. Now when I look for gacha heat to report they’re all just trolls. And if you click on them all you get is “lol you thought? You need Jesus.” (I have nothing against trolls. I’m just saying there’s more trolls than actual heat). Gacha heat is still fairly popular on PicsArt, tiktok, and google images. But I haven’t seen a actual gacha heat on youtube in a long time. (Which is a good thing)
This brings me nostalgia and also sadness since the whole gacha community is just so different, gacha heat, all kinds of things and I feel like the og gacha community ended when songs like these weren’t popular anymore :(
I’ve been watching gacha for about 3 to 4 years now and I haven’t heard these songs in what feels like forever, it’s nice to know I’m not the only one who still watched gacha for this long.
i remember some vids of EVERY of these. Darkside : with the lovers angels and devils, devils dont fly : They send an innocent angel to hell and say that they cant fly. born without a heart : Someone going through tough life and gets accused to be heartless.
1. Sit still look pretty The storyline I saw most often : Someone was forced into modelling typically by a uh mentally abusive mother, eventually the model stood up for herself saying that she doesn't want to model, she removes all of her what can i say uh 'preppy and girly?' clothes and puts on more comfortable clothes, they also find love somewhere in the story. 2. Born without a heart The storyline I saw most often : I saw the edgy demon wolf alpha girl in these stories. The story just went along with the lyrics. There's the preppy girly popular girl and is always saying that the edgy demon is heartless and rude and then the edgy demon wolf alpha says that she wasn't and it either flashes to how the popular girl used to bully her and or something traumatic that happened. I don't think this one was that old. 3. Ciao adios The storyline I saw most often : I typically either saw a the edgy demon wolf, cute cookie girl and or just a normal girl in these stories. It just follows the lyrics. The girl/or boy I saw girls more often suspects their partner of cheating because of their absents. The main character in that story eventually sees it for herself and breaks up with the cheater. She either becomes independent ( didn't happen a lot but I saw a few LOL ) or moves on with another person ( usually the alpha bad boy who is only a softie to the girl BUT AHEM WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT ). I only saw the main character get a glow up in a few so I won't count it. The cheater sees that they have moved on, and either gets jealous or angry and tries to win the main character back and then she says ciao adios I'm done and kisses her new boyfriend. 4. Darkside The storyline I saw most often : This is where the stereotypes come in LOL, EVERYONE wanted to be a demon in this story haha. Basically an angel who doesn't feel accepted in the angelic realm likes to go to the border that separates the demonic realm from the angelic realm, they typically go there so they can talk to someone they have an interest in that is in the demonic realm. The story goes two ways, the first one goes like this. During the first chorus, the angel is seen talking to the person on the demonic side but is caught but the main characters sibling (typically a girl), the sibling fancies the person in the demonic realm but can tell that that person likes the main character. This causes the sibling to get angry and rat the main character out and this causes them to get in trouble, eventually the main character is able to enter the demonic realm and either turns into a hybrid and that causes the parents to be amazed and the sibling to be jealous, or the story is mainly just about the parents and the angel, no sibling. 5. Hoodie The storyline I saw most often : Usually saw cookie girls in these stories. Either one, something happens to the main characters partner, the partner has left outside the country or the partner had cheated. The main character is mentioning how they kept the partners hoodie, etc. If something happened to the partner, then the main character moves on, or the partner ended up to be alive or something. If the partner left the country, then the partner comes back and they both reunite, if the partner cheated the the main character moves on. 6. Karma The storyline I saw most often : Typically saw the edgy wolf alpha demon girl stereotype in these music videos. The edgy wolf girl figures out her partner is cheating OR she wants to get revenge on the popular girl who bullied her, it just shows how she was angry then eventually got revenge cause she's cool alpha baddie wolf hybrid girl. >:) 7. Rabbit hole The storyline I saw most often : Typically the edgy wolf alpha demon girl or the the cookie girl with a mask on or has like an evil side. They're just getting revenge on whoever hurt them lol. 8. Devils don't fly The storyline I saw most often : A devil is being bullied by a bunch of angels but they eventually stand up for themselves and like shows how the devil is a lot more powerful then the angels when in a situation where they need to save the angel (or devil) friend. 9. Savage The storyline I saw most often : The devil alpha edgy girl was seen here most often LOL. Basically, a cheater and or player is trying to like hit on the devil alpha girl and the alpha girl is like saying how she isn't a sell out, or playing hard to get etc etc. 10. Love the way you lie The storyline I saw most often : The main character is in a toxic relationship where the partner is often away, cheating etc. The main character puts up with this and says 'I love the way you lie'. In the end, they either work things out or the main character moves on with someone else.

