I’m one of these weird people that will wash and fold immediately. I can’t stand having clothes in the washer and dryer longer than needed. I also clean my laundry room nightly when I’m cleaning up the kitchen and dining room after dinner. My OCD is next level haha!! Love, love, LOVE the comforter on your bed!!
Loved it Amy. You have a really big house. But I think you have learned the trick of a really neat clean home. I do something everyday. Monday is my bathrooms fully cleaned and my beds stripped and fresh linen put on, Tuesday is a full vacuum of every carpeted room and a full mop with my O-Cedar of all my other floors, you get the drift. Then the rest of the week I do other things on certain days like my furniture and my laundry. But my whole house gets cleaned by the time the week is finished. And I do some vacuuming and mopping and sweeping everyday just not a throughout cleaning like on Tuesday. That is the only way I can keep mine clean.
One thing I would suggest that really worked with me when I was young was my Mom taught me bible verses put to song. To this day I remember them so I always have scripture in my heart! I love that you made reading your bible a resolution! It's definitely a good habit to start! Serious morning person here! 🙋♀️ I have to clean & work out in the morning or it won't get done. I'm up usually around 4-5am so I'm ready for bed by @-9pm. I have so much more motivation in the morning! I get it done earlier that way. Random ?- do you do most of your chalkboard art yourself? I love it!
I do the same with my laundry! I put my baby to bed, turn on the washing machine, and before I go to bed I put the wash in the dryer. So the clothes are clean in the morning

I was just cleaning my kitchen yesterday, missing my “kids” cabinet. Now sippy cups are travel mugs. 😔 I love the scripture idea. My kids are HS and we do a devo everyday. They went through Awana which is so much!! When they were little we would read a while and then worship for a couple songs before bed. I think it made a big difference in who they are now. Littles love engaging. You seem to be amazing AT EVERYTHING!! Love that you are so in love with life!! 💖

When Tyson was a toddler, we worked on one scripture every two weeks to memorize. We did really simple verses and I made up small hand motions to go with them to help him remember. He still remembers them now as 6 year old.

Hi Amy, this was a great video! How often do you do this speed cleaning routine? Do you have a cleaning list/schedule? You are incredibly focused for having littles in the house! How do you keep them entertained while you clean and get through your daily tasks? Your house is always inviting and immaculate! Each room is so thoughtful decorated! Also, where did you get the transportation bedding and the gray throw pillows with buttons? The IKEA bedding is so beautiful! I laughed at your sippy cup comment. My husband washes dishes on rare occasions, but he never ever washed the sippy cups! It was always so frustrating! Love your comment about your kids being your number one priority when they get home from school! Sometimes I feel so distracted or fatigued. I also want to add reading the Bible to my daily habits and wonder how you go about reading some of the darker passages with your young children. I find myself skipping some of the darker themes.
Pretty sure I watched this about four times in between putting away groceries and making my kids lunch. You are my favorite when it comes to motivation

I love the bright light but hate the dust I see too haha booo!!! My laundry day is Sunday morning and it gets 100% completely done. It's about 5 or 6 loads total. But it gets all done for a fresh new week. I dread the folding but I also air dry our shirts we wear so that helps.

Hey Amy, I would have to say that I do everything in the morning! Wash, dry fold & put away. When I'm washing I have several loads, so I fold the clothes to put the other load in to dry. I’ve really gotten pretty good at taking the clothes from the washer to the dryer, and then from the dryer to my couch or bed to fold and put away. We have the same bedding, which we bought at IKEA while we lived in France. Did you know that a lot of countries have different standard size pillows? At least Norway, Germany, France and the US. Your pillow cases are rectangle, ours are square 😍

We did not - it was actually built in 1999! We gave the kitchen a face lift and painted. But yay! We are on the west side. Love it because we’re close to the city but doesn’t feel like we’re in the city. 😊
I usually do my laundry all at once and put them away right after. If I don’t, then I feel like my day isn’t completed. Lol that’s just me. But... it drains the hell out of me by the end on the day. Cleanup, laundry, cook, and cleanup. In between those times, I usually play with my baby.

I love the natural light so I don’t keep them up all the time
I usually do my laundry all at once and put them away right after. If I don’t, then I feel like my day isn’t completed. Lol that’s just me. But... it drains the hell out of me by the end on the day. Cleanup, laundry, cook, and cleanup. In between those times, I usually play with my baby.
