Just bought the 2020 Honda HR-V AWD Sport in black. Identical to the one in your video. I’ve only driven it about 100 miles but I know it’s a keeper for a long time (hopefully). The only thing I wish it had is the automatic on headlights but I certainly can live without those. All the controls are so simple to use. The magic rear seat is a winner (which you forgot to mention). This Sport model has everything I need and is just a dream to drive. I politely told them to go to hell. Turns out the brake light is an LED so you cannot replace the bulb you have to replace the whole housing. Now get this, here in florida all the dealerships are owned by one corporation that runs a monopoly on the state. They write the lemon laws and they have a choke hold over advance auto parts and autozone. I went to both advanced auto parts and autozone and they both have a note in their system that says that they do not carry the brake light and that i have to go to the dealer. Keep in mind LED technology is supposed to last bare minimum 10 years. Anyways, I was lucky to find the light on amazon for $160. Total horse shit.

Hello their Joe I'm gonna level with u but I personally don't like Honda CUV'S or SUV'S. I don't know why I don't like them but I guess I'm a bit picky or just not a huge fan of it. I do however love the Sedan, Hatchback, Coupe, Sport, SI, Type R lineup. Would love to see a 2020 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback Manual 1 day. Thanks Joe.
The Honda HRV is a decent value just like the Hyundai Kona; for the price however as a small AWD CUV, both are far less capable than the Subaru Crosstrek. The beautiful thing about the HRV is that they can fit Ikea furniture, wheelchairs, and Bicycles very easily with their magic Seats. Getting multiple bikes and multiple friends in an HRV is a breeze, surprisingly even easier than the bigger sized Nissan Rogue and Murano. All three are leagues better than the Jeep Compass and Toyota CHR.
It’s annoying to me how most of these car reviewers always bitch about horsepower. I live in NYC the average speed in this crowded city is 20 mph speed limit if 25 we have speeding cameras all over. No need to have a rocket in. NYC .

With these hp numbers and the weight of this car I'm surprised it doesn't take 15+ seconds 0-60. Shame it's so weak because it has a pretty decent sporty look to it.
I totally agree with you!
The sport is WAY better then the lx. It has the black accents, and the best looking rims
Hi if im a tall person 6.0... will i be confortable in it? Do you think someone will be confortable behind me if he’s 5.11 or less? And if i stay for 1-2 hours inside will i feel uncomfortable du to lack of space?? Thank you for you answer, don’t hesitate to tell me everything you thinks or know about this matter. (You get a like, your video is really good)
You'll fry in your black car with black interior in Florida . Saw a white one today and it looked very nice 😊
Great review. Love your humor. 😆
Thanks Tony!
Why can’t they put the 1.5 turbo from the Civic in the “Sport” HRV? It would be perfect!
I winder that myself!
Do people really never heard of 1.5T oil dilution ?
Ryan Coyle trust me, you don’t want that engine. It has oil/dilution problems. I just traded my 2018 CR-V for the 2020 HR-V for exactly that reason.
Did you notice no blind spot monitoring on the driver's mirror? ugh. C'mon Honda. Joe, what compact SUV (non-luxury) has the nicest interior in your opinion?
I totally agree with you! Hands down Mazda.
Would you buy that over Mitsubishi Outlander sport ?
They get better then advertised mpg with a mix of city and highway easily average 34+
My mum just sold her old HRV (2000) and bought a new HRV 😂
@@100M2B it actually did. It was sold in Europe and Japan
There was even a two door.
Max A/C yea I didn’t know until like last year lol . I always thought it was a brand new vehicle
I am glad that she likes it.
Max A/C I live in europe and so we had the 2 door, most reliable car we have ever had, still going strong after almost 20 years!
Joe a black car in FL? Does it have the heater delete option?
LOL I like what you did there Dave!
@@RaitisRides you could fry an egg on the hood for a morning breakfast!
Looks like it could be a nice lil pocket rocket
Looking for a gently used car. If I can find one it will be a strong contender. I am short and am always concerned about the blind spot. Can't wait to check an HR-V out.
super great content Joe love it great job on your video's ur the best RUclips's channel god bless Joe, PS Lori said she was going to send me out a zook shirt didn't get it please really waiting for it god bless Joe
HR-V or Soul which would you perfer?
The Fit
In the end I would go Kia Soul GT-Line.
Great car
hrv anyday
I bought a CRZ hybrid 2012 thinking HR-V🤩🤩
140 horsepower? CVT? I'm sold!
Every hrv has that and its hella slow
I am glad that you liked this one!
Lmao this HRV is freaking slow. I ended up getting a CRV instead. I would buy this if it comes with 1.5L turbo
@@arandomperson9897 lol dumb ass anyone can fly in a brand new car fuck the accelation its all about rippin a buck 40 through the city streets and back road and the speed a vehicle can hold in corners. who cares if the accleration is slow i could still whip u in any new honda hahah
Thanks God bless me I will buy one for myself
A classier Honda Fit Sport with AWD methinks.
Sendong123 and a bit more ground clearance for snow
How can you call a 141 HP vehicle a "sports" wagon ?
I feel you!
I wish we would get the turbo charged 180hp HRV Sport with the manual that they get in Europe.
Thanks for watching! I really appreciate your input and perspective!
Is this like a “FIT” or is it a little bigger? Can you sit up high?
Yes you can!
Does Honda discount this Made in Mexico Honda HRV ( $3 /hr. ). If not it’s over priced !
Why does the LX trim have a CD player but every trim above it does not? Try and find any new car with a CD player, very few have them.
That is really interesting isn't it. Good old Honda!
@@RaitisRides Why I'm looking at the LX for my wife, she has all these CD's and you can't use them in almost every new car. The base LX also comes with decent Michelin tires also.
Does the engine have the oil dilution/ gas smell in the cabin that cr-v are having?
nope ; it has the bulletproof civic engine from the past
Shelley J the 2020 Sport does not but I think I read somewhere they were going to upgrade to that engine in 2021. Not sure....
Hey. What’s the average lease for a lx or sport HRV? And how I should know if my local dealership isn’t ripping me off lol. Thanks
Give Sam a call at Tampa Honda.
Hrv is one of the best creations of Honda . Loved the rugged look ,stylish .love this car😍😍😍😍😍😍
I am so glad that you like this one.
Rugged lol
I’m buying one tomorrow I have Acura TL but I need a suv for my baby
Why would I back up in an alley? 😳
Hey Joe, my n laws have a 2018 CRV, and I actually love the HRV. I haven't been in a new Accord yet, but I love the Hrv's gauges, and aesthetically pleasing driver oriented dash design more than any other Honda, including the Civic. One thing you forgot to show though is the trick rear seats that allow you to store taller objects from the floor to the ceiling. I couldn't agree more about the surprising steering, and unfortunately the CVT.

