Why is everybody in Hangzhou excited about these?

- If you're from China or have visited the country, you mostly likely have heard about Hangzhou, in Zhejiang. Hangzhou is mostly famous for its West Lake, but it has a lot more to offer than that. Also, the upcoming Asian Games will be held there.

I like the mascots the best, they're so cute and I know they represent one of the sites that represent Hangzhou: the Liangzhu Ancient City site, the West Lake site, and the Grand Canal! And the duck bookmark is cute too.

I bought a beautiful Chinese book mark for one of my daughters last year, representing one of our favourite Chinese dramas and I love it!. My favourite must be the mascot. Each of them represents one heritage sites in Hangzhou: archaeological ruins of Liangzhu City, the West Lake and the Grand Canal. Can't wait to have one of those mascots myself!

That would be great! It would feel like I would get a second chance to see the Games. I have been on a few trips like those in the past and, at the moment, Miguel is on an adventure.

Nou eerlijk gezegd vind ik die mascottes oerlelijk en het hele idee dat zo'n mascotte geluk brengt vind ik bijgeloof.
De afbeelding van de 'godmen' op de mousepad vind ik een afgod en zou ik persoonlijk zo in de prullenbak gooien .

When I visited China in 2016 we spent a lot of time at the home of my husband’s cousin. That time he watched the Olympics 24/7 and since then I am also binge watching them 🙈this is the first time I hear about the Asian games and I can’t wait to see them next year 🤩 do you have a kind of sport you especially like to watch at these games ?

Completely off topic but I'm curious to know what is your favorite thing to try or do when you arrive at a place you're visiting for the first time? I hope I'm not imposing by these next questions but what bids you to travel so frequently and see such beautiful places (and try many amazing strange foods). Do yoy travel for work or for pleasure? I only just subscribed ND watch a handful of videos but I love the content!
Hi Kace! Not imposing at all! I love to just wander around a town when I first arrive to get a feel for it. Also, I'd like to try out the food. I don't travel for work. We (used to) travel for pleasure. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to travel much recently.
