EO
Still stuck? It's been 11 yrs for me and I can't shake it!
Still one of my top songs from the Deceiver album!
i'm sure we all really miss that ''beat'' from that era.
Yes I already put in my favourite playlist
Still my favourite song all the time
The album hasn't changed song lists so kind of goes without saying
Telle's a legend
From 2020
Listening 2012

Dude in 29 now wtf LOL My vand and I back in the day played a show with memphis may fire and we covered casanova rodeo by the world alive and they said we aounded just like them...i fangirled so hard on my insides 😁 this was back in 2011!
I was here when I was 16 and now I'm 27
Metalcore is life
and now you're 30
the same for me (now im 29 in 2024)... but from Mexico City. I listen ALOT these bands when I was in high school.
Man you got old, lol jk. 29 myself
Tyler and Zach may be the heart and soul of The Word Alive but the contribution of Tony, Nick, Justin and Dusty on Deceiver is outstanding. Incredible lineup TWA had back then.
I had the pleasure of opening up for TWA 2 times with that line up. Such cool guys and amazing musicians.
This is by far the best TWA lineup and album
you are correct!!!!
+Malcolm Herbert AGREED!
Luke Holland for the win.
Easily
You don't know what a lineup is
Reminds me of the Abigail video by miw
Darius Paris it’s not Motionless in white
Wtf you got something there bro
The Best THE WORD ALIVE crew ever.
Do I like rock music? Oh yeah! Do I absolutely love this song? Hell yeah!
*watch?v=bYqKPwdznLQ*
Outstanding indeed!
You might like to RUclips it!
such an amazing chorus. so addicting lol
I love how at the beginning Tell is just calm as hell. Then it kicks in and he goes insane.
10 years later and this is still my favorite song
couldn't agree more
Telle had such beautiful hair.
The synth breakdown with the bass is amazing they sound so cool together. Amazing vocals and instrumentals so i guess its just a good song all the way around!
2016 and im still listening to this
for real, all the time
"Let's only make one technical album"
right
Just saw them over the weekend. Was great to finally hear live
2017
This song just randomly popped up, I cannot believe it’s been 13 years since this was part of my daily line-up
the addictive synth breakdown 0:47
WHO IS STILL LISTENING TO METALCORE WITH ME IN 2019?
2021
@@derekb8866 2022
2022 🤘
Here in 2022 buddy!
WE ROCKIN WITH YOU HOMIE! All the vibes. I’m talkin when love met destruction motionless. Craig chiodos. CREWCABAGAR
0:47 gets me everytime!!!
Still one of my favourite song ever
Man, this band has such talent and potential. And they are so diverse and can produce many different sounds.
Should've had Levi Benton in the video at 2:23. That would have been entertaining to see him hitting those squats. Haha.
100% agree. I looked it up just to see him
can't move on from early 2010's core music.......
2017 still one of my favs
Oh boy this were good times, their ep, deceiver and life cycles were awesome as a whole. Even some of the demos with Craig were a blast. Casanova rodeo, that later got redone by telle in the ep, and are you on drugs, which was redone by Craig in the ep for his side project band the dead rabbits after leaving the word alive.
While twa went downhill after life cycles, tdr has managed to stay more fresh and relevant to this date making great songs sooooo much better than what Craig does in escape the fate. I find ironic tho that he managed to escape his fate to actually make good stuff in the dead rabbits
This song used to be my JAM
0:47 My god that synth is insanely catchy!!
Still digging this in 2019.
The bass drop at 46 sec at s sick I love this band
If you told me this was Motionless in White I'd believe you.
Lightcloud At first thats who i thought this was but i looked into it andd its not.
***** dude motionless in white is fucking fantastic
Lightcloud You are a fucking idiot
***** You suck.
Not as much as your taste in music.
The world was really alive in 2012
It's absolutely insane the screaming that Telle does in this album.
How is this the word alive we all know today
Say that to me that discovered them by Monomania
Eu nunca vou cansar dessa música, mt perfeita pqp
this band needs to be more popular. so much better than alot of post era bands, its different and really good music
Still rocking this 10yrs later.... f I'm getting old lol 😆
2023 rise your Hands folks
Who else is listening to this song in 2018?
Lol me... I've bin listining to TWA for nearly a year now and I know most of their music especialy on Life Cycles and then I found this one from Deciever and I allredy love it lol BTW TWA's old stuff is much better than their new :D
☝️
LOL, i am not the only one
He sounds like motionless in white when he sings and screams
Zack Routon me!! 👍
0:46 💥
Come To California!