This car would look sick slammed on coilovers or bagged with some TE37s
Hello their Joe I'm gonna level with u but I personally don't like Honda CUV'S or SUV'S. I don't know why I don't like them but I guess I'm a bit picky or just not a huge fan of it. I do however love the Sedan, Hatchback, Coupe, Sport, SI, Type R lineup. Would love to see a 2020 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback Manual 1 day. Thanks Joe.
I totally can see where you are coming from! Thanks for commenting and watching even though they are not for you!
@@RaitisRides Thanks Joe for completely understanding my point of view, opinions, and thoughts here on Raitis Rides ♥️♥️🤝🤝.
Does it have android auto?
The Honda HRV is a decent value just like the Hyundai Kona; for the price however as a small AWD CUV, both are far less capable than the Subaru Crosstrek.
The beautiful thing about the HRV is that they can fit Ikea furniture, wheelchairs, and Bicycles very easily with their magic Seats. Getting multiple bikes and multiple friends in an HRV is a breeze, surprisingly even easier than the bigger sized Nissan Rogue and Murano.
All three are leagues better than the Jeep Compass and Toyota CHR.
I love your comment about "Racing a bike cycle" hahaha! It's true its not quick but okay and could use bit more ponyies
It’s annoying to me how most of these car reviewers always bitch about horsepower. I live in NYC the average speed in this crowded city is 20 mph speed limit if 25 we have speeding cameras all over. No need to have a rocket in. NYC .
thats a cool little vehicle.
Zonk the car but one of the best mpg car.
👍💯video💯👍
Can you do a review on the new Honda Fit sport manual?
As soon as the 2020s are in, yes sir!
I like your reviews I like you
Can I have 2020 crv vs hrv vs Rav 4
Thanks for saying that! I will try to put that together!
I really want to like this car, but who designed the cockpit?! FAIL! The odd air vents and off-centered display screen bother me too. A faster engine would've made up for it though. Hopefully they make these changes soon.
I feel your pain!
For $23k it’s descent.....
AGREED!
Mpgs???
Decent
Point A to B transportation. Nothing more!! Nothing less!!! Definitely not best in segment.
Joe I think is a good car and the others brands like Toyota they are very expensive compare whit Honda , but at the end until your review is a bicycle you’re the best
Thanks Joel for saying that! I really appreciate it!
