- Wanda Maximoff, or the Scarlet Witch, is the daughter of Magneto and sister of Quicksilver. She first appears as a member of the Brotherhood of Mutants in X-men, issue 4. She is one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel universe with the power to alter reality on a grand scale. In the M-Day story arc, she goes so far as to de-power the vast majority of the world's mutants, leaving just over 200 left on Earth. The Scarlet Witch's power was originally limited to the creation of hex-spheres, balls of reality-disrupting force capable of causing molecular disturbances in a target's probability field. This power could result in a variety of effects such as spontaneous combustion, or deflection of objects in flight. It wasn't until later that her powers expanded to alter the nature of reality itself. Despite this great level of power, however, she has only undergone a limited amount of training to control it.

Those were scenes from ppl playing the game during updates, the game came out before wanda was in the mcu but updates obviously add some new things

Scarlet Witch in X-men Legends was so strange. She couldn't fly, and her powers seemed so basic. Just odd to have one of the most powerful comic book characters be portrayed so weakly there.
Her powers in that game were the same from her original, classic storyline in the comics, hex-bolts and probability. She's become a larger character now since that game came out with added powers.
@@heroscrest4098 Well even at the time, I was familiar with Scarlet Witch from the X-men Evolution tv show. So even back then I knew the version of Scarlet Witch in the game was super weak. But I see what you mean.

@@robertodecostasolos9513 Not any character, but any that could fly in the comics and other media. Except for Scarlet Witch I guess. Her attacks were very weak in X-men Legends 2. I was so excited to use her but immediately took her out.
@@robertodecostasolos9513 Jean Grey, Storm, Magneto, Rogue, Sunfire, & Iron Man could fly in X-men Legends 2 so there is no reason why she shouldn’t have been able to as well.

The game started in 2012 but the costume was added for purchase 3 years later, when the movie came out

I think there's an error in the video. At min 2:40 and 3:30, how is it possible that a 2012 and 2013 game shows the design that was only created in 2015 when Avengers: Age of Ultron was released. Before this movie, this outfit and adaptation of Wanda is Mercury did not exist.
