  • Israel's latest evacuation order for Khan Younis and Rafah has put approximately 250,000 Palestinians in a precarious position, forcing them to choose between relocating to areas with scarce resources and services or remaining in their homes where intense fighting is expected.
This order, affecting about a third of the Gaza Strip, is the largest of its kind since October and has been deemed an "impossible choice" by UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric.
The evacuation order comes as Israeli forces continue their offensive in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in at least eight fatalities, according to Palestinian health officials.
The situation has sparked widespread concern and urgency, with the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) scrambling to respond to the humanitarian crisis.
