I have the older 2x4 Stampede that has an aftermarket motor and ESC. I see no issue with the steering on this. I have nothing bad to say about this newer improved model. I like it as much as my Rustler VXL.
would it be wild for someone new to rc to get this truck LOL being able to just buy it and use it not really worry about upgrading it and worrying about it breaking would be so nice LOL
@@SuperFastRcIf I ever was to get one, I would sell the stock ESC, motor TX and RX and probably the servo. I got much better components laying around for it indeed. That's what I always do with my Traxxas xmaxx and Maxx (I no longer have that one). The motor kv is too low, the ESC is too weak and I don't like the Traxxas TX and RX. And I would slap the GTR shocks and springs. That would be my set up 👍

I run Traxxas batteries in mine but the zee or hovoo will fit

Have you noticed yet how fast the motor gets hot , ten maybe fifteen minutes too hot

I put a powerhobby clip on fan on my motor before even running it. Powerhobby clip on the fan with heat sink and two fans. It was Ike $12 at the LHS
