Polestar 4 review | Better than a Tesla Model Y?

The Polestar 4 is an intriguing, almost odd, car that tries to combine the best aspects of a sports saloon and a crossover, adding to that mix long electric range and sleek styling. That low roofline, combined with a sleek nose (which does without the ‘smart panel’ camera and radar section used by the Polestar 3 SUV and the upcoming Polestar 5 saloon) and pert tail section make the Polestar 4 one of the best and most interesting-looking new cars around.

Which colour is it when you present it from the outside?

It will feature, as an option, electrocromatic roof. But not until 2025. Other than that I am definitely getting one. Really looking forward to test drive it. I think they already corrected the suspension since these testcars were not production cars.

Pointless to compare with Tesla as Polestar aims for premium brands. Compare prices and specs with Porsche instead, then Polestar 4 is a bargain

I may actually cancel my reservation on account of this bizarre rear non-window. Will make that decision after a test drive in August (US).

They share the SEA platform but the dual blade lights, the rear and the more elegant, clear design also in software, paired with sustainability like no other brand, sets the P4 clearly apart from Z001

Cheapest 4 seems to be 69k
Cheapest Y is 49k

Polestar’s ride is much better. Build quality is much better. In my opinion the Y is ugly. This is a beauty of a car. And finally, Polestar’s innovative sustainability comes with a price too.
