This Stardew Valley challenge makes the funniest Stardew Valley videos without any funny Stardew Valley mods! Somehow this is the NEW funniest Stardew Valley video / tiktok / short ever! Instead of any other Stardew Valley challenge in Stardew Valley 1.6, this is a Stardew Valley video in Stardew Valley 1.6 in 2024 (almost 2025)!
The goal was to try to inform / speed run / speed runner of Stardew Valley against a killer / assassin but it is me, Stardew Valley from twitch / tiktok / twitter, playing Stardew Valley 1.6 and not Stardew Valley 1.5

I mean, if you don't care about fashion, it doesn't take any real inventory slots. Just put it on your head and use it when one pops up. It's not hard to get the materials to upgrade it, and you can still enchant it if/when you want to.

Lucky rings are found also in skull caverns by breaking crates.
Its a 1/500 chance, whereas you can get a lucky ring very easily with the iridium pan, because luck ring drop chance is HEAVILY affected by day and buff luck. So wait for a star luck day, drink ginger ale and eat rock candy and run around panning, and you have around a 9% chance of getting the lucky ring, compared to around 1/500 chance for skull caverns crates. Even as a skull caverns addict I get lucky rings like once every 20-30 runs, most recent playthrough was in skull caverns in mid spring, and I still didnt get any lucky rings until I unlocked panning lol. Around 50k worth of stuff to get 2-4 luck rings seems extreme but they pay off insanely well.

The panning spots spawn often on the dig site
Use it at the dig site, because of how little watter is there it dpawns paning spots quite frequently
The dig site also has an increased rate of panning spawns because of the archeologist quest. I think 2 per hour guaranteed.

I used the copper pan to get the lucky ring then never again. It has been in a chest for the last 10 in game years.
Actually, you can get the lucky ring from skull cavern crates too. It's just hilariously rare

Panning is fucking cracked now. I have gotten 4 lucky rings from casually panning spots on my farm during my chores. XD So, 100% upgrade the pan. It easily pays itself back with the amount of ore you get from it too.

but I tend to pan 1-15 coal, 3-20 ore and 1-10 gems/day since 1.6 by just casually strolling around with the pan in inventory
The mountain lake and archeology spot on ginger island are great for panning (there is a sound cue of something splashing when a spot spawns)
(And even in 1.5 even if ores and coal were much rarer, you got SO MANY gems)

If you have the foraging perk to see foraging spots. There will also be green arrows pointing to panning spots in the zone. Very helpful and a gold pan is giving me surprising amount for iridium ore atm.
Maybe it's a matter of strategy.
I had incredible results by going to the dig site on ginger island. I don't know if it's overtly coded to work this way, or if it's just because there's only a small area of water to work with in that entire section of the map, but panning spots are super common.
I think they also updated the default reach of the pan, because I can now reach all those spots that were just barely out of the way, and I'm not using a reach enchantment.
I hate the pan. Waste of time. I don’t use it out of spite.
Use it at the digsite on ginger Island and you will change your tune real quick

I use the mod “Auto Grabber Deluxe”, and set it to grab all panning spots.
I end up deleting so many Lucky Rings… but it’s a great way to get Golden Coconuts and Wild Bait on the island.
Whether it’ll be affected by having an upgraded pan, I’ve no clue (still working on checking that)

Your mistake was going around looking for panning spots. The point of the pab is to do stuff as normal and nab a spot when it appears nearby.

if you want multiple pan spots the best place is the dig site on the island, becuase most of the spaces it can spawn at are pretty close. and becuase you can get 5-10 iridium order per panning fairly regularly, i carry it and my hoe around with me 24/7 in case i run into a panning spot anywhere
