The hohio bit gets me😂
I´m from France. I see that the film The Lion King has been translated and is now possible to watch it in Te reo Maori. When that big lion said "Chur bro" did they translate that into Te reo Maori or is "Chur bro" already Te reo Maori?
Mīharo ra.

Ataahua, where can we get the recording please?
My daughter is learning this at school. Sadly now with this new government they may not sing it next year.
dont let that sadden u let that be your drive no one can tell your daughter what she can sing shes allowed to do whatever makes her heart sing🥹❤️🖤🤍 we must stand together as one
Keep Calm and Kōrero on e te whānau! Kia Kaha Te Reo Māori! ❤️🤍🖤
NO ONE is saying Maori can't speak, teach and celebrate their language as much as they like. What the new government has done is refuse to pay out millions upon millions of dollars to "Maori language experts" to teach every public sector worker and school child in the country. It was set to be yet another massive transferal of public money, ostensibly to "fight racism" (bullshit) but in reality, just another huge bribe to Iwi and guaranteed "work" for their mates and family members. All to teach a language that most Maori don't care learn themselves. The reason this lot are so pissed off is that usually when they're told "No" they march up and down, stomp their feet, stick out their tongues and generally act like a bunch of yobs. Our pathetic excuse for a media pretend that the rabble rousers represent the vast bulk of Maori people which is an utter lie and eventually, the activists get their way in the form of a pay off. Well, not this time. This country is in severe financial and economic peril after six years of suicidal mismanagement. The government have the huge and thankless task of just trying to get the books into some semblance of order without throwing away tens, even hundreds of millions of dollars to appease "activists". They're not angry that they're being treated differently from everyone else. They're furious that they're being treated the SAME. I repeat: ANYONE can speak, write, learn and/or teach the Maori language if they want to do so. They can even contract a fee with someone who wants to learn if they want. What they can't do is just expect a pay cheque from the tax payer for doing so.
