Hey all, I just noticed a resurgence of this song so I’d like to clarify some things for y’all.
1. This is a remix of a MEGALOVANIA track for a *Undertale AU* in which *Sonic was Frisk and Sonic.exe was Chara.*
2. The original song was created by *Atri/Ghist, Lucidis, and Saster (me).*
3. The Friday Night Funkin’ cover of this song *did not ask permission* to use this however they *credited me so don’t worry about that.*

It still awes me of how menacing yet sad this track is by definition. The Hedgehog is facing an inner demon that he cannot escape. @@driprockstarfreddy6441 the come on was the last thing heard in the song, meaning that Sonic is the one having the last word, he's running away the entire time saying "come on" to what it seems to be Sonic mocking Exetior for not being fast enough until the end in which he just decides to put a stop knowing he can't run forever and just fight against himself.

This, kids, is what we call 'cultural appropriation.' This ain't a Friday Night Funkin' Mod song. It's an Undertale AU song. I love both games just as much as the next person but damn, the fate of the true source of this song is just sad. Credit to this video or not, everyone thinks this is an FNF song now and it's painful to watch. Sonic.EXE Megalovanias were some of my favorite megalos from the olden UTAU days.
Though it is kinda poetic how the idea of overusing Genesis.SF2 as an excuse for the YM2612 sound chip and stuffing random Sonic SFX and the Kefka laugh into every beat of a song carried over from Sonic Undertale AUs to Sonic FNF songs. (Though the overuse of the drowning theme/green hill was all FNF.)

In a way this makes my mind put me in a situation where I literally confront me in a time where I was a messed up person and I’d say I’m glad I found this song thank you for this masterpiece
The song itself kind of tells a story and a battle on its own, when 2:13 hits all the sound effects going on in the background is like sonic on his last stand, using all he has to win.

He could not be running away from EXE, but luring him as close as he can to the Master Emerald as possible, we don't know if the Chaos Emeralds work, so closer to the Master Emerald he gets, the better chance he has at winning, per say.
Hyper Sonic cannonically would only be able to run away from him safely but if hyper Sonic fights against exe, he losses
