How to wear and tie a Gomesi as a Muganda Lady by Lady Irene Bisasso (Traditional Ugandan Attire)

I share step by step as I explain both in Luganda and English on how to easily wear and tie a gomesi as a Muganda Lady from the pearl of Africa. I was taught by my amazing mother in Uganda.
Gomesi sometimes we call it Busuuti in Luganda. It is a traditional attire that we are proud of that I wear in Uganda and sometimes in Norway on different special occasions. In Uganda mainly in Buganda region among other regions women wear it on daily basis like in some villages. In urban areas it is mainly on special occasions like Kwanjula( Baganda traditional wedding), church weddings, graduation parties and the like.
There are some Gomesi traditionally made from bark cloth. Gomesi can be in different colours and the creativity of Ugandans will surprise you.
If you are visiting the pearl of Africa, try wearing our traditional attire. Gomesi for women and Kanzu for men among other traditional attires. I think many Ugandans are like me, they will appreciate it very much.
