I feel like 2017X wouldn’t even try to deceive blaze and go straight for the kill since she probably would see right through his facade unlike others like tails and cream
except canon tails would absolutely put the pieces of information together. Dead animals everywhere, back facing sonic, thus not seeing the front. let’s not forget that tails is a genius. and if it’s off-canon, well blaze would be able to be tricked either way

He doesn't even really try to decieve the characters because he doesn't need to, they already know, he tries decieving the player instead
Altho this would probably be different in Raven's new story where he is so delusional to the point of thinking he's the actual Sonic
I think 2017 X would ACTUALLY say that Blaze is the liar and the problem and keep up his delusion that he is Sonic, and since Blaze thinks otherwise she needs to be erased permanently.

I think it’s cause unlike in subterfuge and any other songs like perdify, 2017 knows he’s gonna win, but here, he’s uncertain of victory, since blaze is a worthy adversary to real sonic, might even surpass real sonic in strength, and i think this time if the song does get finished (cause it does sound like it’s unfinished) 2017 is not gonna transform to traumatise blaze, but in a panic of actually loosing against her

Yeah, he’s kinda giving her a “hold on, this girl is kinda strong actually 😳” look instead of “I’m gonna kick you to death 💀” look he’s giving Tails and Cream in Perdify and Subterfuge
Blaze should be able to stand some what of a chance considering her moveset, but if regular sonic could beat her, 2017 probably will win

What do I remember, Blaze in Sonic Rush is only defeated by Sonic if the player is playing as sonic. If the player is playing as blaze, Blaze defeat Sonic. In other words, Blaze really has a chance of beating Sonic, just as Sonic has a chance of beating Blaze
i mean, sonic didn’t really beat her. it’s probably a tie considering both stories have endings where they beat the other. so i think she has a better chance than you think!

I am considering every 2017X song canon. He reveals himself in subterfuge and tails narrowly escapes.
In petrified, he chases cream around the burnt city until he slays her.
In Artifice, he tries to take the Sol Emeralds to power his hellish abilities, but Blaze sees directly through his facade.
After Artifice, he goes to Tails again in Toetality, and as we all know,tails is ready to throw hands to stop 2017X
Also note that 2017x kills Amy In Shattered.

I think people forget that Blaze is her dimension's Sonic. She'd absolutely be able to go Toe-to-Toe (pun intended) with 2017x
