when I played through this game i was clueless about the equipment system my riend found an earlier g-union on his characters it took me a while to final my characters g-union I basically control rose more than sorey when I got her but I already inished the game I'm now doing the hexen isle youir skill setup is the best i've seen so far
Quite good setups, farming a few more *3 skills will open up a few stacks. One thing to note is if you have the Battle Action that re-calculates skills in armatization, 11 Chein/Tempescht stacks Mistiq will lose its effect in Armatization. Further, Mistiq only stacks 2 times (80% reduction). It might actually be more useful to go for 11 stacks Sheeld on the casters (seraphs), so that a) You keep 2x Mistiq when armatized b) You won't be interrupted Also, in case you get more stacks on your items, you can furthermore aim for a 7 elemental row in addition to 2x Mistiq, making enemy resistance to the seraphs element obsolete. This is especially great with Mikleos Armatize, as it is water elemental only. Most other Arma spells have some kind of mix up, but it is still nice to have. Now actually a question: Blasst stacks up to 6 times, so BG is at 9. What about titles? Most titles further give bonus BG, if thse count in as well, just 4 Blasst might be necessary even.
Thanks and I just offered up a +99 sheeld, so definitely looking to incorporate that into a build. I don't use that skill that re calculates my skills when armatized since that butchers my setups. Thanks for the heads up on mikleo, wasn't sure which character to go for a 7 Union on but mikleo sounds like a good option since I can use his weapon skill to get mystiq and use my other slots freely. I'm running out of spare unnamed pieces to offer, so probably gonna have to wait until my 3rd game to fully optimize everything.
+swillo did you actually farmed 1000 equipment ... because i know you have to bless the equip to +10 then bless it then do it again so u farmed 1000 equipment to get +99 like wtf this is impossible i have been grinding for such a long time and have no luck its like eating me away sigh
How do you get cheinx2 on all 3 slots. Is this rng based. I mean you have to wait for a drop with cheinx2 on one slot and wait again for an equipment to drop with cheinx2 on the 2nd slot and then fuse it. Is this the way to get it? Tia

Aw man I see what everyone was talking about. I was trying to make some good decent gear on my first playthrough but it seems I better hit up NG+ and the harder difficulties first o.o. Those stacks seem pretty damn useful.

On NG+ though I would try to play through as much as you can on Chaos to help with skill grinding later. If you want you can raise your unnamed gear to +99 and offer it. Stack 3 abilities will grant you +1BG. There are equipments that already come with BLASST (+1BG) as well. There are tittles that will provide you with +2BGs.
Hi, great set ups on Sorey and Rose, but I have a question, since I'm obviously missing something XD I'm currently between Lastonbell and Pendrago on my first playthrough and I've played on Hard since the beginning, then as soon as I unlocked Intense, I switched to it and now I'm about at 100ish battles from unlocking Chaos. I've set the normin Spirri for the Lord of the Land in the region I'm at (Meadow of Triumph), trying to get equip with Spirri for Rose, since I'd like to make her a stun machine, possibily integrating it with Rangus to wreak havoc. Up until now, though, not only I've never seen a piece of equip with a x2 skill (let alone x3), but 90% of the drops are males stuff (waistcoats, jackets, berrets, sorey's swords and earrings) or rings, next to nothing for Rose or females in general. And they're mostly crappy Fluoric equip. Am I just being unlucky or am I missing something?

ilham riduan you have to play on hard (maybe intense) and above for x2 skills and on chaos for x3 skills. Also you have to have done more fights on the harder difficulty. So if you did 100 fights on moderate you have to do at least 101 on hard before you can get x2 skills

+hoIyforks Yes and no. These weapons have a lot of flexibility which sometimes it's more about utility than raw stats, but it all boils down to your playstyle, but like I said, I put more emphasis on comboing.

+skies100 I just offered a few pieces for the skills I wanted the most on my first playthrough and on my second I offered up all the duplicates that I wouldn't be able to carry to my third game.

you can even level faster than that, just download dlc for free and use the lvl up package xD, else you can also go on simple difficulty which yields highest experience, just like other tales game,.
this is the first Tales game I've played since PS1. I highly recommend it if you like JRPGs (and anime, it's very anime). I admit it took me about half way through the game to stop hating it, but once you get a good grasp on all the mechanics it's extremely fun and rewarding. Oh, and the story isn't very good and is full of contradictions and spontaneous, unjustified personality changes, but if you aren't a stickler for logical plots and characters who don't contradict themselves every other cut scene, you'll be fine.
Never got my hands on a xb360... Vesperia would definitely be in my top 4 once I play it. So far I'm doomed because look like it will never be ported to pc... That and destiny 2 are priorities, and right now I'm playing berseria and it's slightly better than zestiria, much better story but more button mashing. Rip tales of... But at least every game they release is enjoyable at some level, Y just couldn't stand hearts r, took me almost 2 years to complete
I dunno I really hated trying to perfect those sucky unnamed items in this game... it didnt feel rewarding at all, maybe mostly cause the whole system revolving around those bonus skills was kinda janky imo.
playing on Intense gives your item drops a chance to have x2. playing on Chaos has even bigger chance, plus the chance for x3 You unlock higher difficulties by playing on your current highest for a while (playing on Hard will eventually give you a pop up tutorial explaining Intense, playing on Intense eventually does the same for Chaos).
+TjRoxas PO I need to correct a minor error above: x2 drops can be acquired on Hard as well, but the chance is very low. Search for the Gamefaqs "Blessed Weapon" guide to see how to make all skills drop x2 100% of the time

this build kills me... so much wasted potential. Lucyfr is more than enough SC reduction, especially when you can just chain blast and get half of your SC back.

about the eterniti skill, do you usually do more combo without breaking it as long as you have SC? even with only 4 exceed?

is there a difference between enemy drops and spawning because according to the guide you just mentioned on hard x2 equipment spawning is possible

How do you have a x2 Chein on your ring 1st slot (with rose). From what I can see there's no Chein 1st slot skill for rings...

Why would you want to play on easy?
I personally played on moderate. But when you think about it all this minmaxing is just a way of making fights easier.

the game on easy has enemies who stand still and watch you, if you have a strong build and play on chaotic and land a 100 hits combo it feels amazing
Not to mention trophy hunting. Some of the trophies require you to play on higher difficulties.
