A running theme in HxH seems to be that the strongest creatures are more primal and obsessed, with a mostly amoral compass. Basically, behaving more like elevated animals. If Nen stems mainly from exercising your will, it would make sense that having no restrictions beyond the ones you give yourself would go hand in hand with that. Hunters embody that.
I think Ging is the kind of guy who has a loose plan but improvises a lot. Really, I'd almost say that being able to improvise like that is a sign of even greater intelligence than creating a perfect plan. It's also a sign of proficiency in nen battling. In nen, you never know your opponent's ability nor what they're gonna do with it until it happens. He's probably a master of coming up with effective strategies in split seconds, which makes him very dangerous.

this is purely hypothetical but what if ging knows paristons nen ability and it has something to do with having power over someone, so that’s why ging wants to be no. 2
I believe Ging wasn't really trying to win Pariston's crew over, but rather just trying to make Pariston lose 'em. To sow some chaos into Pariston's plan. The problem with a perfect plan like how I see Pariston does, is a little doubt & hesitation from variables (crews/situations) creates opportunities for someone like Ging to exploit. Since these doubts/hesitations is random, not even Pariston could take all of them into account. That would be annoying for Pariston, well at least to me, I would be very annoyed. And on that note, maybe Ging does have something like Luck related nen ability, like how Kite's was. Or gambling odds and he is just trying to tilt the odds to his favor.
By any chance do you think Ging may want them to accept the money because it coincides with a condition of using his Nen ability? Like for his ability to work he has to make them an offer they can't refuse
I like how you said gin nice enough to stop Pariston there's so much bad that gin has done and with us being on this arc for so long made me start thinking he always did stuff for the greater good lol

I don't think ging is malicious with these plans its just that's how he normally thinks so he doesn't deem it as anything special, so it probably seems spur of the moment for him but was actually very well thought out.
Mmmm I wouldn’t call it forced to. Ging wanted to continue his life as a hunter and didn’t have time to raise a kid so he dropped Gon off on whale island. Mito mentions that she made Ging give up Gon. But there’s nothing she could do to force him to give up Gon if he didn’t want to. Either way Ging chose to leave his son with someone and not be involved in his sons life. So either way he abandoned Gon.
Bro…this video was amazing and well articulate. Thank you for taking the time to analyze and give personal commentaries. I wanna start following you but I gotta ask first…do you also think of Gon as the evil selfish sociopathic protagonist he’s treated as on the internet. I’ve seen some of the most preposterous notions against Gons character that are stupid and don’t hold any merit or evidence and it pisses me off cuz after the Chimera Ant arc he’s been my favorite shonen character of all time. Do you think the same as the rest of the internet?
Ooo good question, maybe it’s something I’ll expand on in a later video. But in short I think calling him a sociopath or psychopath isn’t quite accurate. He’s certainly selfish but not necessarily in the evil way some people think he is. He’s not selfish for evil or bad reasons. He’s selfish in a childish way, and as a child he goes through many emotions without much guidance on how to manage them. He’s left dealing with all these emotions on his own, and dealing with them with his own power. So without making this an essay, no I don’t think Gon is the evil selfish sociopath some make him out to be. I think people get close to what’s really going on but stop too soon if that makes sense.
@@apeesteranime2956 bruv…you speaking facts from the heavens…with the slight movement in togashis work recently I look forward to your content in the future. Keep up the great work and thanks
To enter the dark continent you need to sign a contract with a "guide". So ging wants to be number 2 so he can be the one signing that contract and not pariston
I think he's kinda like those isekai mages or overpowered mages who experiments and copies abilities as he was just like playing with his nen. testing his talents. As he have no proper ability to begin with aside from his specialist ability that togashi still hasn't reveal yet. In which i strongly believes in "chronokinesis". Then as a veteran and genius hunter he all have the experiences, strategy, critical thinkings and the wits.
I don't care what you would say about Ging, and in the up coming arcs he's going to show you why is O.G triple triple. Most of the time when gon and Ging talked with your friends and go back to your roots his hometown Gons not done in this manga either is Kilauea to most liked character s? Let me know what you think. I think Gon well get his nen back and if the killer clown survives the dark continent trip and Gon get older and stronger I can see a serious rematch the killer clown wants to fight gone at full power if you can't tell that then you haven't watched the show lol

