    hi when I click on New connection for selected members? Robot showing (it is necessary to calculate structure)? what does it mean? do I have to calculate structure at first without connection?

      ***** I have been asking a question for a while, in reality what constitute a fix, pin, semi-ridge etc.. for concrete and steel- column to foundation-beam to column? thanks

    Question: For the Bolts, is it possible to have more than 4 Columns of bolts? If NOT, is there something written in a manual that I can refer to?

    Hello Eng.º Nuno Teixeira, I have a question: what if I wanted the connection with the beam on top of the column? i could use the regular solution given by ROBOT and just rotate it 90º for assembling but in that case the compression does not pass trough the welds or bolts but by direct contact. Is there anything to be concerned about? How do I change connetion settings in ROBOT to have the beam over the column? Thank you very much!

      +Paulino Dias Santos nice question! Robot won't design that connection, you will need to make the calculations yourself, or find software that does that for you.

    Why were all beams and columns designed with the Column design ? Beams and columns should be designed separately.

    Firstly thank you so much because of your good modeling and exemplifications. I want to learn that can ı solve only steel connection without structural model in the RSAP? (What ı am trying to say, for example if ı model any structural steel building in Sap2000 and then get all internal force from sap2000 to RSAP; is it possible to analys?

      +Osman Ali Korkmaz I never did that. I don't really know if it is possible but I guess that it is, if you use a macro/small program.
      I should point out, however, that you should be very careful using robot. In some connections, the calculations are incomplete.

      +Adriano Melo to be honest, I don't know. Anyway, the drawings are really poor by the way. It could be better.

      Une plateforme métallique avec des poutres IPE le but de faire le calcul d'une charge repartie et calcul au poinçonnage, j'ai le logiciel mais j'arrive pas à faire ce calcul puisque je suis débutante

      +abdoulaye karembe thank you very much for the kind input. I really appreciate that. The pen that I used to make the channel videos is the cheapest Wacom Intuos Pen. Just like this one here guide.alibaba.com/shop/wacom-intuos-pen-small-tablet_10311343.html
      I believe that it's not available right now, but you may find some that will do the work.