I Saw These Guys When They Weren't Big And Bought
One Of Their Eps And Since Then Im In Love
I just started listening to them, I've had their album for a while but I just got really into them. SO GOOD.
this kinda reminds me of motionless in white
2:25 is levi benton and his godly screaming range.
wow, that intro. Life Lessons Learned The Hard Way much?
also. i'm fully aware THIS was released first.
well right before the chorus it sounds like the my life for hire breakdown... only because adtr is one of their influences.
Petition for bands to bring back these synths!!!!!
I like how he say "ee oh" and the music after it 0:46
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSA, foda essa musicaa *o*
LOL silly people comparing them to MIW. It's the lighting in the video that makes Telle look like Chris Motionless. Plus TWA is was better :)
is was
Is that Levi Benton skiing guest vocals at like 2:23? It sounds like him a lot :p this might be a stupid question but oh well xD
Just did a quick look up on the net and it actually is. Good pick up. I never realized it myself.
I thought that part sounded like an Issues song
just now discovering this band because i am seeing them with parkway tonight. cant wait, love what i hear so far.
cant wait to see them this Saturday
Esses caras roubaram um pedaço da vinheta do Re6xx :v
Telle's hairrrr
Its not telle...
+Logan Wilson yes it is Telle
+Logan Wilson Is Telle, you noob.
+Logan Wilson Its tele
Lol and nearly the same guys came out with 'Dark Matter'. I started listining to TWA for about a year ago now and I mostly love their old stuff like this... It's a shame that so meny bands that started like this ends up with releasing music in the Rack & Alternative genre :-/
everyone should blast this song midnight tonight
This came out on my birthday. It was the best birthday present!
Es 2019 y sigue siendo un temon csm
Bumped this a decade ago,Anyone here 2021-2022
Right here on nostalgic train 🚂
miss old twa :(
I missed their old stuffs
i could listen to the synth breakdown all day
I just reviewed The Word Alive's new album "Real." on my channel. Would like to hear what everyone else is thinking about it, check it out and leave a comment!
its like a 4/10 for me... Their old stuff is really all I listen to ... It made them one of my favorite bands.. I saw them last December and they are so good live its ridiculous
Music Video - Let the bodies hit the floor, anyone?
this album is the epitome of catchiness + technicality
yucksuan nah
They open their set with this in Manchester. Brilliant.
Ugh that synth breakdown tho brings back 2005 vibes
Everyone who says they look like Motionless In White has never seen/heard of Eighteen Visions.
foda pa caralho
When will people realize this was released in 2011 and that telle doesn't look like Chris and twa doesn't sound like miw
from wikipedia: "The band has gained praise for their innovative style of modern metalcore; blending thrash metal, groove metal, alternative metal and ambient elements into their overall delivery." There's the reason :P
Just now discovering this band. Absolute banger after banger
Little more makeup and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this band and motionless in white
#Re6xx
Te amo ;-;
EO
E-O
Just graduated and I was playing this song on the way home! CLASS OF 2012!!!
That growl into the synth part just makes me tingle.
01/10/2017 😍🤘🤘
Same
01/14/2017 bro
nuki sensi seeds I'm here too
2017 anyone?
Edit: 2019!!!
Im here bro #stilllistining2017 :D
2018

#6XXGANG
That synth part towards the beginning is not long enough, it's my all time favorite synth part in a metal song ever and I wanted to hear it again in the song!
I love the use of the keyboard in this.
Now there making pop songs lmao
you know what they do to guys like us in prison
is this a less emo motionless in white
if anything miw is a more emo twa
+Skyliines If anything, miw sucks -_-
that breakdown is killer
2019 and I’m still listening
Reminds me of Manhunt 2 xD
omg,yeah!
tear apart my living room to that synth part in 2024
same here, and they are one of the awesomest bands ive heard.
I remember listening to Calling of Syrens on myspace and then waiting for this band to release music after CoS broke up. Good Times.
Help i really need more bands like this one i really love their music!
ASTIG TALAGA TO PROMISE !
yeah i know, ive been subbed to him for a couple years now, im saying he's not replacing their drummer, he's filling in on their tour this year, not permanently
Well this is a blast from the past! Better than I remember. Best I dig out the album for the car tomorrow ;)
Still my favorite album by them. Hands down.
TWA is the only band that can pull of synth breakdowns. They actually play more than 3 fucking chords; they have talent. And they're kick ass.
Deceiver had such an impact on my life coming out when I was in highschool
Love the song and I'm not usually one to complain about tone, but you can really tell the mids are scooped and it makes it sound far less brutal than it could be.
I came here because of Craig Mabbitt:)
It's the background song when he played with his daughter♥
Now, I'm just addicted to this song!
the BVB and AA views should be somehow forwarded to this and all TWA songs
LOVEING THE SYNTH
