Everybody is better at dota in every braket now. I have friends who played dota 1 , over 10 years of dota and they are 2k. And i see alot of profiles when i am with my friends , players who got 7-8k games and they are 2k. Is impossible to not learn something in 10 years of dota even if you are bad. They can`t escape low mmr because everybody is better now, the game is so old , of course everybody had time to be better.
What a lot of people fail to realise is that not everyone who is competent at playing in one way is a smurf. DotA is a team game, and if you play like this Invoker and don't work with your team and try to glory hog, you'll still lose. I had a mate who was convinced he was being pulled down by his teammates and stuck in the trench. He could win 1v1 mid every time, but he was still losing 50% of his games. Why? Because he'd tilt his team. He would regularly lose games where he had gone godlike because he refused to play with his team. The game turns into a 5 v 1 v 4, and he'd always wind up stomping the early and mid game, and then either getting carried late or losing. He was stuck at 2k for most of the years he played DotA, yet he could compete with me 1v1 in mid fights when I was 4k. He used to brag about being called a smurf as well. But he wasn't. He was trash. Just because you're hyper competent in one area doesn't mean you'll be competent enough to raise your MMR. He could hit every last hit in lane and dumpster the enemy mid, but then he'd skip team fights "because he needed his item" or he'd try to initiate team fights without telling his team "because it's obvious". Then you'd see him at 40 minutes solo on the map without his team because he could never get out of the "mids gank" mindset. He almost exclusively played Invoker, SF, QoP, and Storm and he'd often rush Dagon or other obnoxious items that peak early and fall off late. He refused to follow guides or try to improve because "he was better than his team." And it was true, mechanically he played like a 4k. On a good day he played like a 5k. But his map awareness was focused entirely on himself, his ability to play with the team was non-existent, and he had zero clue how to itemise.
LMAO my best friend is exactly what you're describing. Mine only likes to mid because, "everyone in my team is trash". He'll make some pog early rotations and mid to late game just feed in the worst scenarios, letting the enemy team retake the lead. Man refused to buy bkb even if it was core on a hero unless the enemy team was 5 stuns or something.
Played with a few mids like that in my 1.5k games. Love them early/mid game and, as pos 4/5, I love playing alongside them. But it tends to get to a point where I'm making a decision whether to follow the mid or follow the other 3 allies, and after mid loses one or two 1v5 or 2v5 fights I'm going with my 3 teammates the next time haha. Always feels like they throw perfectly winnable games.
@@blackthrone6976 How to get out of herald: Learn how to consistently last hit on a hero you will spam in safelane or mid. Do this by soloing in a practice lobby. (There is also a last hit practice mode in tutorial these days). Aim for 4/4 creeps every wave. (Catapult takes 4 hits from tower + 1 last hit). Ideally you should have 8 last hits per minute. The invoker looks like a all roles player of legend rank who's playing against heralds, but that antimage also looks like a player of the same rank but someone who primarily plays carry and knows whom to prioritize in fights. If that was an immortal rank invoker spammer, things would have been different.
Real problem is.. you have invo smurf on your team. How can you be' so bad and retard to lose the game? You have to be a bot with no brain to lose a free win. Hope that lion unistall. He did nothing good in all game
How is he getting such a high win streak even for a smurf. At some point in herald you're going to have a team who doesnt want to cooperate even when you are owning because everyone wants to be the mvp, and you get an enemy team that works together to win the game and no amount of 1 person superowning is going to win the game.
That's because a high mmr smurf don't need their team, they single handedly win the game. He's likely legend or ancient on his main account. Legend/Ancient with a typical core hero at herald can 1v5, 1v9 even.

If you abandon a game the streak will continue. you will lose but the streak won't break
Love the spoiler before the start of the video - makes it much more interesting to actually watch it
mechanically he might be a smurf, but game sense is still herald
When I first came back, I played about 10 games before I figured out what neutral items were.
The sad thing here is the poor guy has won 115 times in a row and the game hasn't moved him out of Herald
@provis345 p well thanks for being simple. Your kind words have the same tone as the trash languishing in Herald, so I guess you'd know
@provis345 p christ almighty chill 😭
@provis345 p yo chiiiiill
It's a win streak on Invoker. He probably throws many many games on different heroes to preserve the Invoker win streak.
