Nightmare deserves a little more (I’m not talking about him being the main Kirby anime villain) he was the first Creepy villain with Spherical form and with a creepy defeat animation and the first enemy Kirby has to defeat with a súper especial weapon

Interesting that Aeon Hero Light is defeated permanently while Aeon Hero Dark is sealed away. Maybe he'll appear in a mainline title one day.
galacta knight gets defeated many times by first flying away and then blowing up into feathers, and then being sealed, this the same Aeon Hero, just two forms, the light hero didn't need to be sealed away, however, his dark more powerful form did because if that ever came back, everyone would be in trouble, which hints that this takes place before super star ultra, its hinted that this is galacta knight's earliest appearance in the timeline, before bearing his new name, galacta knight, hence why he isn't even morpho knight yet, this takes place before everything, before meta knight from another universe summons him using nova, where we were told that he was sealed away for his great power, it was at this point galacta knight reached his peak with his dark form, its hinted even that he was one of the original star allies who sealed away void termina using attacks like the jamba heart spears, so first its aeon hero, then aeon hero (light), then aeon hero again, then aeon hero (dark), then galacta knight for a long ass time, before becoming morpho knight, starting off as a hero in the time of the ancients, to becoming a villain corrupted by darkness and being summoned by every villain since, a trend parallel nightmare started
@@umario251 Good theory. I love how every game builds on Galactia's origin instead of doing it in one go. It helps keep him relevant and lets him associate with other themes without feeling forced.
On a side note I like how the introductions of Parallel characters are being used. Like how D-Mind shows us a possible timeline where Dedede ends up as nothing but a puppet for Dark Matter, a King only in name.
No matter what happens to him, he keeps coming back. Galacta Knight is an immortal, space-time travelling hero.
Whats hilarious is at the end of the dark fight you can see a bit of yellow, meaning this takes place AFTER Star allies

1 of those bosses has not been in a modern game while the other has but it's basically the same fight each time, there's no new classes, no new material, and all music has been remixed very slightly.
These Aeon fights are nothing special.

Well, technically, none of the times galacta knight is summoned are canon (except the times in this video, as super kirby clash is technically canon. It’s also an alternate universe), so said villains actually have no knowledge of the dangers they embark when summoning him

Well, Galacta Knight is less of an actual knight and more of an eldritch abomination destroying everything in his path.
This thing took down VOID. Keep that in mind.
Thing is I think Galacta Knight has a legitimate reason for killing all who summon him, but doesn't casually one shot Kirby (Or Meta Knight)
I'm pretty sure the only reason he is actively insta killing his summoners is that he is aware that if they can summon him, they can just as quick and easily seal him back up. But Kirby and Co.? They didn't summon him and he wants a fight.
wait i have a theory that says this game is included in the kirby timeline:
This is the story from before kirby arrived, where his species was very common and there where tons of them, then the aeon hero after sealing void termina became evil and the team of kirbys species had to save the world, after some time the dream kingdom collapsed, then, dreamland was born. In super star ultra meta knight goes on and summons aeon hero(galacta knight)
and defeats it, the rest is history we already know
I made this teory cause i think super kirby clash (switch) fits well in the start of the timeline, galacta knight is even named aeon here as he was a hero for saving the world from void termina!

Well, galacta knight isn't exactly friendly to his summoners, he only spared Nova (who then was destroyed because of him anyway) and Hyness, but hyness was already dead so t doesn't really count.
Pretty sure no one summons Galacta Knight and lives. Star Dream got sliced in half while Parallel Nightmare got Thanos'd.
The only reason the Galactic Nova survived summoning Galacta Knight was because he got the f*ck outta there before Galacta Knight broke free of his crystal prison.

