    The lasfit bulb, you have it at the 3-9 position but if you look at the bulb by the led chips, there is metal running along one side and the other side there is no metal. The metal part is supposed to be on the bottom for the best pattern according to lasfit.

    That Lasfit LA plus H11 bulb u showed how to installed it, that’s actually upside down.
    The braided cables has to be downward. Not upward.
    That will give u a better beam pattern.

    • @TheCastLife

      Really good output, the projectors in the Tacoma keeps the glare down and concentrated on the road. If you still have halogens I definitely recommend switching to LEDs.

      @@TheCastLife way ahead of u. I’m already runnin with lasfit.
      But it’s not an LA plus.
      It’s a H11 LD Plus switchback.
      Such a bright led lights. 6000k pure white. And 3000k golden yellow.
      But according to the bulb facts, it’s tested as 6200k. Which it makes sense it’s got a bit more on a blue spectrum but it’s still awesome.
      It’s on my 2015 lifted Scion xB.
      And bulbfacts also texted the LA plus, and it’s actually rated as 5950k. Which it does have a bit more pure white with a bit less ting of blue. And that’s a great thing.
      I did order them for my family’s 2017 Toyota sienna LE.
      And fun fact. The LA plus and the LD Plus switchback H11 bulbs has been recorded on how long do these led bulbs built the heat up.
      Like after 27 minutes which is the commuter time in the US. The LA plus gets 94 degrees for all in one unit. And that’s the lowest temperature for an all in one unit. And that’s epic.
      And the LD plus switchback has 86 degrees for the main unit, and I think the small external driver should make below average of 130 degrees.
      That tells me, these led bulbs is without a doubt, the most reliable led bulbs that lasfit ever makes.
      Any led bulb that has below 150 degrees or lower will last a lot longer. Especially on 30 watts.

    Lasfit works great when you just plug it in to test. I have a ford edge and this light comes with a removable ring that is like a key to set the light in place. he problem is it is removable. The removable key dropped off and now i need a replacement. The operation so far is not simple or easy. I have been trying for two months from Lasfit to get replacement. But they answered once after a month and than blew me off. So anyone want to buy a worthelss (two) buld from a company that has terrible customer service? thats like 45 dollars wasted.

    • @rlv8321
      @rlv8321 9 месяцев назад

      I reached out to them directly the only response was they couldn't find my order. That response was actually a month of dead space waiting. I bought it from the store they have on ebay and sent them the information. That was more than a month ago and more dead space. So, i doubt that its worth anymore time and wasted effort. Just that people who want to consider this should also consider the customer service aspect @@TheCastLife

      Get Lasfit - LA plus. And for ur ram that are known for sensitive canbus system. It can have a lose of light, not turning on, or flickering.
      Get the Lasfit - anti-flicker/decoder. It will help stabilize ur led bulbs and it will not pop up ur warning light on ur dash.

    I don't trust the Lumen levels being quoted. 25 000 Lumens is ridiculous for LED headlights, and I do not trust or believe that measurement. I don't even beleive the LASFits reach 6000 Lumens. These companies throw numbers around that mean nothing as the methodolgy of testing is not quoted along with it. Also, it very much depends on the reflector you have as to how the LEDs will perform. In a projector style light, they wil work a lot better. In a standard halogen reflector that is not a projector style, they are going to spray light all over the place in most cases. You need to check that the cutoff on low beam is as sharp as it is with halogen globes, and make sure the angle of the LED is appropriately set.
    As far as the colour, as much as I like the LED globes, the 3600 Kelvin of Halogen globes actually works better at dusk/dawn and in the fog. 6000K is really bad in fog and at dusk/dawn.
    As far as external driver. Some LASFits have them external, some have the LED driver built into the housing of the globe.
    Unfortunately your video is pretty useless as far as showing how the LED's perform as you are not close enough to the wall to show the low beam cutoff, and if the low beam pattern was like you showed, you'd blind oncoming drivers, and in countries like UK and Australia, it would fail Department of Transport tests and make the vehicle unroadworthy.

    • @crs1474
      @crs1474 Год назад

      I disagree. The video showed the pattern at distance on a wall. Might not be good enough to decide if you’re in the UK or anywhere outside the US but it’s a video that took time to record and edit and upload. I give him props.

      Please save your poor/useless comments. This video is by far one of the better ones in terms of actually showing what the lights look like in terms of on coming and what is projected out front.
      As far as your comments about the ratings, none of the LEDs being sold actually reach the numbers they claim so for you to ever assume they would it's poor on your judgment.
      As far as your comment about passing inspection well that's common sense, one LEDs are illegal period in the US. Maybe some states allow it but overall they aren't legal. And for inspection common sense says keep your regular OEM bulbs and switch them out before inspection.
      Please save your response. No one needs it. I just feel it's pointless you watch people's video and give poor feedback per your opinion.
      Start your own channel and do it right if your not happy. 😀😎

      I do agree that anything that claims 10,000-30,000 lumens is a lie.
      Lasfit keeps it real numbers. If it’s a 30W, it’s a 3000 lumens per bulb, if it s a 20W per bulb, it’s a 2000 lumens per bulb. If it’s a 55W per bulb, it’s 5500 lumens per bulb.
