I would say Chun always was somewhat envious of Qian. She was nice to her because Quian too was friendly to her and due to her unpopularity and bad name, she was less of a threat. Even before she found out she was an adopted she had started to harm Qian.
I think this drama would have been more fun if they focused on two worlds difference and explored that side more with romcom elements and how to eliminate those differences instead of chuchu and pei hang obsession with lead characters
