The apocalyptic crisis has never sounded so soothingly hypnotic, until now.😌 Also, it's so eerie, surreal and kinda chilling how everything is going like normal despite the danger and environment, like there's something wrong but you don't know what it is or can't do anything; it really gives this sense of Dread and paranoia that makes you question what's real.
I sometimes wish that during big run the civilians looked more scared or seing the shops being barricated with planks
Yeah a lot of people hoped for that detail too
Especially with the idols, they just sit there talking like it's a typical day
"Attention! Salmonids have overrun Barnacle and Dime! Please scream and run around in circles!"
The second Big Run actually felt and sounded like a actual war in the Splatoon universe

I have this headcanon that the reason the Squid Sisters aren't panicking or terrified in any way is because after the events of Alterna and thanks to Neo Agent 3's smallfry companion, they're assuming that Lil' Buddy is having some kind of family reunion and just assume it's normal

I have 2 theories:
1. Splatville will be invaded by the Salmonids probably being the Final Big Run
2. Lil Judd in Mr. Grizz's absence is using the golden eggs to either create more Salmonid Kings or maybe something worst
When I first heard this back when big run started, I was stunned. The red sky in inkopolis was what I was expecting, but the ambiance, the fact that you can hear the bosses, as well as the boss alerts going off really made going back to the city, creepy.

Everyone just going about their usual days, hoping and praying that Grizco manages to hold the tides of Salmonids off again this time. Because if they don’t there won’t be another chance.
I’d imagine that normally everyone who participates in turf wars takes up arms against the Salmonids, since they are a threat that literally can be seen from city limits.
There are seven rings in the prophecy. So far we've encountered two King Salmanoids in Salmon run. I get the feeling that there will be seven in total. Smoke rising from the seven rings could refer to the King Salmonoids emerging. There is enough life in Splatoon 3 for seven Big Runs. And once all seven King Salmonoids have appeared then the conditions will be met for the pinkfish to emerge.
@SomeDude WhoDraws93 we don't know. We saw it was referenced in the Sunken scrolls in Splatoon 2. You can see the seven rings in the depiction on the scroll. And for the first Big Run trailer in november we saw flashes of that sunken scroll. And you can actually see the seven rings in the distance on the Big Run version of Wahoo World. They were above an island off the coast. However they don't seem to be fully formed like they were in the trailer. So the emergence of the pinkfish is likely inevitable now. It is already happening as we speak as the salmonoids get further and further into the city. It's just a matter of time
there’s plenty of time for the pink fish to be part of the DLC….. but that might be my wishful thinking
@@Catinasuit3 From the look of things it seems like the Salmonoids probably won't be getting involved in the side order dlc. It makes more sense if they tie in the King Salmonoids with the pink fish. Once smoke rises from all seven rings (the king salmonoids) then the pink fish will emerge.
@SomeDude WhoDraws93 we don't have information on if it ever emerged. The sunken scrolls are brief. However if the legend exists then it's likely happened before. No hint as to what it would look like
@SomeDude WhoDraws93 yes. It might not stay a mystery for long. The seven rings from the sunken scroll appeared off the coast at Wahoo World during the first Big Run. That means the moment may soon be upon us. The first Big Run trailer you could see them clearly. But at during the first Big Rum they didn't seem to be fully formed yet
I love how there's all the sounds of bosses and the warhorns of new waves starting, and then the Great Zapfish is just chilling up there on the tower. He's just having a jolly old time and there are no thoughts behind those eyes.
Never in my life did I think I was actually gonna cry over some squid kids in a game! I remembered participating on the first and our more recent one and hearing the absence more clearly made me realize just how serious this was...for the civilians anyways... I hated losing during the big run because it felt like you were failing to protect the people that put their trust and hope into you to save them and the city...
After the Big Run, I didn't think much of it... kind of like a storm just past and nothing came of it...
But after listening and even sleeping with the ambiance, it made me think if this was a real life scenario, the inklings and octolings (us) would be standing in front or close of were everything is taking place... you can hear everything... the bombs, the stinger, the screams, the last teammates surviving... you as the spectator listen and hope nothing happens to the only heros of this place you call home...
And then Mr. Grizz gets on the speaker announcing that the whole team got eliminated and the Salmonids are on their way to bring havoc to the city...
People are trying to get away, some stay with family and friends, probably trying to survive, or saying their good byes...then the whole town gets flooded with screams, loud bomb noises and smoke everywhere... both inkopolis and splatsville have been cleaned from any living squid or octo... it's not fun, colorful, and amazing anymore... just ruins and the fading echoes of the last survivor that met their demise...
To be honest, I felt bad as it was dying because of potential failure to save the world... but being the spectator and being helpless sounds far worst especially when you see every go to shambles...
This is a kids game for god sake! I shouldn't be thinking that something potentially this bad can happen, because its a guarantee that us, the heroes, will always keep the world safe...
Then again... it would be pretty cool to have an alternative ending or cutscenes like octo expansion with the whole city getting splatted...
The salmonids in the sewers: GOD ******* BOB WHERE THE ******** ARE WE?!?!?!? THIS AINT THE ART ACADEMY!
The ambiance for Big Run sends so many goosebumps and is quite haunting, yet it feels so soothing to hear. I admire the red sky and fog that both Splatsville and Inkopolis Plaza have, it adds to the vibes that danger is approaching. Combine that with the sounds of the boss salmonoids in the background, and it overall makes the experience quite terrifying. I really enjoyed the vibes in this video, it was pretty calming. ^^
The environmental sounds in this game are always so amazing, a lot of care goes into these for real. Thanks for watching!!

