I tried this, 2 weeks later i found white stuff over the pickles that weren't submerged. wiped it off, tasted a little funny, ate 'em anyway. Vinegar has doubled in price in past 3 months so I am becoming thrifty.

For those of you that insist on being Karens, we put cat food out for the cats that live in our neighborhood because they keep the snake and mouse population under control here on the lake. The raccoons like to help themselves to the food. We consider this a better alternative to them eating our chickens. Tell me you've never lived in the country without actually telling me......
