  • Madalas sabihin na kapag nagpunta ng Canada, maguumpisa ka muli mula sa ibaba. Ibig sabihin, "mababang" uri ng trabaho.
It may be case for many, but definitely not for all.
In this episode, let's listen to how couple who entered through the student pathway managed to secure jobs that's very similar to what they did in Manila.

Thank you for making this vlog, ang inspiring! ❤️ pero hindi sila “SWERTE lang. They alloted time and efforts sa pag research at pagplano kung san silang place magsesettle at magtatrabaho sa Canada. Wala silang sinayang na panahon (quarantine days) para maging productive, thats why when the opportunity came, they are ready to grab it. ❤️

Thank you for the feature Ina! We just turned 2 years here in Canada today. Though we are still far from our goals, we are happy to say we are doing ok. Kaya naman here in Canada na 1 job lang and my wife just doing part time work whenever her schedule allows as a student. I hope this inspires everyone who is planning to go to Canada that you can get to the job you are doing in the Philippines. :)

wow another quality content Ina, maraming salamat for featuring experiences ng mga talagang palaban at hindi patitibag na mga Pilipino..
nagugulat yung mga “nagkaugat” na sa Canada mas lamang quality of life ng mga fresh of the boat.. is it ignorance is bliss or the next generation is highly competitive?
kahit anong balik sa nega vibes na scam ang Canada, it’s just noise for them, ang galing they created their own reality to their very own advantage.
dapat ganyan ang mindset mamili ng trabaho, targetin ang sahod (at the end of the day bakit ka ba nagtatrabaho diba), kaya naman nag open ang Canada dahil expiry na mga workers nila.. either si Kabayan or si Pana ang papalit sa mga tinatrabaho o kumpanya ng mga puti.

I was a lawyer in the Philippines and practiced for 17 years before coming to Canada. That was way back 2009, but even then, Canadian experience is required before you can be hired by any Canadian employer. We were doing well in the Philippines but we decided to move because of the kids. After 2 months in Metro Vancouver, I was able to land a job as as assistant at a Vancouver based company which later turned out to be a paralegal job. I opted to not pursue studying being a lawyer here because I don't want to deal with stress that goes with it. You can just imagine the stress of being a lawyer in the Philippines. Until now I'm still with the same company and looking forward to retirement. My kids are working now doing the things they like to do. The good thing is they are helping with the mortgage 😄

I can only imagine the stress of working as a lawyer, in a very slow (and many would say very poor) justice system.

Meron sila kasing support pagdating palang dun kc may tinirhan na libre, tumira sa parents, pakain until naghanap ng work and maski working na. Laking help yun no rent to pay and food/groceries to buy, no utilities to pay. Tapos you need extra to expend ibayad on an agency who will glaze the CV. Bakit kung easy job upto now part-time yung girl tapos dala-dalawa pa? Upto now renting bakit inde naka-buy ng house? Kasi sobra high cost of living, one - the real estate got so high kaya bukod ss kulang rented homes inde makaya rent cost. Marami ng homeless or umaalis ng Canada na di lang Pinoy, from other EU countries, pati mismong puti na Canadian citizens. umaalis. Car - hinndi cash yan, utang pa rin. Sa lahat ng bagay dun may tax na inde one time kundi regular kasama sa bills like house tax, rent tax, car tax, electricity tax, internet tax, cellphone tax, bank account tax, etc. kulang na lang pati paghinga mo ng yelo me tax.

I can say something regarding taxes payment to govt outside Philippines like Canada USA and Europe it is still a big profit at the end when you reach 62 to 65 because your retirement is bigger meaning if you have two jobs you easily put in more money in your retirement or SSS because that is automatically deducted so it doesnt mean you are deducted by govt for nothing at the end you can relax at 621/2 or 65 plus health aspect no need to put out money from pocket
