Court can do anything under the shadow of its inherent power. The Civil courts had inherent power to issue temporary injunctions in cases which were not covered by the provisions of O. 39 Civil Procedure Code.

Court in the interest of justice, appoint sue motto The receiver although no application is ever moved by the parties.