Don’t forget the Kirby Clash games are probably in an alternate universe to the main series games. Galacta might not even have these powers in the main series games
@@Void_Echoes that is true but wr have seen that all the characters here still have their own lore still attached to it with few exceptions: Landia is still considered a guardian, Sphere Doomers live in another dimension and Galacta Knight still lives with time itself so what we saw here is something he couldn't release because he gets sealed again or gets destroyed

Got to the true ending of story mode, saw the multiplayer challenges that recommended levels 12 higher than i was, said f*** that, i'm looking the rest up.
I was worried that galacta knght actually died at the end of star allies when the butterfly absorbed him, but clearly not. He's been my favourite kirby character since SSU so i'm glad to see he's still kicking. The redesign is subtle but really cool looking too. And the remixes are godly.
We know Galacta and Magolor are connected (by the lor starcutter appearing in his robotbot fight) and clearly now there's a connection to hyness and the void, which means galacta knight connects every final boss together except Queen Sectonia because maglor knows Marx, Dark matter and void are the same thing, darkmind is mirror world dark matter...
I really hope we get a galactaknightmare mode in the next main game, or just some concrete information on what the hell is going on with all these super bosses. We keep thinking the trail with characters like marx or dark matter has run cold, but then this stuff keeps happening.
This series has gotten so complicated over the years and i love it.
we don't need to worry about him being dead i mean in SSU we see him blow up in pieces but he returned in RTD, Planet Robobot and Star Allies no matter what we always can expect him appearing again
Maybe we'll get a game with Morpho Knight as the final boss in the main story, and after the fight Galacta gets the butterfly exorcised outta him and he just faints. In the credits there could be a little slideshow of Kirby trying to nurse him back to health. Then the Galacta sub-game could be about going to find and defeat the butterfly once and for all.

Morpho Knight is presumably a failed fusion of the two, considering it's significantly *weaker* than Galacta Knight, while Aeon Hero Light and Dark are significantly more powerful.

As bad of an attack as it is, whenever i think of galacta knight i always remember the 360 lance beam (remember when he used to summon evil versions of the metaknights in SSU? Whatever happened to that?)

The Redguardowen I’ve looked it up and aeon means a supreme being over others so basically Superior hero, super hero etc.
The Redguardowen also eon means a long period of time so it does contribute for galactic knight being a very powerful and old hero since they locked him up plus he uses some attacks that looked like the 1 s that sealed void termina he could of been 1 of the heroes that helped
I do wonder why exactly he was sealed away. did he do something terrible or was it really just because everyone was scared of his power? We've seen star dream, nova, hyness and now parallel nightmare summon him, (plus his unexplained RTDL appearance if that is canon and not just fanservice) so clearly they didn't do a very good job sealing him away.
I really hope his does turn out to be kirby from a different time/dimension like everyone was theorising back in SSU days. We've seen with void what an "evil" kirby is like so it would make sense if they sealed away the og kirby too.

@@CosmicToad5000 it was indeed that his power was too great considering he can rip through space with ease Nova did tell his background on why he was sealed away. but here we see here that he is a "hero" that likes a challenge but not a fan of constantly getting summoned across time and space(note what he did to Nightmare and Star Dream) and more of his strengths are being revealed

I wish at least the aeon hero(light) was canon because it would actually make galacta knight’s role valid
His role is meta knights rival, aka the strongest knight in the whole entire galaxy. Even though meta knight beats him, Star dream from robobot summons galacta knight and says it’s the strongest being in the universe. They both only fought each other once and meta knight won so shouldn’t that make him the strongest in the galaxy. And Kirby beats meta knight like nothing so shouldn’t Kirby be the strongest in the galaxy.
So If aeon hero(light) existed then it would actually seem like galacta knight is really the strongest. Like if they made galacta knight’s power unrestrained and it transformed into aeon hero light. Also the reason why I didn’t include dark is because dark doesn’t look like galacta knight anymore. Literally everything except the body shape changed.

This would have been a perfect secret final boss in smash bros world of light if you fought the final boss as Kirby, having galacta knight show up and absorb the power of galeem and dharkon and take on the powers of both, and having to fight him for one last battle, shame this didn’t come out before smash ultimate, because if it did I doubt sakurai would pass on the opportunity to give his little pink boi some love.

