    Gyro will be the final villain of HxH. the "Gyro's arc" will happens after the Dark continent arc. the true reason Togashi showed the Phantom troupe protecting Meteor city in the chimera ant arc, was to us know that as long the phantom troupe is around, Meteor city will be safe from dangerous "creatures/people" coming from outside. and now the Phantom troupe is in the boat going to the Dark continent, and can't protect they country from Gyro, that after leave the NGL, headed to Meteor city to begin his plan of bring darkness to the whole world again. while the whole succession war/ Dark continent arc happens, Gyro will dominate Meteor city and attack the whole world. and that's when Gon and Killua will come back to the story.

Not to mention, togashi keeps introducing new characters every ark. I just hope that togashi stays healthy or have some help doing his masterpiece

    funny enough I thought first time I saw hxh that gyro was a small thing but rereading the ant arc he had a lot more influence on the story. those villains that have small in the back growth are ones I like a ton.
    I feel he'll take over meteor city as his underlings are going there and cause a power vacuum that will spread to the rest of the world that killuas family may feel as they get hired sometimes

    Gyro could have turned out a better person, if he became extremely grateful for the neighbor, who had no connection to him offer unconditional kindness from his heart for all life, and even get into a fight with his father. But it's easier to say than to do.

    I like how Togashi shows that strong minded individuals retain there core personalities even after becoming chimera ants. Colt, Ikalgo , Gyro , Welfin, Brovado and the Koala ant.. Etc. I have a theory that Meruem was Pokkle's reincarnation. He did have a lovely thing with Ponzu (r.i.p) and i think that his past love refected in the way (reincarnated pokkle) Meruem felt for Komugi. Just a theory. Great videos man!

    Gyro could very well be introduced around the same time the real expedition to DC takes place. Think about it, Meteor City, home of the Phantom Troupe is currently "vacant" in terms of characters we know who are strong enough to defend that land. It would be the perfect time to implement Gyro. Still no clue what his actual plans are, but they're probably no good. Aside from foreshadowing Gon, I wonder who else will interact with him. Super interesting character and direction for the overall story!

    That he is gonna taking over whale island is it a possibility that that’s how gon and gyro will meet?

    Seeing as a lot of focus has been placed on the power of post-mortem Nen and its nature in the current on-goings, I wouldn't be surprised to see Gyro being set up and framed as some kind of equally powerful - or perhaps even greater -counterpoint in the future: an embodiment of Nen fueled by a will that refuses to die, perseverance that requires living on even it entails suffering a fate worse than death, the idea that the will to live ultimately trumps the will to die, depending on the intent, and the degree of sacrifice and will required to meet a certain goal....yadda yadda and so forth; the power of peak life-driven Nen, in short. What scant but telling info we've offered on Gyro's perspective and methods, as outlined in the video, may just align with this rather perfectly. So Togashi may end up touting Gyro as the ultimate personification -- or closest thing to it, short of the heroes -- of will; a supremely relentless, hyper-focused Nen Juggernaut whose determination surpasses life and death.
    Maybe. Who knows? Speculation and theorizing is fun.
    All that said, some other things to ponder with this idea in mind:
    - Supposing there will indeed be certain further limits revealed with respect to post-mortem Nen as was discussed in this video...well, it certainly pave the way for the introduction of a power that surpasses post-mortem Nen.
    - Speaking of fates worse than death, is the introduction of the horrifying Immortality Disease from the Dark Continent and its nature really any coincidence then? It's Togashi we're talking about here, so it's a question that need not even be asked, of course. But let's just say that the topic might well be broached again if and when Gyro makes his return. Sure would be fitting here if he were to get his hands on said disease and/or develop Nen powers related to cursed immortality and such.
    - On that note, just look also to Gon's own ordeal following his battle with Pitou. Easy enough to see how this can all tie together. Needless to say, I think we all know the return of adult Gon is inevitable, so all the more fitting then if it coincides with the potential vision of Gyro and aforementioned subject matter outlined thus far. If so, you can also bet on it being made explicitly clear that there'll be no do-overs available this time, thereby exponentially enhancing any drama and tension surrounding Gon potentially making the choice to go Adult once again, readers and cast alike knowing what came before and fearing what may follow this time around.
    But again, just speculation

