I love when you include Guido and friends in the occasional video, brings such joy to the viewer. Specially Lapo's beautiful Tuscan Villa. The history is impressive and also that those beautiful villas are still stunning and standing . Oh I love that Lapos kitchen water is always running because it is soothing sound of water running like a water fountain.... Such a great video to distract me from life and the stress. inspirational to focus on saving and planning to move to Italy Tuscany especially such a dream. Working on it now and in a few years God willing I can see al of this for my self .

Another beautiful video Kylie. I can very much relate to the olive oil discussion! We have a second home near Lucca with 275 olive trees. It was all very romantic and exciting the first few years, the you realize everything Guido is saying is true. It is a lot of work, and expense and you never know what you will have come October. Here in the US very few people understand the complexity of growing, harvesting, and bottling the amazing Tuscan oil. It's worth every penny you pay! And there is nothing better than that first taste of freshly pressed oil! Tanti saluti.
I've heard from friends who have traveled to small family owned olive producers in Italy how much better the pure, fresh oil can be. It's wonderful to see such long established Tuscan oil makers such as Guido's family and your friend take a personal love and care after so many generations. I love seeing the history and age in Italy. I live and work in Qatar and , in a country where every building is metal , concrete and glass, it’s refreshing to see beautiful old buildings with a natural aged patina

Such a lovely video. I should be coming to Italy in a month with my daughters and grandchildren. I would really love to come to Florence but not brave enough to come on my own and friends no longer want to travel but hopefully can introduce the family to my love of all things Italian. I just want to thank you for for keeping us calm during lockdown. I started watching at the beginning of it and put your vlogs on when I get anxious . Also I’ve kept all the vlogs on language so hopefully I will remember some words while I’m there .

Hola Amiga!! I want to say that yesterdays video was AMAZING!!!! It actually kinda made us want to cry a bit and how beautiful the world is and especially ITALIA!! We left Canada in 2021 wanting to move to Italy or at least be there for a few years but sadly with the “covid” situation in Europe we decided to move to Mexico and we absolutely love it!! Anyway I have been doing RUclips videos since we arrived in Mexico and recently a few people have been asking us to do longer videos and I can understand why. Last night my wife and I were watching your video on the tv and it just ended and we said WHAT!! That’s it? 12 minutes passed like if it was 2 minutes 😂😂. Yesterdays video should have been 1hr jajajaj it was so magical and we really didn’t want it to end.. We watch your videos often and when you said you didn’t drink wine I said to my wife what she doesn’t drink wine and of course you said it before as my wife knew but ( men) don’t listen Heheheh anyway just wanted to say Thank you for your videos and if Guido needs a wine drinking partner please let me know !! I was raised around vineyards Olive trees Almond trees pistachio trees and many fruit trees located in the San Joaquin Valley 93723 California and Carmel by the Sea 93923 and Monterey 93940 California Coastal areas. As I got older I truly appreciated more and more the Olive Oil and Wine that We have in Our daily meals. Grazie Kylie. I got my Tuscany fix today. He has a gorgeous villa and gardens. Where is his wife and kids? He needs a big family to help with his farm and winery. Alot of work. Reminds me so much of making olive oil with my Nonna in the campagna region where I’m from and you’re absolutely right there is nothing better than freshly pressed olive oil done in a old cement wheel and you definitely don’t need a lot because it’s so rich and delicious I love my country..

My family raised dairy cows, farming is hard in all aspects but can be so satisfying. I love olive oil and I love wine, I also love milk. I just want to say to our farmers, thank you for what you do, we know it's hard work and can be so little appreciated or taken for granted please know this lady right here thanks you.

Kylle, I can't tell you how much I loved this video. I realized that while watching it, I had a broad smile on my face because I was so enjoying seeing this wonderful environment at your friend's villa / olive farm. This brought the viewer so close to the actual lifestyle of olive farming on this ancient and beautiful landscape. Just incredible. I read some of the history of the Gondi family dating back to 1200. They held all sorts of positions in Florence and were distantly related to de Medici. Thank you so much for bringing this part of Italian history into focus. There is SO much to learn about the City and Country States of Italy. I am now hooked and will be doing more research on this. The history is Italy and France are incredibly intertwined. What an amazing and affordable local product. Here in northern California, good quality single origin local olive oil can be $25 or $30 or more per liter from both small and larger producers. $14 for 1/3 of a liter is not uncommon pricing at our local farmer's markets. What a lovely peek into life in Tuscany.
I crave good quality Olive oil, there's nothing like it. I brought a little bottle of olive oil back with me from Florence the other week. It was an essential. Its almost gone now 😭😭 absolutely loved this video

I have the same knife that is being used to slice the bread. Two sides blades. I almost cut my hand using it the other day. My Bread was a couple of days old, and I went to use pressure on the upper blade to help me slice the bead!😳
Olive oils we buy in the US, are surely not the same as what you are consuming!
