Nah man jlc is levels above zenith although zenith is great. They have no gyrorourbillon, they have nothing even similar to a reverso grande complication. Jlc is no joke man its not in the same tier as zenith

@@Walem_BJlc used to be the watch maker of watch maker but now they are being stunted by richemont being put beneath iwc and Vacheron in the richemont hierarchy, zenith is no joke. They supplied Rolex with the movement for the first Daytona refs. Zenith is most certainly in the same league/ level as jlc and this is coming from a guy who favours jlc. They are equals more or less.
So the Daytona with the zenith movement is OK but a Zenith chronograph that has a Hublot clasp is offensive…so confusing lol

I thought Nico’s hatred of Hublot was overblown, but I have to admit: I have yet to find a Hublot that I like.
Subjectivity of design and perceived value is totally fair and valid. If you dont like it, you dont like it. I just wish him and his sycophantic army would 1) be fair and 2) be consistent. Like somehow, hes convinced everyone that hublot is "trash" because they used [they have in house now....] ETA movements... but why does IWC, Patek and Omega not get blasted? They use the literal exact same caliber eta thats in the hublots lol. Just a dolled up ETA. [Patek used that eta on their entry level pieces.... which were always more expensive than hublot].
I think the fact people cant appreciate or dislike things based on their own merits without half of social media aggressively attacking it is pretty disgusting.

I'll stick with my $20 digital Casios for everyday beater watches. And my $150 Seiko automatic or Bulova for around the same price as a dress watch/nice watch. The ONLY way I would pay more is if it was precious metal or something that made it literally worth its weight

I dislike Hublot simply because it’s like the Invicta of the watch world. Big, gaudy, odd pricing practices, and all brand name. Zenith on the other hand has heritage, original design, and in house construction.

Hublot only uses ETA in Classic Fusion and old school Big Bang (though there a heavily modified one). Everything else is in house movements (Unico in the new Big Bang etc.) or Zenith movement in the Big Bang 3 hands watches and the Spirit of Big Bang… even by 2016, 25 of 35 movements used by Hublot were already in house. I dont like the classic fusion too but apart from that the whole Hublot hate is unjustified

Nico claims his issue with Hublot is the shitty movements that they up charge for, well now he's comparing them to Zenith who are famous throughout the industry for their in house movements. I actually owned this Zenith in white and i got rid of it because the clasp is designed so that the underside of it slashes into your wrists. Super uncomfortable even when its on loose and ofc you cant switch it out because the lugs on this piece are nonexistant. The other negative would be the nonlegibilty, you cant read time for shit on that thing, never understood why they dont make the hands of opposite colors on these skellies. Also, Nico is a clown, probably cant make a profit on zenith, so he bashes it.
