  • Joe and Brittney talk about their decision to move to Mexico at a young age. They talk about their decision making process. One wanted to move to Mexico immediately and one needed more time. Who do you think needed more time? Moving to Mexico as a couple.

    I really love this honest review. I came to Mexico for the first time at 20, and fell in love with beautiful Acapulco. The earthquakes were the deal breakers. I moved at 79 to Queretaro, and I love this safe, less expensive , cool and clean city.
    I do speak Spanish as a second language since age 14. I did visit Laredo, Monterrey, San Louis, Potosi, Cuenavaca, Taxco, and Acapulco.
    I order from La Comer store for home delivery. I went to Cuajinicuilapa, Guerrero..
    I cook my own food, but I did like takeout from Pollo Feliz, Taco La Pata, and grilled Red Snapper in Queretaro from el Serrento. I did not like KFC here. I miss the morro paletas from Acapulco..

      acajudi100, thank you so much for sharing your experience in Mexico. Queretaro is a beautiful place. I am inspired by your comment and I think your story is an inspiration for older people to relocate to Mexico. To do what you did at 79 tells me that you have confidence and a sense of adventure. I love it. -Marc

    Good video. 19:04 - Are you saying that for example if you live on $1000 per month in the US, then the equivalent in Mexico would be 35% of $1000 = $350 / month?

    • @TheTwoTravelersInMexico
      @TheTwoTravelersInMexico  Год назад

      Hi BeFree. We have a friend who did pretty much exactly that. He found a small studio apartment with a shared kitchen for 250 USD all utilities included including internet. He walked everywhere and ate street food from carts near his house. It's not a lifestyle that's going to enable you to much traveling. Your income will need to be much higher then that if you're trying to get residency here. If you are savvy and frugal enough to live in 1,000 a month in the US. then you can do it for 350 a month here. Thanks for watching and the great question. -Marc

    I don't mine people moving in to México but when they work remote fron the States and pay taxes there mexican people begin to be push out from this nice areas because they no longer can afford the fost of living.
    I am from Merida, Mex and want to move back to be with my family and the prices are starting to go very expensive. ( I live in England)