What if Ging is not playing dumb. What if when he says he doesn't remember as to how money was brought up or etc, that there is a true reason. Such as a hidden split side of him. Maybe split personality. One that shows the diplomatic side. One is the aggressive side. Or when part of him is negotiating, the aggressive portion is not privy to what happens so he wouldn't recall the specifics of that window of time. Just spitballing potentials
Ging says he imitates because he guesses the mechanics behind an ability without exhausting his nen memory on them. His guesses behind their mechanics are just that accurate.

Overall a really great video, good work! I did want to say though… I’m not 100% sure why you continue to say Ging isn’t a good person; I think he uses the necessary force required to put people in their place, and he has never been malicious in all of his actions. When you have that much power, and that much instinct (passed down to Gon no doubt) of course he will display his dominance so people understand he can’t be manipulated easily. “Abandoning his son” on the face of it sounds horrible, but I interpret it as giving Gon the chance at a normal life. If Gon was ever to accompany Ging (one of the strongest nen individuals in the HxH universe) he would need to be strong in his own right. Ging gave Gon the opportunity to become strong through the hints he left Gon (greed island etc). Ging probably recognizes his own power, and knows it’s his responsibility to be a force against the deadly things in the HxH world, so he can’t retire to raise Gon. PS. this is coming from someone who was raised with both parents so I could never understand the pain of living without a father, and I guess I can see why that alone makes him distasteful to a lot of people. Anyway, love the HxH content, it’s easily my favorite series!
I think pariston planned everything everything he needs gin for something we don't know yet an allowing gin to find out all that cause him to follow pariston an that's exactly what he wanted

My defense shall be it’s cause he’s in everyone’s business, next video is on someone brand new tho and pariston is keeping to himself lol
The best Deadbeat I’ve ever seen 🤝🏾
Great video again can’t wait till u can have new chapter analysis, keep up the great work
Thanks for the consistent quality uploads
Love to hear your analysis
Hxh is definitely one of if not my favorite anime ever and you are covering it pretty well, I don't read manga like at all so it's nice to see or hear lol what's going on in videos like this. Also for your sub count this video was done very well i.hope you continue to grow gg, God bless
Thank you thank you, reading the manga is not for everyone but the story is so I just here to share it.
Hey APeester, I just wanted to say that your content is such a pleasure to watch. I love intuitive you are and how you can pick up on things that at least I never noticed. I personally have been waiting until someone covered Ging’s interaction with Pariston and beyond’s crew and I’m glad that someone was you
that punch ging used on one of beyonds guys could of been something he got hit with and he just replicated
Ging is clever and highly intelligent, he may be uneducated on some aspects of life but at least he's wise
Great video bro as much as i disagree with something's you did a spectacular job nun the less.🔥
I’ll tell you what dude! Your voice doesn’t annoy me and that’s big. I listened to the whole video. I like how you break topics down. Keep it up
"This beautiful elvish looking dude" lol that got me
So grateful for you putting this video and thoughts together 🙏
Gin is not bad he just lives his life his way is that simple
He is still a bad father who never love his son Gon. At least Leorio does care about Gon.
I love your analysis!
Apologies for the inconvenience, I’ve started creating anime edits and was wondering if you’d mind checking them out. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
Longer videos are awesome! Keep it up
This channel is great!!
I just watched this amazing video only to find about that you only have 5k subs. I was expecting the number to be way over 200k, you’re gonna be huge within the community very soon
Appreciate it my friend
I love this kind of content. Thank you for doing this!!!!!!!
If you don’t remember killua did the same thing to sadaso after he broke his promise. He visualized what would of happened to him.
Apologies for the inconvenience, I’ve started creating anime edits and was wondering if you’d mind checking them out. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
this is purely hypothetical but what if ging knows paristons nen ability and it has something to do with having power over someone, so that’s why ging wants to be no.
Amazing job! Can’t wait for the chapters that are coming our way, finally some content to give our imagination some rest lol
By any chance do you think Ging may want them to accept the money because it coincides with a condition of using his Nen ability?
Like for his ability to work he has to make them an offer they can't refuse
Please more of these long videos.
The Ging Pariston rivalry is my favorite aspect of the story rn.
I like how you said gin nice enough to stop Pariston
there's so much bad that gin has done and with us being on this arc for so long made me start thinking he always did stuff for the greater good lol
Gokule!!
I love how you start the video off with the title Ging is most known for
I mean he earned it.....you must respect someone with their title 🤣
LETS GET IT BOYS GING FREECS DISCUSSION 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great videos I love them your description and I think your analysis is spot-on do good job question how old is Gin?
Also remember when gon and Kelawa "names spelling I know"
Or each one in 10,000,000 or something what do you suppose Gin is
One-in-a-billion?
Anyway nuff said you have convinced me I will subscribe, like and comment on your videos so
keep them coming!!!!!

