That’s very kind for you to say, thank you!! 🙏 It’s quite an enigmatic and extravagant diptych…searching one’s own rendition is quite an adventure, and a hard work 😅(for me at least!)
I have just found and listened Richter’s performance, thank you for pointing it to me!🙏 … if you like, you might want also to listen to Friedrich Gulda, intriguing and provocative, and to Scott Ross at the harpsichord (for me always very enlightening in his approach to baroque music). Richter and these ones - among many others - are to me a sort of “sacred shamans”, like fixed stars in the sky, often far from each other, not to be copied of course, but to consider in the quest of my own understanding of the musical substance, exploring the infinite nuances and viewpoints that one can discover and express in Bach’s works… again thanks!
Deeply deeply enjoyed, brother!!! Thanks, as always, for sharing your love of music with us!
@@frankjpeter I’m too pleased if you enjoyed “my” JSB, Frank! Thanks for your words and for visiting!
One of the best rendition of this piece!!!!
Chapeau

@@mypianospacetime9977 I really love the Richter one.
And I found your idea very similar.
With an extra scent.
Really beautiful.