I dunno why but the chaos happening in the background makes me feel at ease, the scrapper noises to the stingers and even the boss alert, it all feels so peaceful
Oh man. I have never heard anything like this. The whole ambience of the terror and fear the agents have is awesome. I just want to give them a big hug and let them know that they are safe
I would fight the salmonids and protect every citizen.

The big run ambience here at Inkopolis and Splatsville in Splatoon 3 was so ominous and relaxing at the same time! Great work, Yume! 😌
The way when I look the pink sky from both Splatsville and Inkopolis Plaza gives me chills from the bad ending from hero mode, especially the music and sound effect my god that kinda creepy and scary. Welp that less Little Buddy is happy to see his cousins in a good/bad way.

If i would have made a change tho, i would made the 2 plazas empty, with only 2 peoples near Grizzco, that would make it seem like half of the peoples are working for the Big Run and the other half is barricated in their flats. 🤔

God, this year was my first big run. I was walking around Splatsville, drowning in my surroundings. The sky’s garish hues and the noises that ring from all around. It felt so interesting and also, so urgent.
(Big Run was fun! Hope it comes again and brings a new King with it!)
Thanks for uploading this! I just recently got the game (better late than never) and haven't gotten the Inkopolis Plaza DLC yet, so I didn't get a feel for what the ambience was like over there.

I just think about big run imagine their could be some People (in thé lore) that dontt want to have grizz weapons being you dont know so they just take their on weapon and équipement and go to thé place big run is doing

Don’t the inklings have a army? This ain’t fishing no more, this is a invasion. There should be grizzco employs AND military forces. Also in the background/skybox there should be fighting. You should be able to see other battles going on in the distance.
Thats actually a good question. Maybe the army leaves it to grizzco because they know grizzco will probably do a better job holding off the invasion on such short notice than they can. Or maybe theyre trying to cut off the salmonids while grizzco mops them up
Good point, but even then they would AT LEAST try to help evacuate or somethin. And grizzco is better at fighting salmonoids but the military has better training and equipment.

Yume is the reason why I love marina so much and the other reason is that I like the comic dub of marina. she also made me also develop feeling for her as well. now I don't want to be called a marina simp who ever replays on this comment. but the way Yume more development in her. Your amazing Yume I hope you do more voice overs like maybe for deep cut or squid sister's. I want to how good of a voice over for shiver & frye. and if you can do big man would be great even tho he is male but you do you Yume. also Stay fresh
