  • The new wildlife overpass on I-80, just west of Parleys Summit, is now complete! In coordination
with UDWR this overpass, the first in the state designed and built solely for wildlife, will help
improve safety by cutting down on the high number of wildlife-related collisions in the area. In
order to make the crossing as successful as possible, it’s important that the overpass is used by
wildlife only. Check out this video and help us spread the word to #KeepItWild!

This bridge was made in 2018... 😕 Yet I live in Utah and have never heard of it at any point.
Why can't ALL news organizations report stuff like this?!?? 🤦 I don't even like "Now This" (where I happened to first see this a little bit ago) because they've lied a few times, but if all types of news organizations would use even just HALF of their time reporting things that can uplift & restore #FaithInHumanity then we'd not have so many problems of depression, hate, arguing, and general misery. 🙄
I try to #ShareGoodness and tag it as such (or #ShareGoodNews) to make it easier to find, maybe if a person reads my comment they can try to do the same? 🤷🙏😐

I have to say, I thought this was the biggest waste of money when I first saw it, because how would the animals know that they could cross there? It's not like they can read road signs! "Overpass ahead: 1mi"
But after watching the videos showing all the different animals, from a cute chipmunk, a family of deer, a burly black bear, a slow-poky porcupine, and the random meandering moose, I would like to see more of these wildlife overpasses in other states. If there is an old bridge, scheduled for destruction, it could be transformed into one of these pretty easily and inexpensively.
