Recently got into computers. Was going to buy a pre made one but after watching this im going to make my own
Yes way better. And cheaper. My first was a pre built.
Personally I would go with the GTX 1660 TI just because you can find them for the exact same price on eBay and 1660 TI has a little bit more fps
@@Tyler-ht3qp or a rx 6600 those getting cheaper and cheaper
@@tofutofu6268 but as he said no encoder which means recording/streaming your games would be harder unless ofc u dont want to
@@ItsAsif I believe the rx 6600 does have an encoder, it is the lower cards that don't such as the rx 6500xt and rx 6400
Man. You and Dawid are top tier with the humor and editing. I follow a lot of tech channels, I don't know how I haven't found you before.
Here is a like and a sub.
Marcus you make such a great build videos and love the energy too keep it up!
Thank you centric I've recently built my first gaming pc and it really wouldn't of happened without your advice and your videos
Just did a budget build for a friend of mine with a 12100f. It's a hell of a budget CPU. Paired it with a 5700xt. All in, the rig was $580.
damn thats a great build for 600$
Can you tell me what was in it
12100f with stock cooler
MSI Bazooka B660M (was on sale)
Team group mp33 1tb
MSI mech 2 5700xt (used)
Silicone Power RAM 2x8gb 3200 CL16
Thermaltake Smart 650w 80+ bronze
Thermaltake Versa H18
Excellent card for the price. I'm still impressed by the performance after having mine for 18 months
daaamn, good use of the budget
I just finished my RTX 3080 FE + Intel i7 build, and your videos like this were extremely helpful. I also followed your video on what to do AFTER your system successfully posts. You’re fantastic! Keep up the great work!
Thanks Marcus, this is just the video i needed :)
My 10-year-old stumbled on your videos during his research (mostly for Minecraft and WoW). This one fits as it is a budget/start-up. The cost for us in New Zealand should be around $1900NZD, still higher than I'd planned, but it means that we can upgrade components as he gets older. Not bad by the look of the games that you play in your conclusion. I've costed this based on the i5 not the i3 (welcome any comments on that). Nice work, thanks.
I didn't buy it, but I was thinking about i5, too, for a long term capable support.
Respect for trying to do so Much for your child
bro he wants to play minecraft and some games for gtx 1660super
with gtx 1660super
we can play all triple a title games
gta 5 remoded
gta rp
far cry series , ac series etc

This is really cool man im working on getting a job right now to save up for a pc and i watch these videos to learn
I've been in this game for over 20 years, watched countless youtubers and you're definitely my favorite , obviously I'm highly experienced but you explain things in such a simple way, it's helping so many new builders....and i still get great information from your vids, keep it up !!!
I just found your channel and I already love it you don’t go too fast and I love the layout of your videos! (:
Joined the discord yesterday and I love the comminity!
Was literally just watching the last budget build, with the itx cooler master case with the big ass fan in the front 😂
You can actually get a budget GPU now 🥰
swapped my ancient i3 6100 for this cpu and its an absolute beast, those consistent frametimes make a huge difference even when playing on the same fps as before
Lol the 6100 is only from 2015… try playing on an i7-4770
@@WowieSeagulltry my i3 3rd gen😂
@@WowieSeagull ??? your i7 4770 with 4 cores 8 threads will shit on the i3 6100 with 2 cores and 4 threads in any modern game, even more so in eSports games that are CPU intensive.
@@edwardchen9286 i have an i7-4770 and its not even that bad like what
@@grittedit's not even that bad bro, I'm also using the same cpu, coupeld with an 750ti, then later on upgraded to a 1060 6gb (I know overkill) but i can play most of the ps4 era games just fine.
Also games such as God of war, rdr 2, days gone, spiderman remastered, and ac valhalla runs just fine.
Great build and video!
Excited for another video! Thanks again for your hard work!! 👍
That peel though! Very fun video!
Those RGB panels on the wall are magical 😋. I see you changed the PC Centric ones 😂
Great video as always, Marcus
Great build Marcus!
Finally my parents bought me the parts and I’m so excited to build it. So excited just had to tell everyone In the comments
it was very good, if im honest id like to see more builds like this, sometimes i feel like your other budget ones aren’t actually that “budget”
I agree. He just did a "best gaming cpu" video and didnt mention the 5800x3D or any of the newer i9s because he said it was just the company "marketing" it that way and they were just the fastest like if it doesnt mean they would be better for gaming lol. AMD literally added more L3 cache for gaming specific reasons. Faster=Better
Budget builds are the best videos on the channel without a doubt
This case is so good. Great price , good quality.
