Sagada is not a city, it is a town, Mr Boo (Korean Vlogget visited Sagada and went to the cave) there was Korean too went to Mt Amoyao alone passing Barlig Mt Prov . He insisted to go alone but he got lost, he was found after 11 days it seems, the Korean embassy contacted Barlig and the rescue operation started with the help of other rescue personnel of other nearby towns, that is why the Province required all tourist to have tour guide

@15:10 hehehehe Yes ma'am, it's not yet summer that is why there could be smaller tourists out there. But during summer, they want to go to the caves, water falls, and mountain climbing as well. Bonfires if you want to. Amazing sunrise and sunset over the mountains. Go back there during the summer and you will see a bulk of western people. That is why Sagada was once called the "LITTLE CALIFORNIA" of the Philippines because of pinetrees, old house designs, pears, the climate....etc.....GOOD JOB FOR THE HANGING COFFINS. (I wish you have demonstrated at least once or twice to hear the HOW the echo works. ) Is it really a taboo until now? Z Generation already.

Oh, it's amazing how you endured the cold. Aigoo, when you go up North, most especially to the Cordilleras, like Baguio, Sagada, always bring jacket. You might get sick because of the cold. Anyways, it's good knowing you enjoyed the place. We are from the Mountain Province where Sagada is located. Sagada has caves, falls and rice terraces. We also have more tourists spots in other parts of Mountain Province such as Mt. Kupapey, Maligcong Rice Terraces, Mainit Hot Spring and many more. You can visit there next time. After Sagada, Just drive 1 hour going to Bontoc and travel 30 more minutes to Maligcong where you can see Mt. Kupapey and the Maligcong Rice Terraces. From Bontoc, you can also travel 30 more minutes to Mainit Hot Spring. But since it is a countryside, better to check first all the roads thru google before traveling. All in all, it is good knowing you are OK most especially during the past typhoons. Always take care may God bless you always in your travels and destinations.
PS: Ive been thinking how were you in the past since typhoons lately in Baguio is scary. Thank God, we are all safe.

This hanging coffin is an old practice of our ancestors but only remain in most part of Luzon Highlands which most of the Filipino cultural practice are still intact cause this part of Philippines barely colonized by colonizers, same in Mindanao highlands.. if you research this hanging coffin practice there's still a trace back to Mainland Asia, the Baiyue ethnic in southern china.. If you want to know Philippines pre colonial culture, you can visit CAR region..or even Taiwan, the Formosan, they are basically our ancestors.