@@digiquo8143 thanks for the one clarifying answer. win streak is per hero. now it makes sense.
1:52 Lion be like: Back to base for mana
Gigasmurf takes a big L.
Gigasmurf then proceeds to touch grass for the first time in years.
well he abandoned, I dont think he's taking the BIG L. That's how petty he is.
People on this comment section man saying abandoning a game won't lose your streak
jakiro with the ultimate chad move “bye” and the end of the game
Herald is a mind set, anything goes and anything crazy is acceptable
"You are a very impressive specimen. And I love you"
"Oh. ... I love you too."
Jenkins makes the best herald reviews, no contest
My biggest fear is clicking on one of these herald reviews and seeing myself in the game and jenkies calling my build awesome
I feel like most players in this game are smurfs. Just different qualities of smurfs. Maybe it only appears this way because of how the video is cut and it might be different when watching the actual replay, but it looks like almost none of these players are actual Herald 1-2 players. Maybe with the exception of Visage and Lion.
many boosters bro, in EU half of your games is with russian boosters that get payed 5 dollar an hour to boost a herald account. I crushed many of them and they always ragequit xD.
That's what happens when Valve allows every player to just have an infinite number of alternate accounts with no punishment, not to mention how they rarely if ever do anything about smurfing or account selling/trading/buying when they find out about it
this is the most satisfying dota 2 video I have ever seen
and a lesson in not getting smug when you have 4 feeders
People should realize that in order to stay a smurf, you have to lose games or else you'll get to your appropriate rank eventually.
He did nothing good in all game
yep thats a 3k invoker for sure
4:20 pretty wrong assumption
these 120+ winstreak smurfs losing are the best content
How is he getting such a high win streak even for a smurf. At some point in herald you're going to have a team who doesnt want to cooperate even when you are owning because everyone wants to be the mvp, and you get an enemy team that works together to win the game and no amount of 1 person superowning is going to win the game.
That's because a high mmr smurf don't need their team, they single handedly win the game. He's likely legend or ancient on his main account. Legend/Ancient with a typical core hero at herald can 1v5, 1v9 even.
"Pick someone your own size"
Giga Smurf: NO
If you look closely, Lion also had a tier 1 neutral item by the end of the game
That's what I call equality
"Dude, what would you do if your kid looks like lion?"
"i would love him unconditionally"
Once i won against 273 prediction guy on Faceless Void. It was most satisfying victory for 5.2k hr's that i have been played this game. I was playing pudge, ganking, bought all the wards and was concentrated like never before. We dominated from the beginning. What i want to say - We win because of communications and concentration. No one tilted and was doing his job. Don't be afraid to take imitation if there is no one to do that. Speak with your teamates.
“What would you do if your kid looked like Lion”
“I would love him because he’s my kid” wholesome
I really don't understand the Sand King.
He seems to only make some godly plays and incredibly dumb decision, no in between.
its herald, there is nothing to be understood. there is no logic, no reasoning.
Dude I can tell you. Some heralds have no understanding of the backpack or neutrals. I watched someone get their courier to ferry back neutrals to the base. I tried so hard to tell him you could teleport them... he kept the same items in his backpack and slot the whole game.
These herald reviews are the greatest thing on RUclips. We need more more often.
I was watching speed on gameleap all the time before I found your channel and he’s a little too condescending while trying not to be lol
Idk I just relate more to your content Bc as a herald myself I will fucking rage in chat and be toxic as hell sometimes just Bc I’m in the mood lol
Yesterday I smashed my mouse out in the street after a miss miss click
Anyways keep it up! Hoping you review one of my games some day. Would be an honor to be laughed at 🤣
Wow this comment is even better than the video. I perished after reading this XD
Someone needs to see a psychiatrist, or just delete the stupid game.
If there aren’t at least 69 episodes of herald reviews I’m gonna flip 420 tables
hell yeah , all these smurfs in herald dont make the game very much more attractive to people who are new to the game and try to get into. hope that invoker is proud on his win streak.
He will never win against my herald account ;).
Invokers are so easy to crush. You just keep killing him early, and he will be done.
