Theyre amazing to launch!!! I added a ceramic clutch on my 92 TT when i rebuilt the engine... And i swear that car launches harder than my 440 powered 68 Dart did...even with slicks!!! Rev it to about 3000 and sidestep the pedal. Chirp, then boom...rocketship!! Im pretty sure the Stealth would beat it to at least the 60 foot mark. After that...well, the Dart ran 11.50s LOL... But still impressive, and its damn sure more fun in the corners!!

The 3000GT VR4 was ambitiously ahead of its time, featuring twin turbocharged dohc v6, with a limited slip differential and technology like 4 wheel steering.
The 3000GT/Stealth’s downfall was a curb weight of 3700lbs & a price tag that put it into 2JZ Toyota Supra Turbo territory.

You know what the best part is???? I paid $100 for it because the flywheel bolts heads had sheered off so it was a cheap fix lol bet that’s makes you feel even happier to hear that? Hahahaha

At this point it's the better driver or who ever is having a better day. The cars are 99.9% the same. Only difference is the body. Both cars were so far ahead of their time!

Only one problem with it you literally started the Dodge stealth on the inside turn on a one lap race 😂 switch the car placement and see who wins

You've got to shift into second gear quickly with this car, first is low for a good holeshot.

The inside car always has an advantage over the car on the outside because its travling less distance.

I wonder how often insurance agents from this area watch these videos and say hey I have that car insured and dude said he ran off the road over in such and such county trying to miss a deer.
used to have these at Dixie speedway down in Woodstock Georgia I saw some really nice cars get tore up it was a group of guys who built cars just for the modified spectators racing and they did not have a problem putting a fender in you