    Does anyone think it's possible that the story and themes of hunter x hunter may be inspired by pinocchio? What if gon wanting to become a hunter and his transformation are inspired by pinocchio wanting to and becoming a real boy which in pinocchios case is meant to symbolise his maturation) in the case of gon when he transforms, his realisation that life isn't fair, the good guys don't always win and the world can be a cruel place, and when gons realises this and transforms he feels a sense of freedom and relief because he doesn't care anymore about life and this may be a dark twisted way of mirroring pinocchios transformation and pinocchios desires to not want to be a puppet and to have no strings attached, not only gon pre chimera ant is portrayed as being a naive happy go lucky individual very similar to how pinocchio is before all the lessons he learns, and in the pinocchio book and film pinocchio is deceived by a talking cat (multiple times in the book and on one ocassion leads to pinnochios dying and him having to be resurrected by the blue fairy) which is similar to how gon feels like pitou a talking betrayed him by not healing kite qnd how gon defeating pitou also led to gon essentially dying and needing to be resurrected by a wish granting being (meaning maybe allukah could represent the blue fairy from pinocchio) and at the end of pinocchio in order for him to become a real boy he has to save his father from a giant whale qnd ging is currently on the black whale ship, so if my theory is true then maybe gon has to rescue at some point in the story in a way that involves him getting to the dark continent. Kites death and reincarnation as a chimera ant which gon blames himself for maybe a reference to pinocchio hanging around lampwick who was a trouble maker and bad influence on pinocchio who ended up getting turned into a donkey qnd getting killed and eaten. Kites death being used to show gon that the chimera ants are no joke and are serious threat maybe a reference how lampwicks fate was used to show pinocchio he needs to take his life seriously. Also in another one of my theories I said that gyros animal /ant form could be based on a self aware like a dolphin and a dolphin is essentially a bootleg whale so maybe the proverbial whale gon may have to save his father from is gyro. Also the whale symbolism doesn't just stop with the black whale ship, but is furthered by the fact that gon is literally from "Whale" Island

    If you see the narrative progression of Hunter x Hunter is similar to a game story, Togashi is using exactly two arcs tô develop the main cast, First was the Hunter exam and York Shin Arc, were he developed the four main characters, then he shifted tô just Gon and Killua in the Greed Island and Chimera Ants Arcs with the solely objective tô give the two boys field experiênce for the Dark Continent final Arc, and now Togashi will do the same thing for Leorio and Kurapika giving them the field experiênce tô tackle the Dark Continent final Arc, the First Arc is the current arc of the Royal Succession War then we will have another Arc that will bê similar to the Greed Island Arc teaching Kurapika and Leorio the necessáry know how for being a field hunter then in the final arc It will be a Hunt for Gyro Head but in the Dark Continent and the four main characters Will bê reunited together like an RPG party and they will Hunt Gyro, the pieces are aligning together, First is Hisoka then Alluka and the rest I don't know.

    PREDICTIONS:
    - 4th Prince Tserriednich Hui Guo Rou KILLS all princes of Kakin.
    - Kurapika (maybe with Melody) KILLS 4th Prince Tserriednich Hui Guo Rou.
    - Chrollo KILLS Kurapika (or Kurapika just dies on his own).
    - Hisoka KILLS Chrollo & all Phantom Troupe members (with the exception of the two Zoldycks (Illumi Zoldyck & Kalluto Zoldyck) & maybe Feitan Portor (if his being a Zoldyck theory is true)).
    - SOME that will survive the Black Whale: Hanzo, Knov, Biscuit Krueger, Morel, some Zodiacs like Cheadle & Leorio, Phantom Troupe Zoldycks (Illumi Zoldyck & Kalluto Zoldyck), Feitan Portor (if his being a Zoldyck theory is true), and finally, Beyond's Dark Continent team.
    - Those that will definitely survive the Black Whale: Beyond Netero, Ging Freecss, Pariston Hill, Hisoka Morow.
    - Beyond Netero might kill some Zodiac members.
    - We will probably see Beyond Netero, Ging Freecss, Pariston Hill, Hisoka Morow on the shores of the Dark Continent with the Black Whale burning behind them. On the weaker side of the Black Whale survivors who will go to the Dark Continent and not return midway or get off the ship on the new continent with civilians will be Leorio, some Zodiacs, and Beyond's team.
    - Don Freecss is alive and writing the west side of his book.
    - Gyro will be the final arc (with the return of Gon & Killua).