@@casecold1864 -Says the herald player xD
Kudos to the editor with the t-bag for jenkins. Classy dude
I’m divine player and some of those players have the skill close to ancient if not better. I mean the Drow the am, the Sk and I think the bristle seem pretty advanced in skill for a herald. Their reaction time, spell cast and decision making are on point.
I don’t know what Valve can do but this Smurfing needs to stop before it ruins Dota all together.
Valve cant do shit right, they are talentless, lazy and lost.
Solution: everyone needs to git gud
@@friendmaker9210 not everyone can “git gud” at this game, you need at least 8000 hours of Dota on ALL heroes and roles to be able to understand the game fully and have a decent skill level. That is why there are ranks and mmr to determine at what level you are. These guys playing like that when a herald rank is at most 2000-3000 hours of this game is called abuse of system, AKA SMURFING.

I agree Ciprian. Im nowhere nere divine but the ranks are messed up. Ive been playing between archon and legend guys normally. Somehow I became a herald because of pc crashes / abandons / internet problems / raging because of that... now with new pc and good internet I play normally on herald and it's the SAME difficulty. Should be extremely easy on herald and is not.
The title should be a smurf losing to other smurfs. GJ matchmaking.
NEVER underestimate the power of a HERALD!
HERALD can make even the pros cry - true story.
The legendary undying 🤣
4:20 indeed a blazing moment of top tier carries :D
Hey Jenkins! Love your videos, but if I may give you my opinion, I think you spoiled the video by showing at the start that the Invoker abandoned the game. In my opinion, it would have been better if you had let the element of surprise kick in. Anyway, keep up the awesome job!
its his selling point. but i hate it too
invo's just saving the streak
I don't care about the match.
"I'm stuck step bro, help me out " this one cracked me
Leopold finally taking the skills he learned in Immortal, huh?
Love this content -happy patron
9:37 "Spirit Bear"
Visage losing the ability to pilot his hero by buying items is incredible.
6:00 my favorite part of this whole series are the lion adventures
This is the clip I wait for more than my pay check!!!
From now on I will swap to tier 1 neuts before winning to make the game thinks that I'm a noob and doesn't match me with smurfs.
How can you smurf in 115 games in a row? Would you not go up in ranks with that score pretty quick?
how are you still in herald if you have 115 winstreak?
5:25 lol that lion just said 💀
He can't find the missing bird! 😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣
Abandoned because it keeps the streak. Used to do that 2 mins before a sure lose game just to keep my streak lmao
- Invoker lands a standard Cold Snap+Meteor combo.
- "Yeah thats a smurf"..... ? lol
The disappointment in his face when he saw SK still holding the ocean heart
is that fear's at 10:35 ?
If you had not anticipated earlier in the video, invoker's abandon would be a fine plot twist...
Hey how do i submit reviews
And does it have to be ranked herald games
To explaij im herald 5 but only play unranked but ive had some WILD games
fact that none of the players left 70 min game until it's over
10:34 hello Fear
lmfao the lion getting clapped in the mana void had me creasing
Why this game looks like 2-3k mmr average Russian lobby?
Are there different unranked and ranked mmrs?
Yo when was this streamed I wanna watch the whole thing
do u have any videos that yu are playing? i want to see yu play :)
This legit had me cracking up, comedy gold.
Skill gap between heralds is so big, that this rank should have his own sub-ranks
"i love u too"
I played few games in crusader bracket with my friends and it is way harder than my divine 5/low immortal games. Sometimes I played mid and I would get absolutely wrecked in the laning phase.
That'd prove that you're either carried non-stop or the position or heroes you play are utterly broken (not true), or you play with non-carry heroes while not knowing how to play the carry role (any hero).
That AM is crazy good for Herald!
This bracket is full of various levels of Smurfs.
so satisfying... keep these things up jenkins
His name means: Call you Star because without stars, im fine. But in Vietnamese, the phrase "without stars" also means "no problem"
I had to rewind to the Lion death moment like 10 times and i'm cough laughing
How does the invoker euls and also move at the same time?
new item windwaker
that lion gets me every time lmao
couldnt ask for a more supportive and caring bubby
No herald will ever swap off and on their items to gain back mana/health from stats
why are these videos so addicting
The 66 min casual ocean heart… I just can’t
