- There isn't much video about this game yet so here is one. I'm like 30 minute into the campaign and 2 hours into ship edit so I know pretty much nothing about this game.
This ship is just a poorly modified Sevastopol.

If the enemy ever takes this thing down the ammo explosion will probably wipe their fleet so it's a win-win.

Props for you! Its very hard to design good looking Cruisers in the game. You made a really interesting design.

holy crap. I've never seen this game before, but I was watching you play and said to myself "wow, this feels a lot like Hammerfight / Hammerfall" but I had to look it up, and sure enough.. Koshutin / 1C.. same people :D I'll have to give it a try!
it's great, you can very much tell they have their favourite mechanics and story structures, a few pop back up from hammerfight.

I made a ship that literally costs 500000 and its so big that it collapses on itself upon trying to land without any landing gear

3:01 Imagine you're the only one left in your fleet against that ship and your crew member says "uhh sir, i think we're dead" and everything from the enemy ship just blasts a few million rounds at you lmao

First of all the a-10 uses 30 mm, the ciwis in this game is 37 mm
The main battery is a 6 barrelled 180mm, so you are extremely far off.
The one thing you are right about is this thing is as useful as an a-10
Which isn't much,
One ap salvo or a cruise missile from the bottom will be enough to make chernobyl look like a joke, minus all the radiation.
One more similarity to the a-10 is that it's slow as fuck, is a fuel hog and it alerts every enemy strike fleet with its giant ass radar signature

How many seconds of fuel? -1 Goodness that magazine is just asking for a crit. Should name this the Hood for no particular reason.
turns out in this mode you can get away with just 1 small fuel tank lol, so I went with that eventually. Yeah I got mag exploded all the time, but I upgraded the ship a lot further. I don't play anymore tho.
That's the perfect gunship. It has the terrible firepower of the 6 barrels 185mm howizers and it has the 30mm miniguns to defend from missiles. It's perfect, good job mate

Musin, landscape and units resemble those of Homeworld Desert of Kharak. Is this relevant somehow?
The art style is clearly influenced by Homeworld which is characterized by desert, Middle Eastern music, bulky industrial designs, and prophecies.
@@lowerlowerhk I mean it looks like something from homeworld universe. Its obviously a kharak carrier flying arround.
@@lowerlowerhk It's a fair bit more retro, Homeworld has very futuristic industrial designs whereas the general aesthetic of Highfleet is more 20th century, the planes are clearly modeled after cold war era jets, the smaller one looks like a MiG-19 with the tail of an F-4 Phantom and the bigger one looks like a cross between a MiG-21 and a Vought F-8 Crusader with it's blunt nose. The 2A37 uses the same naming convention as soviet autocannons (see the Shipunov 2A42 for example) there's a lot of ww1 and ww2 gear being worn by various characters from British WW1 Small Box Respirators, to early Italian WW1 helmets and body armour, Imperial Russian Cossack uniforms like the one Piotr wears. There's also a ton of Dune influence, if you go through the directiories you'll even find some hidden sand worm sound files, and I dread the day when I find out what the dev is going to use them for.
The overral mission is very Deserts of Kharak though, going deep behind enemy lines with a small group of ships to reach some kind of magic McGuffin, I just wish there was more stuff to find in the desert besides cities, but I remain hopeful that this might be a thing in a possible future expansion or sequel, or even just an update.

that might actually be somewhat viable in the campaign if you have a massive fueler escort
It is not. Speed, fixing cost, etc. Common scenario will be:
1. You were compromised by city or fast enough convoy.
2. Everyone is trying to find you (and they will because you are slow)
3. Amount of Kh-15 and others, planes, tactical groups constantly biting you and killing the escort will increase exponentially.
4. You will not be able to fix that thing fast enough and soon you will run out of money
5. You will face your last stand when 2 main battle groups, 3-4 tactical groups, and 1-2 carriers behind them will team up in one giant fleet and show up to eat your remaining corpse.

@@ilyamuromets5188 You want something fast for that, I've gone up against strike groups alone in my beefed up super lightning that costs a fraction of the price of this monstrosity and barely got my hull scratched despite the screen being full black from high g maneuvering half the time.

But higher cost and tends to run out
The cheapest rockets are 600 gold a piece. Even laser guided 180mm shells are cheaper. Not to mention ever since the new updates, AI come euipped with proximity shells. This means you are forced to fire all your missiles at the beginning of combat because the rockets being exposed to explosions will detonate in just a few salvos.
oh god why? Why everyone on youtube loves this 180 mm crap so much.
It is literally useless.
Replace it with 6 D-80 and you will save 2 ammo and like 1000 of weight
And dps will be like tripled.
1 salvo of 12 D-80 is nuff to 1shot a cruiser with AP ammo.
Also D-80 can use all types of ammo.
With d-80 you can use 37 mm ciws just for defence.
Because some people like to have fun with their games, not be nerds

180 doesn't kill the FPS when they fireing, but yes they do need to buff 180 and give us 305.