I don't think ging is malicious with these plans its just that's how he normally thinks so he doesn't deem it as anything special, so it probably seems spur of the moment for him but was actually very well thought out.
If I remember. Ging did not abandon Gon. He was forced to. Just read the manga.
So Ging is pretty much a gigachad. Not surpising, he's a super upgraded Gon. Dude's like, "I run this!"
yh, he is essentially an adult gon. just instinct and vibes
Very good thinking
I think he's kinda like those isekai mages or overpowered mages who experiments and copies abilities as he was just like playing with his nen. testing his talents. As he have no proper ability to begin with aside from his specialist ability that togashi still hasn't reveal yet. In which i strongly believes in "chronokinesis". Then as a veteran and genius hunter he all have the experiences, strategy, critical thinkings and the wits.
WTH this was good
I don't care what you would say about Ging, and in the up coming arcs he's going to show you why is O.G triple triple.

Does anyone think it's possible that the zoldyck family is based on the addams family or munsters, potential parallels could be:
Killua - Eddie Munster
Kalluto - Wednesday Addams
Kikyo Zoldyck - morticia addams/lily munster
Silva Zoldyck - IDK TBH 😅😅😅
Milluki - Pugsley Addams
Maha Zoldyck - Uncle Fester
Illumi - IDK TBH😅😅😅
Allukah - cousin Itt
Zeno Zoldyck - Grandpa Munster/Sam Dracula
Gotoh - Lurch
Amazing video i hope hxh Will resume again
Excellent!
Ging has a big brain, but ironically his son is 1 of the simple minded hunters in the world.
I will stand on my soapbox and say GING ISNT A BAD DAD!
Ging says he imitates because he guesses the mechanics behind an ability without exhausting his nen memory on them. His guesses behind their mechanics are just that accurate.
I want to see Ging on 100 in a fight
It’s gonna be a while but it’s gonna happen and I can’t wait.
😔
Ging saying that it is not a hierarchy of power indicates that Mariám is the strongest member there
Great vids, need more.
Pariston probably has some reincarnation ability
Ging time altering ability seems like a opposite of tsurreidnichs hatsu that sees the future. Gings sounds like it projects a future.
That sounds freaking awesome 😍😎
The editing for these is golden. Oh look! It's the same image of Ging except this time it's sliding!
Hey, what happened to your ch 391 review? Did it get taken down?
Yep :(
@@apeesteranime2956 dang, I didn't even get to watch it.
you should make a video on old theories that were true or even didn't pan out. would be really interesting to see a history of information on HxH
What if Pariston's ability is based on how much influence he has?(like chimera ants, vice president, number 2 etc.)
I am convinced after this recap that Ging's nen affinity is Specialization.
I am also convinced that Bungee Gum truly does have the properties of both rubber and gum.
Can you do a video on the connection between Gon and Gyro
33:10
Keep in mind Jenny is worth about as much as Yen which is about one cent so Ging isn't paying 3 billion to 25 people he is paying a total of 750 million between 25 people
Does anyone think it's possible that the story and themes of hunter x hunter may be inspired by pinocchio? What if gon wanting to become a hunter and his transformation are inspired by pinocchio wanting to and becoming a real boy which in pinocchios case is meant to symbolise his maturation) in the case of gon when he transforms, his realisation that life isn't fair, the good guys don't always win and the world can be a cruel place, and when gons realises this and transforms he feels a sense of freedom and relief because he doesn't care anymore about life and this may be a dark twisted way of mirroring