Hey Dave, from my humble german point of view it`s super technical brilliant but has little groove. I´d suggest you to have some "The Aristocrats" instead. Their live performance of "Bluesfuckers" in Japan is such a joy. As well as everything they are doing !

Sick drumming. Cool stuff Drummer is so nonchalant. He needs to "act it up a little" to make people think he's trying or make some "Buddy Rich" type faces. Anyhoot, Here's a funk number Dave can check, Dr Funk - Roadrunner (Live at Cube). It has some slappin bass and keyboardist looks like Mr. Willis (white Neighbor) from the Jeffersons.
