I remember seeing this in my local bike shop when I was younger & always said I I wanted one but I never got the chance of getting one . Now that I got a promotion a work i’m definitely on the hunt for the frameset to go with my 08 cannondale capo.
Not my favorite era with those colors and large decals but damn this wheelset, the large flange dura ace is one a the best looking ever and laced to those velocity, fire!
@@waveywheelies It’s a super nice bike so far. I wouldn’t say it’s the stiffest or twitchiest bike, but it rides really nice on the road. Plus it’s pretty light
@@waveywheelies I see alot of open pros, for sure and some H-plus but I swear velocity are so tough..I’ve wrecked incredibly hard they have cam out unscathed
I’ve been told that Sugino 75 cranks use a proprietary taper called SG75, apparently it’s most similar to ISO. I’ve seen people use JIS and ISO with no issues so not sure what the better one out of the two is 🤔
Hello. I have the exact same bike with the original Omnium crankset. Want to upgrade to the Sugino 75 crankset but I can't find the right bottom bracket for it to fit this frame and have a good alignment with the rear cog. Can you please help with sharing what exact bottom bracket did you put it (size and all)?
As usual you knocked it out of the park! I tried my hand at my own build video a couple weeks back with this same frame, but I clearly have some more work to do. 😅 Keep up the good work!
Hey, what are those little built in crank puller things and where did you get them? My NX sram DUB crank set on my mountain bike uses something very similar but I can’t seem to find them in the internet. Are they simply a part of the crank set or bottom bracket? Please let me know, thanks 🙏
All the nos aus velocity riims I've found are raw or white, nice work finding black anodized. Don't buy the USA versions BTW, they aren't heat treated and crack within a year
@@waveywheelies 5:01 needed my binoculars, "born in Ausfalia" and no "heat treated" stickers means they are definitely USA made versions. They used the same bending rollers and anodising tanks that the aus factory built but the aluminium profiles are a different source and no post heat treatment. There are some USA factory tour videos online to watch
What crank would you have gone for? Interestingly these frames all came fitted with the BSA adapter and the completes came stock with Omniums with a BSA GXP

A bike build and a wheel build? We were really in for a treat in this one 🔥 awesome build as always!
Finally a Cannondale, so cool!
There's just something about a fixie with riser bars thats really aesthetic to me. Love your vids btw man, keep up the good work❤
I am never disappointed with your builds, they are all incredible!
Cheers man, that means a lot🙏
One of my favourite frames along the Specialized Langster and and the Cinelli Mash Bolt 1.0. Thank you very much for this mate!
No worries, glad you enjoyed the build! The Mash Bolt is also one of my top 3 for sure!

Good luck for the hunt! the green ones seem the most common but the purple ones are pretty sweet too and do occasionally pop up
this is clean as hell and your cinematography has come such a long way love it man, by the way how does it ride
Ending off the year on a banger 🔥
your uploads feel like a treat !
glad you enjoy🙏
Stylish 🤙 looking good dude.
Thanks man! 🫡
So beautifully built

Cheers! yeah I agree with you about the hubs, some of my favourite too, hard to beat dura ace!
Good job. Nice machine
Beautiful build cool music Cannondales are really cool
Thanks✌️
Damm that is so fine!!😭😭🔥🔥
Thanks🙏
velocity rims are the best! great build
Just got one of these a few months ago; very hot bike 🔥
Awesome, how you finding it so far?

Hey Finally a new video:D!
Nice bike. That's a cool paint scheme
Cheers! yeah I love the raw fade
Man people knock that frameset colour but I think its total fire. Great build dude, looks like a total shredder!
Cheers man!🙏
Dream build
I never see velocity wheels builds anymore back in the day it was a staple
Still a go-to rim for me, just unfortunately not as common especially down her in NZ

Another nice build. If you dont mind me asking all these builds do you keep for yourselve or simply sell on .
yayy, new shoes!!!
haha yeah man, good spotting!
The crank bearing housing is modified? Normally this is BB30 with bearings directly inside the frame.
Did you get a new camera? The quality is absolutely insane!
Cheers! I got a new one roughly a year ago now! Went from a Canon 70d to a Sony a7iii
Campagnolo ISO bottom bracket spindle on JIS Sugino crank? Generally a no-no but should be an issue if you don't over-torque or reinstall constantly

Edit at the end with the riding is 🤌🏻. Unreal build as usual, love it!
Does anyone know, if it's possible to clean off the logos of the Rotor chainring with acetone?
btw.. be aware - this saddle will rub up your pants xD
Nice bike bro
those dustcaps on the crank. are they like the ones on sram omniums?
Yeah pretty similar! They make them self extracting, but I mainly use them for the look
You should grease in the self extractors as per instructions. When removing the bolt is grinding on the aluminium hard
is there any reasons why you dont choose hollowtech 2 for the drivetrain?

Hey! They are made by Blue Lug, search “Blue Lug Crank Cap” and they should pop up. They also do brass ones which are quite nice
@@waveywheelies thank you very much 🙏🙏
do you think it can be built with 28” tires?
love your videos! i wish i can ride fixed too!
Thanks! have you got a fixed gear? doesn’t take too long to get used to :)
What’s the handlebar model please
🔥🔥🔥
🙏
Donde se puede comprar algo asi, todo acero ?
What is the white grease you use?
Its finish line premium grease
Got a new upload for us this weekend?
What is the complete build specs??

Interesting! I believe these are the USA ones, must be from some of their first batches given the dates on the stickers

Do you still have the Titanium Mongoose frame?
Yep!

would have gone with a different crank, a bb30

I put a SRAm Red crank with a sugino 130 BCD CR on mine. Chain line isn’t /perfect/ but it’s good enough and mega light
New vid soon?
NO FREE WHEEL 😢
do a cervelo t1 next pleaseee 😊😊
If I can get my hands on one I will!🤞
niceeee
dura ace hubs go crazy
thanks! yeah I’m super happy with the hubs
