Entrance Design for a UK Tropical Garden

I had a neglected area of blue slate, situated just outside the back doors leading to the patio area before the main garden. The dog repeatedly dug holes in this area, prompting me to transform it by incorporating more structure and color. As a result, the dog no longer digs in this spot, and my garden now begins as soon as I open the back door. I intend to further develop this area with the goal of creating a lush, jungle-like environment that envelops me when I step outside.
