I think you also need to test the durability by making a little update at the end after 8 hrs o something of wear. Both sides look the same, really good on you. You cant expect much better quality from tom ford than smashbox or Clinique (both brands also owned by EL). Same with designer brands. The italian police recently busted Dior and other high end brands for producing their bags for about 15 euro but selling them for 1500.

The Westman Atelier powder is surprisingly great for dry skin! Honestly, I felt a bit guilty about owning so many of the expensive products you've tried, but I think both sides look amazing on you. For me, high-end brands tend to be less irritating on my dry, sensitive skin, and I love that a little product goes a long way. 😊✨

The suede bag isn't trash though, you keep the compact in it to protect it so that it doesn't get banged around in your makeup kit and shatter. The bag prevents a little bit of cushion to keep it from happening 😢

the product itself is 125 dollars! well I think one could do that when it's a small amount of money to them . For me, I would even get a separate pouch for 20 dollar project if I want it to stay intact for as long as possible. The pouch can also be reused later for other stuffs as well

That Tom Ford bronzer looked way too orange in the pan. I hope it wasn't called a contour. It should be more grey for your light shade, not orange! You should have went with Haus Labs concealer, they have nice light shades. I really love the Rimmel Miracle Ink liquid eyeliner. I've used it for years. Collect little bags and use them as stuffing for a pillow or quilt.
5:30 donate the little bag!! Give it to a charity store instead of throwing it in the bin!! Charity stores can use them as cute gift bags for jewellery they sell! Crafters use them to store little things! They are more useful than you realise, please Reduce Reuse Recycle and Donate!
It took me like a third of the video to realize it was specifically the cheapest/most expensive from Sephora. Bc I was like, "where are the walmart and dollar store brands I usually buy from? They're definitely less expensive." For affordable, not necessarily the absolute cheapest, but good quality, elf and milani are my go-to's. Absolutely recommend for anyone on a makeup budget.

Is it strange that I save watching your videos for when I’m having a rough day? I can’t tell you how much I enjoy not having to worry about language or suitable content around my child. I love that I can always count on you to provide content that all ages can enjoy. I got my nieces addicted and now my 79 yr old mom has started watching the videos. 12:39 I will just say, a lot of the time, the more expensive eyeshadows, especially the really shiny, "wet" looking shades, have a more delicate formula which makes them a little more prone to breaking or falling out of the pan. Still not worth the money for me, but I wouldn't be too mad about the palette being broken like that🤷♀️
I would suggest showing a WEAR TEST, seeing how the makeup does throughout the day instead just when you finish your makeup? Because for me sometimes more expensive products looks way better after all day use then cheaper products were they having a tendency to wear down and melt after a while and not look good.
@ Exactly that’s why I don’t really take much much from video that don’t do wear test. There are many makeup products that look amazing initially when put on but will literally disappear or look horrible in only a couple of hours.

I remember how you used to say that you weren't that happy with them, but I thought it was the same way as I did when I started.... Since I have seen so much "Perfect" looks on social media, I always thought my looks weren't that good, but looking back, I actually find that I like them, even today, when I have improved a lot. 💗 If I were you, I would take a selfie with the eyelook on, then save them in a folder. Is it strange that I save watching your videos for when I’m having a rough day? I can’t tell you how much I enjoy not having to worry about language or suitable content around my child. I love that I can always count on you to provide content that all ages can enjoy. I got my nieces addicted and now my 79 yr old mom has started watching the videos. It’s a light in my sometimes dark day. Today wasn’t the greatest so I saved this video and decided to watch it to cheer me up. I feel better and I’m excited to try a new makeup look tomorrow.

Just wanted to let you know that you should be able to return the broken eyeshadow palette without a problem! Sephora is pretty great with returns.

12:39 I will just say, a lot of the time, the more expensive eyeshadows, especially the really shiny, "wet" looking shades, have a more delicate formula which makes them a little more prone to breaking or falling out of the pan. Still not worth the money for me, but I wouldn't be too mad about the palette being broken like that🤷♀️
I feel like some close up shots would have been good to really compare/ see the difference in products once applied to the face
I would suggest showing a WEAR TEST, seeing how the makeup does throughout the day instead just when you finish your makeup?
Because for me sometimes more expensive products looks way better after all day use then cheaper products were they having a tendency to wear down and melt after a while and not look good.
Honestly without a wear test its very much first first impressions...
@ Exactly that’s why I don’t really take much much from video that don’t do wear test. There are many makeup products that look amazing initially when put on but will literally disappear or look horrible in only a couple of hours.

I remember how you used to say that you weren't that happy with them, but I thought it was the same way as I did when I started.... Since I have seen so much "Perfect" looks on social media, I always thought my looks weren't that good, but looking back, I actually find that I like them, even today, when I have improved a lot. 💗
If I were you, I would take a selfie with the eyelook on, then save them in a folder. Because when I do that, I find that when I look on that photo in a week or a month, I will find that I like it a lot more (especially, when I don't take close up photos, since that tend to be the problem, why most people don't like their looks.) 💖
Think about it like this, who the hell is going to stand close enough to you that they can see all those small little details🙈💞
BTW: Please do that video, where you test high end on sephora vs low end in drug store.
But maybe you could try high end vs drug store favorites (like any price from drug store, that a lot of people love, or your own favorite products from there)

When creators apply makeup then ask (often moving closer to/zooming camera) “How does this look?”…when we can see NO detail at all.😑🙄😤
