Your Mustang wing is not a table!! Lol! Awesome build man. Really looking forward to seeing the slats work. That is something I wish many EDF's had. I couldn't agree more on the pin hinges and a clean look.
Looking great Brent. The full size YF-17 is at Torrance Airport, southern California at the east end of the airport belong to the western museum of flight. My old stomping ground. What foam are you using and where did you purchase it? John from Hayden Idaho
One thing that I really wish that spektrum could do is be able to use some of their telemetry to control things. With the g meters built into a lot of theirs receivers. It would be awesome to put parameters in such as when the airspeed or ground speed is x the LE slats deploy and at specific gs they extend even more. X+y= z but only to max. It’s coming up I am sure. Also I am sure that safe has an angle indicator built in to it.

Like that simple, smart and straight forward way to go, without a lot of computer design. 💯👍🏻
LE Flaps are huge. Hope they work well with your planned mixing.
@@Airsally guess well find out lol
Following along my friend, and she's looking good already! Can't wait to see the finished model, it's gonna be sweet!!
Really like what you have designed here . thinking it will fly like its on rails ! leading flap is freakin KOOL
I love using 164th ply on tissue covered (Comet, Guillows) models, frequently formed, instead of the plan suggested heavy cardboard, for fairings.
Fascinating stuff, can't wait to see how your leading edge/ throttle mix, gyro? works out, very cool