The best case so far in 2022 👍
What’s the name of the case because I’m trying to find it but I can’t
Hey man. I cannot seem to find that specific case on amazon anymore. Can you suggest a similar one that could fit all the parts and would be as easy to set up as the one you got in the vid? I’m planning on building my very first own gaming pc following this video and your guidance. Thanks bro much appreciated!
Good work
Good build mate. Would you not spend the extra few quid on the non F SKU and get the excellent Intel decoder performance?
Hey! I am having lots of issues with my old setup. I just upgraded to a GTX 1660 from a 1050ti. Now my I7-6700k is having trouble keeping up at 60 FPS and is overloading for sure. Would you recommend this setup (motherboard, CPU and maybe some Corsair Dominator RAM) paired with the 1660 you have in the video that I got.
This is most likely the build that I'm going to do(1660 super with i3 12100f). Thx!!
Budget builds are the best!!
I could listen to this guy talk for hours haha seems cool. I like the videos a lot.
I like, looking for a budget rig, very budget so keeping an eye out for when they drop a little more.
Amazing 🤩
Will an rtx 2060 work with the build?
Your video’s are awesome! I do think you should do a video about Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) software for all the people upgrading gpu’s going from team red to team green or vice versa and then having worse performance than their previous lower grade card and the importance of clearing out old drivers to prevent conflicts.
so many videos on that already
thank god prices for gpus are actually somewhat logical now, and hopefully continue to drop for the rest of the year
Any recommendations for a build switching from Xbox series x to pc? I’m wanting to get into pc games and getting better frame rate is more important than 4K for me atm
If u make any budget build fit a rx6600 in there it will always give value u could have sqeazed a bit of the budet for 50 more and get a rx6600
Awesome video pc centric 😎 since we getting new gen graphics cards soon , can you redo a rtx 3060 ti build , but the perfect value ( price to performance ) build
hey bro i love your content, please i have a driver issue with my pc some error code 43, have you experienced it before?, if so what is the solution. Thanks for your help in advance.
thankyouu
Will this build also work with a dual-fan 1660 Super?
Nice! I've been waiting so long for this video! Keep up the excellent work!! 😄
But... Could you do a review of PC Building Simulator? And maybe, in the future, even PC Building Simulator 2, as this is something that I've been planning to buy, to also learn even more about PC components and building!! Thanks! See you next time!
Thank you pc centric I love the budget builds. I built an i3 with a 2060 and I stream and game on it. Works pretty good
Does it bottleneck because you use an i3 because I want to buy that combination
It’s hasn’t yet cpu usage gets in the high 80’s. I have obs studio open and few other apps open.
If u wanna come check out my stream I stream on twitch @Ltrain20217 to see how it performs. Lmk
@@ltrain8086 and does it fit well with the 2060
Yes I get 120 fps on medium settings on 1080p
What is the software being used to show FPS and temps etc?
Thank you so much
ok i need some help,i got this cooler but my motherboard only has 4 pin RGB connector is there any thing out there i can get to convert it into the 3 pin header ..
Hey how are i m watching like a year. And i watch every video. And i love since you do videos but i especially love budget one this one is fire🧠💥
i already have a sabrent rocket 4 ssd for my ps5 would i be able to take it out and use it in this pc?
This is the kind of video I wish I had a couple of years ago.
How would I replace it with a new graphics card or cpu?
Why did you plug a 6+ 2 into your GPU, mine is connected by a regular 8 pin?
Hey. Are you able to build a pc to play escape from tarkov please ? That's the game I really want to play but would like to know what is a good build to play it on. Thank you
Hi can you use any case with the part to put in it many thanks
do we have to upfate the BIOS when e buy a new motherboard ???
I honestly believe that those results are because of the motherboard , because when you have a good vrm and power disturbution you will get the best outcome of your component
bruh this cpu is using only 40w of power you don't need no fancy vrm's thats for overclockers.
thank you
Everything on that looks pretty good. I applaud going with air cooling. It's far more reliable and maintainable long term.
also if you are not waiting for 40 series nvidia, just buy now as gpu prices are down so much.
@@jamro15
I get paid in a couple days and I'm about to go for an RTX 3050 for my first build. I would think that's the most important thing to buy as soon as possible.
what about if i use a ryzen5 what motherboard should I get. for the build..