      @@apeesteranime2956 Thanks. My other guesses would be that the 4th Prince Tserriednich Hui Guo Rou will appear to win the succession war by killing all of the other princes of Kakin, with the exception of Camilla Hui Guo Rou, who may be placed in a half-dead, half-alive state. However, I believe that Kurapika will ultimately defeat Tserriednich and prevent him from obtaining the throne, maybe with the help of Melody (her story about the sonata of darkness might be attached to the 4th prince as well).
      In terms of the overall outcome of the succession war, I believe that King Nasubi Hui Guo Rou will emerge as the ultimate victor. He may be using his children as pawns to fulfill a certain Nen condition that will end up aiding with the expedition to the dark continent, or the death of his children may serve as a Nen condition that will restore him to his youthful state. Since the king doesn't seem like someone great at Nen, it might be part of his Nen beasts' power to "regain his youth." I also subscribe to the thought that Beyond Netero may possess immortality achieved through incorporating the Zobae disease into his Nen, as suggested by the "New World Review" RUclips channel.
      It's possible that King Nasubi may be seeking immortality for himself as well, possibly by acquiring the Nitro Rice from the dark continent (it may be part of the deal Beyond Netero and King Nasubi had).

    I'm getting behind theories that Gyro will basically be taking over swathes of the human world with Meteor City at the capitol of his new kingdom. It's just, I've a funny feeling we'll be seeing his presence felt much earlier than expected, indirectly or otherwise, be it on the Dark Continent if not on the Whaleship itself in the midst of the current Succession War arc.

    What if gyros backstory is inspired by the moses? One similarity between them is that moses fled Egypt after he killed someone who he saw beating a hebrew slave and gyro left his home after killing his father but also that after moses fled Egypt, I think he went to Ethiopia at some point I think this is mentioned in the apocrypha and he temporarily became king of Ethiopia through an agreement to marry one of the Ethiopian Kings daughters and this is also similar to how gyro went and founded the ngl after leaving his home. Maybe the way the chimera ants attacked the ngl and other countries is meant to be a reference to the ten plagues? We know nothing of him. It’s honestly genius! Togashis main focus wasn’t even gyro lmao. The character development and anticipation for being the most insane/best villain is the best part about him. It’s all a mystery. He might come back or not but if he does it’s going to be insane trust me

      @@cristianrojas800 we know quite a lot about him, his motivation and approach is already clearly explained, he got treated like shit and feels dehumanized thus urges to end humanity, if he´s now a chimera ant, yeah of course he´ll be a serious threat, but i find his writing boring, he just wanna see humanity go down, that´s pretty much it.
      Meruem was genius, born to rule, forfilling his purpose, learns about the world, questions his role, falls in love with a lower being, developing empathy, finds meaning in life, such a transition
      Gyro already developed before he makes his real entry, i can´t see how you wanna bring more depth to him other than being evil for being mistreated by his father
      and additionally i think, he´s one of Togashis loose ends

      @@gaiav.7511 Welfin and Ikalgo's character development isn't adding anything to Gyros writing, maybe motivated by Gyro's impression on Welfin, but still Welfin's development and btw happening while Gyro is completely absent.
      How you wanna give Character development to Gyro?
      Born good, turned evil over massive disappointment, now being evil for the sake of being evil, every step you wanna take away from his current Character (which is only towards more empathy I guess) makes him less Villain and only reverses his prior transition imo

    why would gyro leave meruem to rule over Ngl, after trying so hard to get to that point. He made a foundation just to leave it behind...

    • @apeesteranime2956
      @apeesteranime2956  2 года назад +6

      I have a few ideas, but they’re all kinda built off the idea that Gyro wants to be in control and doesn’t want to bow down to anyone else. He cares more about what the kingdom can do rather than what it stands for if that makes sense. He left NGL because he didn’t want to conform to the ant hierarchy, and wouldn’t be able to do what he wants. But from the little we know, once the ants took over Gyro seems to have thought his kingdom was lost and was ready to restart.

    • @jfjgbjxkdb3285
      @jfjgbjxkdb3285 2 года назад +1

      @@apeesteranime2956 yeah but that would leave the potential of meruem and the fact that given enough time he would be able to rule the world. Gyro was aware of his potential for the fact of being an ant and should have known that his plans would be cut short sooner or later.

      there is this theory in RUclips of Meleron being Gyro, although it's little bit of a long shot it's still fun to think about and you should make a video about it, to just disprove it if nothing else.

    • @apeesteranime2956
      @apeesteranime2956  2 года назад +1

      @@jfjgbjxkdb3285 to reply to both points cause you raise very interesting questions. My answer would be Gyro either knew somehow (emphasize the somehow) that muruem would be defeated. Or he was sure that he would have enough time to build his kingdom and become strong enough Muruem wouldn’t matter. We also have the possibility Gyro didn’t even really think about Muruem because at the time he hadn’t been born yet I believe, so he was avoiding the ants as a whole not really Muruem himself. But all we know for sure is Gyro wasn’t worried about anything except restarting his Kingdom, whether he thought about the threats the ants posed is unknown, all we can do is speculate. Then because a few people brought up Meleron I’ll probably dive into that theory some time soon.
