  • Parliament has welcomed an influx of Generation Z MPs following Labour's landslide election victory, with seven of the eight youngsters being from Keir Starmer's party.
Labour MP for North West Cambridgeshire Sam Carling has become the youngest sitting MP, known as the baby of the house, at just 22 years old.
Labour MPs Joshua Dean and Euan Stainbank are also just 24 years old.

Being 22k and living the life of 100k salary and unlimited expenses isn’t the kind of experience we need running the country.

Didn’t vote for him, I’m really dissatisfied with the stances and positions Labour have taken, I even asked him directly on social media if he agreed with the statement “Does austerity need to be stopped?” He honestly said “I don’t agree”! Unbelievable! After 14 yrs of it destroying this country, all the people who have fallen into the worst poverty because of it, that Labour do not take an anti-austerity approach to their plans for govt is insulting to all the people who are poorer because of it.