I used to be so happy getting into the gacha community but once we hit 2020 I don't know why but everything went downhill. The songs are so great and I'm so grateful that I got to do in this community when it wasn't toxic and when everyone was happy and we didn't get called gacha kids get every 20 seconds I just want to say I'm so glad that I got to be in the community when it wasn't toxic. Gacha has helped me so much when I was struggling in life and needed some help and I feel so bad for any new people joining the community

1. Sit still look pretty
The storyline I saw most often : Someone was forced into modelling typically by a uh mentally abusive mother, eventually the model stood up for herself saying that she doesn't want to model, she removes all of her what can i say uh 'preppy and girly?' clothes and puts on more comfortable clothes, they also find love somewhere in the story.
2. Born without a heart
The storyline I saw most often : I saw the edgy demon wolf alpha girl in these stories. The story just went along with the lyrics. There's the preppy girly popular girl and is always saying that the edgy demon is heartless and rude and then the edgy demon wolf alpha says that she wasn't and it either flashes to how the popular girl used to bully her and or something traumatic that happened. I don't think this one was that old.
3. Ciao adios
The storyline I saw most often : I typically either saw a the edgy demon wolf, cute cookie girl and or just a normal girl in these stories. It just follows the lyrics. The girl/or boy I saw girls more often suspects their partner of cheating because of their absents. The main character in that story eventually sees it for herself and breaks up with the cheater. She either becomes independent ( didn't happen a lot but I saw a few LOL ) or moves on with another person ( usually the alpha bad boy who is only a softie to the girl BUT AHEM WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT ). I only saw the main character get a glow up in a few so I won't count it. The cheater sees that they have moved on, and either gets jealous or angry and tries to win the main character back and then she says ciao adios I'm done and kisses her new boyfriend.
4. Darkside
The storyline I saw most often : This is where the stereotypes come in LOL, EVERYONE wanted to be a demon in this story haha. Basically an angel who doesn't feel accepted in the angelic realm likes to go to the border that separates the demonic realm from the angelic realm, they typically go there so they can talk to someone they have an interest in that is in the demonic realm. The story goes two ways, the first one goes like this. During the first chorus, the angel is seen talking to the person on the demonic side but is caught but the main characters sibling (typically a girl), the sibling fancies the person in the demonic realm but can tell that that person likes the main character. This causes the sibling to get angry and rat the main character out and this causes them to get in trouble, eventually the main character is able to enter the demonic realm and either turns into a hybrid and that causes the parents to be amazed and the sibling to be jealous, or the story is mainly just about the parents and the angel, no sibling.
5. Hoodie
The storyline I saw most often : Usually saw cookie girls in these stories. Either one, something happens to the main characters partner, the partner has left outside the country or the partner had cheated. The main character is mentioning how they kept the partners hoodie, etc. If something happened to the partner, then the main character moves on, or the partner ended up to be alive or something. If the partner left the country, then the partner comes back and they both reunite, if the partner cheated the the main character moves on.
6. Karma
The storyline I saw most often : Typically saw the edgy wolf alpha demon girl stereotype in these music videos. The edgy wolf girl figures out her partner is cheating OR she wants to get revenge on the popular girl who bullied her, it just shows how she was angry then eventually got revenge cause she's cool alpha baddie wolf hybrid girl. >:)
7. Rabbit hole
The storyline I saw most often : Typically the edgy wolf alpha demon girl or the the cookie girl with a mask on or has like an evil side. They're just getting revenge on whoever hurt them lol.
8. Devils don't fly
The storyline I saw most often : A devil is being bullied by a bunch of angels but they eventually stand up for themselves and like shows how the devil is a lot more powerful then the angels when in a situation where they need to save the angel (or devil) friend.
9. Savage
The storyline I saw most often : The devil alpha edgy girl was seen here most often LOL. Basically, a cheater and or player is trying to like hit on the devil alpha girl and the alpha girl is like saying how she isn't a sell out, or playing hard to get etc etc.
10. Love the way you lie
The storyline I saw most often : The main character is in a toxic relationship where the partner is often away, cheating etc. The main character puts up with this and says 'I love the way you lie'. In the end, they either work things out or the main character moves on with someone else.

Hiiiiii I know alll of these songs. Here they are and a bit of info about them. Also, keep in mind that I have been watching gacha videos since 2016 soo yeah)
The 1st one is: Sit still look pretty. People made a lot of music videos back in the day when gl didn't exist and people used either gv or gacha studio)
The 2nd one is: Born without a heart. It was a popular trend to make a glmv where the main lead was a girl who has gone through a lot so she's cold and seen as heartless
The 3rd one is Ciao Adios. It was also a popular glmv). People still use it but it's not some big thing anymore.
The 4th one is Darksideeeee. Omg, I remember everyone making a glmv with this song and it was literally just a girl who was an angel and a boy who was a demon (or the other way around but you wouldn't see it as often). And their parents who didn't want them to be togetherrrrrr. Then the angel would cross the border to the "Darkside" and then the angel would either get dark angel wings or would turn into a demonnnnn. That isn't all but I ain't about to explain a whole trend of glmvs to you. Also, every OG will remember EXACTLY which bg everyoneeeeee and I mean EVERYONE used for this glmv.
The 5th one is: Hoodie. Also a VERY VERY popular trend. Just search it you will see what I mean).

I used to be so happy getting into the gacha community but once we hit 2020 I don't know why but everything went downhill. The songs are so great and I'm so grateful that I got to do in this community when it wasn't toxic and when everyone was happy and we didn't get called gacha kids get every 20 seconds I just want to say I'm so glad that I got to be in the community when it wasn't toxic. Gacha has helped me so much when I was struggling in life and needed some help and I feel so bad for any new people joining the community

I think I started out with Gacha Studio then moved to Gachaverse when the game got more detailed in making characters, then Gacha Life came out (was out for about 3-4 years before Gacha Club). The Gacha community has changed so much.
