In an active shooter scenario, especially in a school, youre moving towards the sound of gunfire or stimulus (people screaming/running away) with purpose. You guys spent too much time in that area in the beginning. You only systematically clear rooms and hallways when you dont have gunfire or other stimulus. Take the Nashville shooting for example, when those officers made entry, they didnt initially have a driving force or stimulus to push towards and started clearing rooms. this game is very impressive from a visual/realism perspective. a great learning experience concerning the intensity and overbearing emotion of these far too common tragedies. these devs deserve to be noticed by all those who were, in any way, impacted by the very tragic and unforgettable events that have occurred and will unfortunately continue to occur. highest praise to the brave teams that do everything in their cognitive and physical power to prevent such events and eliminate the broken, or otherwise, wastes of skin that pose a threat to the innocent and lives of children. great gameplay, commentary, and teamwork this. ♥️

Could be worse. You could be a Palestinian child. You get no bulletproof lunchboxs, or lunches for that matter. And instead of school shooters, then have armed soldiers and bombs.
Recently, I was in 6th grade when a rumor spread like wildfire through my school. An 8th grader had posted threatening messages and photos on social media, claiming they would shoot up the school. Some people thought it was fake, while others believed it was real. The rumor went around the whole school, causing widespread fear and confusion. Students were frantically texting and calling each other, trying to figure out what was going on. Some were scared, while others were skeptical. The school administration tried to calm everyone down, but it was hard to reassure students when the threat seemed so real. The next day, half of the school was absent, including Emanuel, Shelby, Braden, Xavi, Alyssa, Katie, and Lily, who were specifically named as being at risk by the 8th grader. Their parents had kept them home, fearing for their safety. The school was on high alert, with extra security guards and police officers patrolling the halls. The atmosphere was tense, with students whispering and glancing nervously at each other. But despite the fear and uncertainty, the school community came together to support each other. Students were hugging each other, offering words of encouragement, and checking in on each other's safety. The school administration worked tirelessly to investigate the threat and ensure everyone's safety. The police officers investigated all devices and schools related to the 8th grader's threats. They searched his phone, computer, and social media accounts, looking for any evidence of a planned attack. They also interviewed his friends, classmates, and teachers, trying to piece together his motives and actions. The police department worked closely with the school administration and local authorities to ensure that every possible lead was followed up on. They took the threats very seriously and did everything in their power to prevent a tragedy. Thankfully, their efforts paid off, and the 8th grader was arrested before he could carry out his plans. This is the story of the school shooting rumor at your school. It's a powerful reminder of the importance of taking threats seriously and reporting them immediately. It also shows how strong and resilient your school community is, even in the face of fear and uncertainty
So was he actually planning on shooting up the school or was he a victim of some messed up prank? You said he got arrested so I’m just curious because I have 2 friends who gotten wrongfully arrested before over a very similar situation, but the whole thing was just a rumor started by this one asshole who we strongly believe was responsible, but once my friends were cleared after being held for 48 hours and the school dismissed it as a rumor, the whole thing was dropped and nobody got blamed. Ig my group were kinda seen as like “the quiet kids”in school, but imo we weren’t even weird. We weren’t goth or edgy, or the trench coat types. We just weren’t super social. My 2 friends ended up becoming pretty depressed over the whole thing. One of them especially so. He switched to online classes for the rest of high school and ended up not having all his credits properly accounted for, and wound up “graduating” but not getting his diploma.
By graduating I mean he was unenrolled, but still didn’t get the diploma. He was only missing like half a credit but they way they did it meant he couldn’t even take one elective in the new year if he wanted to. Forced him into the ged rout. They fucked him.
The year I went to high school multiple death threats, bomb threats, shooting threats, and death notes with individuals on it surfaced. They shut down school for 2 weeks because 3 bomb threats and 2 shooting threats came up in just 2 weeks. People were freaking out. I had a friend who called me and was terrified. Nothing ended up happening but that was messed up. School shootings are just so heartbreaking.
There is a tv show called 19-2 that features a true to life school shooting scene where the cops that enter the building had no idea what they were walking into. It’s on yt in full and it’s very intense and upsetting. This map is giving me vivid flash backs to that scene but y’all had more protocol than they cops in the show had.

this video was really well-made and thought-provoking, great job on diving into such a serious topic. but honestly, i feel like focusing on school shootings in this way might desensitize viewers rather than encourage meaningful conversations. it’s tough to balance awareness and entertainment, and i wonder if this approach is actually doing more harm than good.
They completely gloss over the actual situation and get pissy because they *saw* a Pride Flag. Nobody is telling them to be gay or anything like that. This is a video about a school shooting.
It took them years to get this mission out as it was supposed to be one of the starting missions when the game came out, public backlash made it get delayed till now
No, this is a mod, completely unrelated to the devs. What you think of is the Watt Community College in the Elephant mission. That one was supposed to be a high school and got changed to a college. The map in the video is a different map, made by modders.
I graduated from high school just before active shooter drills became mandatory, but I was in Uni (University) when I first experienced one, and it was terrifying.