Does anyone know a m-itx mobo that is similarly priced?
I would love to buid a smaller version of PC Centrics build
Still rocking my 1660 super 💪
Epic😁
Still rocking my PNY 1660super single fan (american Palit ver) dont game much on it, as its in a secondary PC. but the low power consumption and it almost matches my 2060super im happy with it!
whats the best ssd for gaming thats under 60 dollars and is sata connected?
Nice build
You didn't even watched the vid...
i gest finish my build but only diferene is /i put moterboard b660 gaming X and rams fury rgb some problems at bios dont want to boot fron stick in usb 2 after 1 vhour trying to boot i swich on usb 3.2 port the stick and boot instantly .
I ended up doing this build with a 3060 and also added a wifi/bluetooth card
I love how hes just flexing the pallit 3090 ti on the shelf
Im getting my Pc tomorrow. Spec rtx 3080 ryzen 5800x. Do you guys think that I should go with 1080p or 1440p?
Is it a problem if the pc case does not have usb type c
I feel like if you truly want a budget build that you can upgrade and keep up to date you need the asus rog strix z690-e gaming DDR 5 motherboard. Maybe a $800 build that you can upgrade for the next 5 to 7 years.
I can't find the area where you put the second pin for the cooler
Amazing video. But I can't find the case anywhere. Only in America but then it like 20 pound shipping. What could I do?
its on amazon
The i5 should have pre applied thermal paste right?
Can anybody help with some advice for me as I'm very torn with what to do around building my first PC. Do I get a used 3060ti or 3070 now from eBay so I can begin my build and game or do I wait till the 40 series to drop and buy a 5600g or 5700g as a place holder till then so I can still play games on low settings. Any help or advice would be appreciated!
40 series are delayed till December. Mid range 40 series won’t be out until next year and even then u won’t know if they will be scalped or not. So unless ur willing to wait another year for ur pc then getting used amphere is the way to go
gpu prices are going down should I buy a series s or build a budget pc next year
Great Video😀👍 but a quick question: does the motherboard also support a wireless wifi connection?
Yes, the motherboard has wireless connection as you can see the antenna port at the motherboard I/O
Hey all! Quick question. So if I have a corsair 750w power supply at the moment, and I’m wondering if I try to throw it in this rig, what motherboard/cpu combo would be compatible + have a little higher frames? I already have a budget pc but I’m stuck with an i7-3300 and I’m lookin for small upgrades lol
12100f + 6650xt!!!
@@elfsa603 I ended up with a b660-M ASU motherboard and a i5 12600k :) thanks friend!!
@@Caige- ohh)) it's good choice
What would be a good amd ryzen 5 motherboard?
Can anyone tell me how my guy is able to get 65°C temp for the GPU? Is it the climate or a result of the case he uses? I get 70°+ on Ultra performance across most games, even on Fortnite low infact.
could i use gtx 1660 super on i5-13600k or R5 7600x
If I change the motherboard to b 450
Is it GOOD 👍🤔
I was thinking about building the enthusiast intel build provided by pc part picker guides and wondering if anyone here would help me with input on parts that may have better alternatives than the ones listed on their guide
the i7-12700k is the perfect middle for the 12th gen intels. price to performance is excellent. As for cooling, you can get a Corsair H100i which is a 240mm aio cooler for only 10-20 USD more than the air cooler listed by part picker in the build. MOBO is up to you really. The one listed is fine and will do the trick but personally I'd say go something more premium for a LGA1700 that way you don't feel the need to upgrade it later. Having a great LGA1700 board will keep you from wanting more usb slots on the i/o plus the possibility of upgrading to multiple Gen4 m.2 drives down the line. You'll spend roughly 50-100 more on it but it'll be worth it down the line. As far as RAM what is listed it's up to what you plan to do. IF you want to build for gaming and gaming only then starting out with just 2x8 16GB of DDR4 3200 CL16 will be just fine and you can upgrade whenever you feel like without worry (mind you, pay attention to the mobo you look to buy and make sure it supports DDR5, many new Z690s are going DDR5 only). IF you want to do things like video editing or streaming then 2x16 32GB of DDR4 3600 CL16 would be a better alternative although costing a bit more. The brand and such is totally up to you, just don't go with the cheapest thing you see, pay attention to quality not just price. I highly recommend getting a good speed Gen4 m.2 of at least 1-2TB and then you can obviously get more storage down the line