    So Eren telling Zeke :
“If someone is willing to take my freedom away, I won’t hesitate to take theirs. Father didn’t make me this way. I have always been like this since the day I was born.”
was nothing but a big fat lie? Why would he lie to Zeke in paths? What is the benefit of him lying to his brother in Chapter 121.

The reason why people hate the 139 eren
there was no build up eren isn't a hero in traditional sense as he genocides the rest of the world to save his people.131 already humanised him.It is not simply That "he cuck not chad we mad" it came out of nowhere and incredibly forced. This is his natural progression from innocent kid to moody teenager set on revenge to breaking down in S3 part one to regaining motivation then realising everything was a lie and learning the truth to stohic flawed man doing what he can to protect his people though it morally wrong. Not devolving into a crybaby to a bird then a tree lol.hope you guys understand:)

Im happy you liked the ending. Me personally its drove me up the wall.
I also like the fact that you disagree with what what AOTnoRequiem is going with as of now, but being respectful all the same.
I personally hated the ending, but never once cheered or contoned any of the hate Isayama or his publication has gotten. Isayama's story is his story, but fanfiction writers and artist alike can go about whatever they want. AOTnoRequiem team even stated as much saying: This isnt for everyone.
I personally dont know why more mangaka dont license out their work for royalties for stuff like this. That would be cool for any story in my book.

As you said, the writing and conversation is somewhat off..
    Yes it is.
I think that's normal since they're not 'real' mangaka (they have jobs and school duties) so yeah..
And why the original ending needs to be defended? AnR team stated multiple times that it is just fan fiction..
Yaa 7:27 we better read it as AU from the original ending, the ending where ANR happens (since the original ending is reverse anr)
Eren here is still acting evil (that's what I get)
So, hmm as Kaiki Deishu said:
"The fake is of far greater value. In its deliberate attempt to be real, it's more real than the real thing".
Anr fanmade is not trying to be real..
So no matter how great it is or how much people like it.. it's just fanfic afterall.. :D

copy and pasted from another comment on AnR video :
Willy Tybur mentioned that their family built relationships with influential people around the world to IMPROVE SOCIAL STANDING OF ELDIANS.
Eren killed him just to turn Armin into a FAILED tybur with less connections.
Armin failed because the world still bombed Paradis.
Eren gambled the fate and future of Paradis,
    and he lost.
He put all of the burdens and responsibilities on his friend’s descendants and the future generation of his people.
Which completely betrays one of the biggest themes of Attack on Titan.

Eren and Armin was able to establish peace for 150 or atleast 100+ years
Peace is not eternal and violence will always there in human nature
The main difference between karl Fritz and Eren is that the main priority of the king is the humanity on the other hand Eren was more concerned about the Eldians of Paradise and particularly his friends...

2:24 that dialogue means, if she didn't chose to attach to life and created paths all this suffering could be avoided
5:52 CH131 still happened but that panel of him crying was back in Marley, after that Eren went to war and stayed in Marley for months, then attacked Libertio by himself. That emotional Eren is gone, no one can take his complexity away is just that his duality was gone once he started the Rumbling because realistically something that mayor CAN'T be half done, you have to be really commited.

You SAID that eren season 4 is a facade? He did not pretend when he told his father with dead and serious eyes that he must kill innocent children and the founding titan to achieve a future. Here is another example as well. When eren talks to reiner in marley, eren's facial expressions were to realistic to reflect his character development. He accepts the fate and he abused an innocent child (falko) and transformed into a titan and was ready to kill falco and the family above eren who were listening to willy. How could this eren be in the end a crybaby who cares about unimportant stuff like mikasa after he killed 80% of humanity. dont think thats just hilarious? The eren in anr just accepts the reality. He abides to his character because he is focused only on his goal. And erens rumbling goal in anr is also better.
    Anr rumbling results
-paradise is permantly safe from other nations
    -historia was not sacraficed
-titans dont need to be removed from reality since only eldians are left
    Anr rumbling cost
    -100% outside paradise was killed
    Isayama ending results
    - paradise is temporarily safe
    - titans are removed somehow Not explained at all?
    -historia was not sacrafice
    Isayama ending cost
    -80% of humanity is dead
    -eren dies
Therefore the results and costs in anr rumbling are more advantageous for the sake of paradise. Thats why eren decides to go for the 100% rumbling plan in anr, because he is not stupid and selfish enough to do a rumbling ONLY FOR HIS FRIENDS.

First of all they already disclaimed that they are not trying to be an alternative Canon ending.
They have been emphasizing that this is a FAN made ending like every fanfic
Second, Isayama in his after thought interview already said he has some regrets when making this. Where he said he could not do a good writing afterall(imo a bad excuse even though we already have the masterpiece of the journey before the last Arc)
If he wanted to make the same ending we all know but needed more fleshing out? Or he wanted something similar to his original interview where he referenced the tragic ending of the mist?
Who knows. That's up to him.
Third, he clearly stated he was influenced in some of the major parts of where the direction of some of the characters should go. As he said the editors didn't like how tragic his original ending in mind was and how he shouldn't kill Sasha early on for example.
So no, it was not entirely what he wanted when he has regrets and clearly says he was influenced to a degree. Now he is moving on by getting what he wanted like the hotspring, making a parody of the story on a recent newspaper release, his profit and many more, so good for him at least.
And no, a fanfic claiming to only remain as a fanmade ending for people who want to see a what if scenario is no where disrespectful on under the logic that all fanfics are what if scenarios. In fact this is because they love the story and respect what Isayama made that gave way to their passion to make something like this, a what if scenario like many others.
It would only be disrespectful if the team making this says they want to be the alternative Canon ending for everyone to read instead of a fanmade what if ending. And many times over they emphasized the latter.
Now whoever enjoys this fanfic ending or hates it is subjective. Good for you if you love the original or the fanmade.
    =====) =
And to those who just want to hate on other people cuz they disagree and have their own opinions, they can just shut up and suck on pacifiers because a Fandom should like what they enjoy not hate on people for being different. You are not a real fan if you hate someone for loving the original or fanmade ending, be civilized ffs.

