playing this in my hs band class rn (this is my first year of band, so its really hard for me and i struggle with consistently hitting notes lol) and its really fun to play. the song in itself is also really beautiful and hearing it live feels magical

Not cause I don't want to or don't have the ability to it's just that my mouth piece won't let me do the pedal tones. Very fun piece tho. Have fun playing it my guy.

I got to play this at SHEP (State Honours Ensemble Program) in Australia and i was the Bass Clarinet
The French Horn, Euphonium and Chimes/Timpani combo makes this an absolute masterpiece.

I took that Solo mid song for my school band as an Alto Saxophone, I have only a few words for this piece, Sorrow yet Majestic
We used to rehearse it in our band I played the alto saxophone but we never performed it, such a pity, it gives me goose bumps, such a masterpiece!

I just received this in Grade 12 wind ensemble this morning (3rd trombone btw) and the amount of low Ds I have to play is insane!!!!!!!!