pinocchios transformation and pinocchios desires to not want to be a puppet and to have no strings attached, not only gon pre chimera ant is portrayed as being a naive happy go lucky individual very similar to how pinocchio is before all the lessons he learns, and in the pinocchio book and film pinocchio is deceived by a talking cat (multiple times in the book and on one ocassion leads to pinnochios dying and him having to be resurrected by the blue fairy) which is similar to how gon feels like pitou a talking betrayed him by not healing kite qnd how gon defeating pitou also led to gon essentially dying and needing to be resurrected by a wish granting being (meaning maybe allukah could represent the blue fairy from pinocchio) and at the end of pinocchio in order for him to become a real boy he has to save his father from a giant whale qnd ging is currently on the black whale ship, so if my theory is true then maybe gon has to rescue at some point in the story in a way that involves him getting to the dark continent. Kites death and reincarnation as a chimera ant which gon blames himself for maybe a reference to pinocchio hanging around lampwick who was a trouble maker and bad influence on pinocchio who ended up getting turned into a donkey qnd getting killed and eaten. Kites death being used to show gon that the chimera ants are no joke and are serious threat maybe a reference how lampwicks fate was used to show pinocchio he needs to take his life seriously. Also in another one of my theories I said that gyros animal /ant form could be based on a self aware like a dolphin and a dolphin is essentially a bootleg whale so maybe the proverbial whale gon may have to save his father from is gyro. Also the whale symbolism doesn't just stop with the black whale ship, but is furthered by the fact that gon is literally from "Whale" Island
helo i want to ask what Beyond means when he said "capacity means contract" at chapter 345 ?
Ging freecs is pressure about the world will end he nees to find the boy.
this video go hard asf
Overall a really great video, good work! I did want to say though…
I’m not 100% sure why you continue to say Ging isn’t a good person; I think he uses the necessary force required to put people in their place, and he has never been malicious in all of his actions.
Did you delete the 391 chapter reaction?
no it unfortunately got taken down but Ima try to reupload it along with a chapter 392 reaction
@@apeesteranime2956 Be careful I saw another Ytuber with a strike for 391 & 392 reactions. I think it might be safer if you only do voice over random pictures for these reactions.
Ging is like goku and vegeta mixed 💯🔥🔥
The best kind of mix
Killua used a similar tactic in Heaven's Arena when the one armed guy saw a knife go through his face
Lol. Just randomly got recommended the channel and he needs 1.25 playback speed to sound normal.
Also the d.c sounds like whenever they do go there somebodys favorite is going to die there.there's no way everybodys coming back
Oh yea a lot of fans are gonna be upset but I’m kind of excited for people to start dropping dead idk if that’s an unpopular opinion.
@@apeesteranime2956 For some reason it makes the anime better when things like that happens.makes it more exciting and out of your seat
Considering he was a ruins hunter shows what he may have been looking for ancient knowledge about nen and the dark continent.
ging is a chaotic neutral.
0:00 Did you say amazing father?
(Still watching, halfway through), btw, Pariston himself said that he isn’t very physically strong during the Chairman Election arc, I think he even said he’s one of the weakest of the Zodiacs? So, I don’t think he’s anywhere near Ging’s level, and he knows it.
0:14 🗿☕🎶
Ging: chaotic neutral
