Guy Pierce is a great actor. Incredibly underrated and criminally underused. L.A. Confidential was his first big movie and what a great movie that was.

Aosc2 what Micheal bay does with explosions, Nolan does with character development. Anyone that reads books as a hobby knows that in order to be engaged enough to finish a book, it has to have interesting characters with likable traits.

No, because the movie wasn't playing in reverse, it showed scenes normally but the scenes were not chronologically correct (they were inversed). The whole backwards talking at the start of this video was faulty.

Memento is not just moving backwards it actually going to the middle of the story. Flashbacks in the film move forward. Brilliant film

I was one of those hipsters who saw Memento in the local art theater, literally before Christopher Nolan was cool. Though i can't brag about seeing Following until several years later on Netflix.
Also, Jonathan Nolan created Person of Interest, so that guy is okay in my book with or without his brother.
As much as I love Christopher Nolan films, really The Dark Knight Rises Inception AND The Dark Knight over Citizen Kane?
Why? The style of filmmaking has changed a lot. IMDb ratings are fan based and they are free to like whatever they want.

I've been saying this for years. Great movie, but there are 2 major plothole. If he can't make new memories, then how does he remember that he will forget, and that his wife is dead? The last thing he should remember is her assault, but he would have no memory of whether she survived or not, or that his brain is damaged from the attack.