I’m really glad they fixed Galacta Knight’s size and proportions to resemble his SSU design. He looks so much better with a longer lance and bigger wings.
Yeah his lance in recent games was basically a dagger that defeated the entire point of a lance. They did make him much larger here though, might just be because he needs a big hitbox for this game but there might be more to it.
@@CosmicToad5000 yup, it's entirely possible that GK's size here is arbitrary and he will go back to being the same size as Kirby and MK in his next inevitable appearance. I certainly hope it doesn't come to that, but it very well might. I hope they at least keep his wing proportions nice and large.
What is up with Galacta Knight and his one-shot slashes? If he's so powerful, why not do that to Kirby or Meta Knight?
Because that would make him harder to beat, and Kirby isn't exactly known for it's difficulty
Cuz think about it: 1. it wouldn't really be fair.
2. I'd say galacta knight sees meta knight and kirby as warriors that he has to respect since they've beaten him once. So he wants a fair fight. (Just my headcanon though)

Could be that in past games, when nova/star dream/hyness/whatever happened in RTDL summoned him they didn't actually summon his full power, instead they just summoned a subdued version of him. P Nightmare was somehow able to summon him in his true form or something.
That being said, metaknight better get some fancy new upgrades if we're going to keep their rivalry alive. Maybe start by getting a mask that doesn't break after every fight and get a durable one like galacta over here surviving thousands of years with his intact.

Maybe that might be the reason he was sealed to begin with. Those forms.... he can control both the light and dark. He was sealed for lord only knows how long and the ONLY thing that was able to put him down was galaxia, a Sword crafted by gods.
It's implied that Hyness and his cult sealed Galacta Knight away because he was so destructive and powerful that he used the Heart Spears to take down VOID, an actual god.

On the Aeon Hero (Light) fight, when he does the "tear" attack that opens the other dimension, has anyone noticed a heart floating through in that open area? I've seen it twice now and I'm curious to see if there's any meaning to it. The first time I saw it I thought I was going crazy, but I just now saw it again and didn't react fast enough to try and "get" it.

I kind of want to believe that Aeon Hero is here on good terms since he one-shot Para. Nightmare and he's fighting the Kirby Squad as a challenge alla Meta Knight

I wish Aeon Hero had appeared in Planet Robobot to be honest. With its time-warping powers, Star Dream could have pulled out Galacta Knight at a time he was in full power. The one we actually got was a bit too close from the Return to Dreamland battle.
anybody else think at 24:32 the colors and particle effects of the portal disappearing remind them of Morpho Knight's stuff? does this portal have something to do with that butterfly?

heres something i commented elsewhere, it doesnt all apply here but it explains the most likely confirmed theory
It is canon, aeon hero sealed away void termina (hence why hyness and the mage sisters seal him later), he uses the jamba heart spear attacks in his dark form, he was always the strongest warrior but not strong enough to be a threat to the universe, only when he became dark and much more powerful was he sealed away when weakened, it was at that point he became the strongest ever unsurpassable, it took 4 kirbys to weaken him, hes always resurrected and sealed now, never defeated though, first starting of as a hero sealing away the greatest darkness, even becoming a hero of light, he got corrupted by darkness, and then across the eons became known as galacta knight, having by that point travelled "the galaxy" which in this game implies the universe across all time and dimensions, nightmare took him from his own dimension, so from being the strongest hero, he became the strongest galactic warrior bearing a new name implying this, and finally, when the full circle comes and void is defeated, he becomes morpho knight, bearing 4 forms, varying between light and dark, known as various names across all space and time and dimensions, as the strongest galactic warrior, each time getting stronger and full of darkness, his current state being the one of doom, to bring doomsday/judgement day
He is very much canon and even this simple remake adds to his relevance in the series, his feud with metaknight was simply an introduction, nothing compared to the grandscheme of things

Notice how in the Dark Aeon Hero's Sword Barrage attack (the one right after they unleash their power), instead of using swords like normal Galacta Knight, they use spears. Not just any spears, the spears that destroyed and locked away the Jamba Heart all those years ago. What could this mean?

It means that Galacta Knight (or Aeon Hero as he's called at this point in time) was one of the four original star allies that sealed away Void Termina in the Jamba Heart eons before the events of Kirby's Dreamland
