Internationally acclaimed Norwegian-born singer Sissel performed "Slow Down," by Chuck Girard and arranged by Sam Cardon, during the 2019 Pioneer Day Concert with The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square. This was a stand-out moment in the concert that brought on many tears and a standing ovation each night. Sissel expresses emotion and meaning through lyrics and music like no other.

I started listening to her late 2020 I don’t know where she was before then but she has one nice voice and she has a lot of class probably one of the classiest singers I have ever saw
This was a small moment of history for the Temple Square. There had not been a mid-concert standing ovation before. It was also notable personally for Sissel. At 50 she could still put down hot-spot performances. And she has done so many throughout her 4 decades of performing. What's lovely here is that she doesn't know what effect she has had on her audience.
I dont know if you are religious, I am not, but I have loved Sissel my hole life, and I often start my week with this song.
It's just so calming.

Kalandra a Norwegian band with a female singer who I think sounds a lot like Aurora but the music is different.