if you need to. It's pricey but worth it in the long run due to the storage space alone and the speeds it can run. Case is up to you but take size of the card and radiator from aio into effect, personally the Corsair 4000x is or 4000D is one of the best cases you can get right now and you can get it with 3 decent SP120 RGB Elite fans ready to go for you, aio comes with 2 and if you realllllyyyyy cared you could get an extra fan to put at the rear for exhaust but it's not a necessity obviously. GPU wise, 3070ti is great, i have one myself but as i said before it depends on what you want to do. Gaming alone it's fine. Gaming and streaming/recording at high quality game settings plus high capture settings you'll see a decent frame drop due to the 8gb vram. i run a 10900k and 3070ti and the gpu bottlenecks me if I'm live. a 3080 10GB or a 6900XT 16GB are roughly 700-800 USD so that's only a 150ish price increase for about 22% performance boost with the 3080 10GB and 16% increase for the 6900xt. PSU just get a reputable brand, 850W 80+ Gold Cert will do you fine for a long time. Hope my long ass comment has been a help! The changes i suggest will put you at around 2200 USD btw but will be, based on userbenchmark as i look at it at this very second, 40% better for gaming, same for desktop since it's the same cpu, and 45% better as a workstation aka recording/streaming. Again i hope this helped, any questions lemme know :)
@@RawNomelVODS i7 12700k is not worth it. To me it seems like you just got a lot of money but don't really know anything else. The i5 12600KF is perfectly fine for anyone and Im pretty sure if someone is watching a "budget Gaming PC" video they're not looking to get a i7 and RTX 3070/3080/RX6800XT
@@sportler777 I commented based on the fact that the OP was asking for input on what would be better compared to the "enthusiast intel build" SPECIFICALLY, and was giving my input on what he could do in general to make it a little better based on current price to performance. I agree the i5 12600KF is a great cpu. It will do wonders for the average joe. i7 12700k was simply already listed in the build he was asking about. Personally i don't find there is a reason to get either of them right now with 13th gen coming around the corner. He wasn't asking about a budget PC my friend. He could be like me who watches all of PC Centrics videos because he has great vids and we like to watch him. Again, the PC listed on PCPartPicker that the OP was asking about has a 3070ti listed so i simply gave my personal experience with the card and gave some alternatives. Also my friend, no reason to insult someone who was simply trying to help someone and simply commented about the exact thing they asked about. Obviously you didn't look at the OP's comment or even look to see what he was referring to. All the info i stated in my original comment was based on actual benchmarks, not just pulling it out of my ass but i digress. Best wishes to you :)
Pure legend
i swapped cases and felt like i built a new pc, lol. gotta upgrade my cpu and gpu soon.
I did actually have an explosive psu 750w 80+gold from gigabyte but thankfully i couldnt get a gpu so i only had a gtx 560 ti inside which broke very quickly. As soon as i saw Steve's video i returned my psu.
I had one "pop" a couple years back while playing Beamng. Scared the bejesus out of me.
Would a 1660 Super be able to drive a 1440p monitor?
Do u think it would be ok with a i3 10100f
Hey Please make a video on pc build with rx 6600 and i5 12400f with lowest possible price including 16 gb RAM
Intel Core i3-12100f pair with 1660 super bottleneck or not? pls answer, thanks
I have the best budget build. A 10320 and a 1650 Super gets me 100 FPS in most games at 1080P Medium settings.
I’m a 30year old, total noob on pcs so I guess I’ll just hang around your channel for while 😅 im tired of consoles, im ready to join the 👑
You need to start testing the performance in the latest call of duty multiplayer games
So how much is the price
Could you replace a better graphics card in this build? For example an RTX one.
Rtx 3060 or RX 6600
will 600w psu be enough for rtx 3060 ?
My motherboard only has two ram slots. Will it still be fine to use 2x8 ram sticks or does it not matter?
I'd say invest in 2×16 ram sticks, especially if you'll be using the PC for many years, but if your planning on replacing your pc with a completely different build within the next 6 years, I'd say just use the 2×8 ram sticks.
does nvidia is still producing 1660 super ?
Can I upgrade my ram to 16gb from 8gb? Its an old model.
I really want to have an inexpensive build for my 1st. What cpu/gpu could get me 144fps for apex medium to low settings
12100 3050 will be more than enough
Get 12400 if you want to be a bit future proof
