► James Bond executive producer Barbara Broccoli has said the royal family and Bond are "two great British traditions" during a visit by the Prince of Wales to the film franchise's set at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire.
She told the Press Association: "This is our 25th film in the series. It's almost 60 years making Bond films in Britain - a British tradition, two great British traditions. The Prince of Wales has been here in the past yes, so we are just very happy he is back."
On the upcoming film, she added: "It's fantastic. We are so excited. We have a terrific film in store."

@FiftyCaliberTV sounded to me like it was a scratch built new car for filming, they're not going to cut up 2 or 3 db5 for every bond film, they'd never make any money, they're worth more than life itself these days.
Politeness and class, Charles speaks to the first people presented with respect and interest before meeting Daniel Craig, they then move onto a bromance all around Bond.
yea he gets alot of bad press over the decades since Diana's death... but i suspect Charles is a pretty mellow chap, these days at least.
I'm very impressed at the way Prince Charles makes everyone feeling special, looking naturally at the person he's talking to and at the next in line, to make sure that the transition goes smoothly... he doesn't look bored for one second.. Bravo!!

Ian Flemming was Scottish who wrote the books and he states in the book 'You only live Twice' that Bond's father is Scottish and his Mum is Swiss, born in Switzerland, which makes him a British Scot on his Fathers side. It's also why he goes to Scotland in Skyfall and visits his parent's graves.

Similarly to recognitions in the US like Presidential Medal of Freedom, Arts, among many other categories, Kennedy Center honors, some artful, some in other "what-matters-in-the-real-world disciplines." That does not make them stand out, but what makes one person with money stand out from other people with money), but standing out with the best contributions in their respective fields - including acting and filmmaking. Craig is definitely the second best Bond ever, and that's only because Connery made the early classic ones. His tenure has been an absolute miracle. Just look at him. The guy is James Bond. He is the only actor I can imagine in every novel and movie. I can imagine him in the 60s fighting Goldfinger, Rosa Klebb, in the 70s in the campier Moore ones.

I still love Dalton also, but I know he hates the fact he played the part now, which is a shame, as he was the most like Bond in the Books until Craig. The public didn't like him in the main, but even as a kid, I preferred him.

Ian Fleming would be proud to witness how far his efforts on positioning his Bond novels are now with the film industry. I love how they had the Aston Martin V8 Vantage from ‘The Living Daylights’ for Prince Charles. In 1986, during production of TLD Charles toured Pinewood Studios with Princess Diana, and they were escorted around the set by, then Bond, Timothy Dalton.
So having the Vantage here now for the Prince of Wales, was a full circle moment that was really touching to see.
The Prince showed a lot of class meeting and shaking hands with people who work behind the scenes. It must have been a great honor for everyone.
That V8 Vantage is absolutely stunning, looks superb in that colour!

Thank you for posting this great behind the scenes with Prince Charles ! This gentleman is brilliant at interacting with people no matter what the setting while also not looking over someone’s shoulder for the ‘better person to interact with’ like so many other public figures. He gives each crew member undivided attention and actually makes an effort to discuss their role in the production. It really is enjoyable to see this detail of one of Prince Charles’ visits vs. the quick one minute synopses we usually see on our news channels.