Not only that but they are making eren lack any other emotion. Specifically depression. Yes eren is angre boy but his character development was about him recognizing that the world is grey and it fk sucks but he has to bit the anyways even if he doesn't want to. I would have loved to see that shot but rather than eren just staring off in anger he looks down at his younger self, blind to the reality of the world. He looks in sadness and disappointment.

    • @marcster6767
      @marcster6767 3 года назад +1

@@kurokamina8429 Yeah, I meant that too. I think that the fans who are disappointed with the ending think that freedom just means getting rid of any external factor that could possibly shackle you (concept that the immature Eren very much embodies). The eastern concept of freedom instead implies that one should accept his own limits and do his best to fulfill his destiny within them. AoT presents both sides of the coin when taken to the extreme (Floch - Zeke) but the answer is somewhere in the middle. After growing up Eren did mature a little and he understood that he could not just slaughter anyone in his way without remorse, which is why he goes for 80% instead of 100%
The freedom panel in 131 has been especially misunderstood, as his blurred eyes two pages later suggest, in that scene Eren is very much not free, but a slave to his own concept of freedom.

The point of No Requiem is not because they think they know better than Isayama they just want to give it a shot and make their own ending, fan fiction and fan endings have been around for a long time and it’s not like they claim their version to be the better or the cannon one, maybe you should do some research on who the creators are and what their reasoning is before running your mouth

People who like no requiem have this weird Chad Eren fantasy and I'm sure they're all teenage boys going through their edgy phase. Let them, they will mature some day and maybe come around, or they'll stay the same way and be redditors for their whole lives.

teenage but still mature enough to realize the ending was just garbage it was all for nothing paradise ended up getting destroyed anyway And the alliance were just stupid first of all the armin and eren talk was trash you have armin telling eren what he has done to mikasa really mikasa IN THE MIDDILE OF GENOCIDE you should be telling eren to not kill everyone but he wanna talk about mikasa AND EREN BECOMING A CRYBABY SIMP?!??!?! since when

True. I do like this more Chad Eren more than what I saw in the original (yeah, I’m an 18 year-old boy). But I’m not going to trash anyone who likes the original ending. If you like, you like it. Everyone’s got their own tastes when it comes to writing and or media. I just personally prefer AoTR’s portrayal of the last few chapters vs the original. Again, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I think another main issue is that a good part of the AoTR fandom is taking this version of the ending as fixed/canon. I acknowledge this isn’t the canon ending and it won’t be

I’m sorry no disrespect though but that’s pretty but it’s not disrespectful. How is this fanmade ending disrespectful when Kodansha itself markets fanfiction manga as free advertising😂😂 the story was also retconned to hell to please viewers like you but backfired completely. There’s proof with isayamas interviews and posts years before, so I recommend you go ahead and check that out buddy. Also how are we suppose understand a dark fantasy story that suddenly turned into a romantic out no where between a little slave girl who was raped and forced to bear children and falls in love with king pedofile which was the root cause of all this madness that’s happened. For two thousand years she been following the kings orders creating Titans because she loved him but can’t break free? And she led on this massacre so she can see someone break free of their own painful love? 80% of the world killed off and years later getting destroyed? The main character retconned as well as doing all that he did to ensure paradis’ safety and now it was all for nothing? A protagonist who was always edgy since the age of nine who killed 2 adults in cold blood and had been kept consistent ever since isn’t really an edgy character but just a crybaby? A protagonist suddenly crying like a baby cause he’ll die and he can’t get a girl he wants (note he didn’t even think about her in season 1 when he was in a Titans stomach about to die didn’t think of her once? The protagonist who led a Titan to his mom to eat her to stop another person from dying because it wasn’t their time yet (some say it was Ymir and if it is then that’s even more fucked up)? A romance between a protagonist and his step sister who had zero chemistry besides the end of season 2 that came out of no where? The protagonist not knowing why he did the rumbling but had too? I really didn’t mind his plan on saving his friends but he was retconned to hell. That’s not a good plot. It’s poor writing and I think i can critique something if I don’t like it. I can accept it but I can’t like it. This fanmade chapter had twenty pages and it answered most of the questions I had surprisingly. Anyone who likes the ending then like the ending, support it, or hate it go ahead. Everyone will respect the opinions of others but don’t say the fan base is disrespectful and we don’t know the story when the plots were there but drastically changed. I actually predicted that Eren would pull a lelouch ending but that way it was presented failed in my opinion. Anyway sorry for taking to much of your time and it you read all this thanks for taking the time to read it.
