- UniFi WiFi Private Pre-Shared Keys is one of those features that really does make a big impact. For commercial deployments, this feature really is a sort of a game changer in WiFi deployments.
The UniFi WiFi Private Pre-Shared Keys feature changes something we as network admins are so use to do that it has become part of our network deployment planning. We are use to plan ahead and create several WiFi SSID's for each use on the network. an SSID for guests, an SSID for IOT devices etc. Not anymore.
The new UniFi WiFi Private Pre-Shared Keys feature allows us to create just a single WiFi SSID and then still achieve this diversion of clients to different Vlans by using different passwords. So, instead of an SSID for guests - a password for guests. All under a single roof, a single WiFi SSID.
I have been waiting a long time for this WiFi Private Pre-Shared Keys feature to come to UniFi and i myself am planning to use it, once it has matured enough in several UniFI deployments i manage.
This feature, UniFi WiFi Private Pre-Shared Keys, at the time of this recording is still in release candidate and it does have some quirks and strange unexpected behaviors from time to time but i am sure this feature is going be just fine once its released.

How would you transition from multiple SSIDs now to a single SSID when you create it on the unifi?
Is there anyway to still have a speed limit for the different networks? Also, is there still a way to have MAC address filtering for the different networks?
