Thank you so much! I am a truck driver. Every animal I have will get this system. You guys are the best!! To keep the water in the bowl clean. Make square 2x4 platform covered with1/4 inch hardware cloth and place bowl in the center. Then closely encircle the bowl with fence wire that has 1 inch by 3 inch openings. This works because there feet aren’t on dirt to fling and there heads fit in well with no pooping in the water. I pray God blesses and keeps you in the upcoming times.

Do you live where it freezes? IF so, how do you keep it all from freezing? We live where we get freezing temps for aprox 3 months.

We live in south Texas, northeast of Houston. While we do get a few days of freezing temps some years, it's never bad enough that this 55 gallon drum would freeze solid. Just a layer of ice on top. Now the pan itself does freeze but I dump it out and it's fine the rest of the day.

Love this video/info - thank you for sharing! Waiting for the metal bowls to deliver this week. I was wondering, have yall had any algae or mosquito issues develop inside the barrel? Thanks again! Casey

No. It gets a little algae. I have a cleaning video that shows how I clean once a year.