For everybody wondering there’s a QR code on top of his gun if you scan it it’s the rick roll like it literally sent me to Rick Astley‘s video. I’m not sure if that’s a troll by the devs or the RUclipsr himself, but that’s so funny
“So many rainbows/pride flags, look at the BLM flags. Clearly a [insert school], the real horror” I’m sorry, is THAT your MAIN FOCUS when the whole point of this game map is to simulate what’s America’s BIGGEST problem yet ?!? Fictional or not, HELLO ?!?!? SCHOOL SHOOTING EXIST ?!?!?? Claiming that you care for children and want them to stop being “brain washed” when the game/video LITERALLY shows children ACTUALLY dying and fearing for their lives… This country likes to pick things that aren’t even problems in the first place and ignore real bigger problems. Other than that, this map is scary. The devs did a very good job simulating and showcasing such an event. From the phones vibrating and ringing, from the gun still shooting, from blood splatters and yelling, honestly scary and I love how you and your friends communicate like actual policemen and guards. Ik it’s just a game but you’d be surprised how real it is, considering this shit happens irl
I like watching y'all play ready or not, you're very good and very entertaining to watch Also ready or not is such a good game it would have been a perfect game but it has one major flaw, it's strictly a first person shooter so I'll never play it, the more realistic a game is the better I am at it in real life you see more than just your hands you see your torso legs arms etc, in which a optional third person view is more realistic than first person... 🤦I am terrible at first person shooter games🎮
They really need to fix the character movement.. the way the player & AI both glide / slide across the floor than walking it’s takes you out the immersion.. the graphics are great.. but the character movement needs work
I would say that it’s warranted to go after the excessive pride and blm imagery. It feels like the devs were just as concerned with mocking the left as they were with creating a sensitive, but realistic experience
@levibroadfoot2530 yeah im 28 now. Thank you for your support. I did 3.5 years in the Marines. I was 11 or 12 when i made RUclips 17 years ago. I served 3 1/2 years till i was medically discharged. From 18 till i was 21. Been out for 7.5 years. 😩

I do not understand the people that say this it too far for a video game. What about war? Violence in general? GTA? COD? Modern Warfare? This is purely fiction using a real-life scenario. Same as every other video game ya'll play that's based off of reality even in the slightest. One is not better than the other. Millions of people lost and continue to lose their lives in wars. A war is one of the most traumatizing things, if not THE most traumatizing thing, someone could experience. No one's complaining about Call of Duty, though?

I like how some comments are focusing on the pride flags and the BLM decor instead of the fact this game is depicting the REAL issue of school shootings accurately and with care.
Those are part of the real issue...
school shootings aren't real but blm and lgbt propaganda are actually harming ppl

It took 8 years, but VOID finally gave us the Map from the Teaser.
its a mod not an official map
this game is very impressive from a visual/realism perspective. a great learning experience concerning the intensity and overbearing emotion of these far too common tragedies. these devs deserve to be noticed by all those who were, in any way, impacted by the very tragic and unforgettable events that have occurred and will unfortunately continue to occur. highest praise to the brave teams that do everything in their cognitive and physical power to prevent such events and eliminate the broken, or otherwise, wastes of skin that pose a threat to the innocent and lives of children. great gameplay, commentary, and teamwork this. ♥️
My first play through, entered the school and the suspect was there in the corridor, ended in seconds. 2nd game, he came out of the room as soon as we walked in, game over. Not had it last longer than a minute yet after a few plays
what game is it?
Dang I had actual family that lost their lives during this event.

The American child starter pack, now comes with your own bulletproof lunchbox and backpack!
Could be worse. You could be a Palestinian child. You get no bulletproof lunchboxs, or lunches for that matter. And instead of school shooters, then have armed soldiers and bombs.
Damn, Ready or Not sure is pushing the limits of what missions they can introduce without some consequences
This is a mod. There have always been modded school maps for shooters.

👍
A similar thing happened my junior year of high school
The year I went to high school multiple death threats, bomb threats, shooting threats, and death notes with individuals on it surfaced. They shut down school for 2 weeks because 3 bomb threats and 2 shooting threats came up in just 2 weeks. People were freaking out. I had a friend who called me and was terrified. Nothing ended up happening but that was messed up. School shootings are just so heartbreaking.
Here i was coming into this thinking it was ganna start off like “Remember, no third grader”
Rainbow 6 DLC is crazy
Have never seen this game before. Imagine playing in VR, with pain and recoil feedback.
This is about as real as it gets to irl footage
It's weird.. like this is made to stop school shooters.
I mean it does show what the police do to stop school shootings (except the pigs in uvalde of course hahaha)
So are they playing tactically for role play or is it actually helping them because you die after one hit?
i think the latter
Your character can eat rounds in this like crazy,
If you are wearing steel plates in this game you can be quite tanky, But AI are still very dangerous and if they catch you off guard they will destroy you.
The man dying in the hallway while the response team was still observing the situation broke my heart.
what if it was a real situation I can't imagine it T.T
this video was really well-made and thought-provoking, great job on diving into such a serious topic. but honestly, i feel like focusing on school shootings in this way might desensitize viewers rather than encourage meaningful conversations. it’s tough to balance awareness and entertainment, and i wonder if this approach is actually doing more harm than good.
Wow, we get a three second shot of an LSD painted pillar and suddenly it runs rent free in 1/3 of the comments
They completely gloss over the actual situation and get pissy because they *saw* a Pride Flag. Nobody is telling them to be gay or anything like that. This is a video about a school shooting.
LSD painted😭😭😭😭
It took them years to get this mission out as it was supposed to be one of the starting missions when the game came out, public backlash made it get delayed till now
No, this is a mod, completely unrelated to the devs. What you think of is the Watt Community College in the Elephant mission. That one was supposed to be a high school and got changed to a college. The map in the video is a different map, made by modders.
That QR code on that weapon rick rolled my ass
I graduated from high school just before active shooter drills became mandatory, but I was in Uni (University) when I first experienced one, and it was terrifying.
dude the thumbnail looked so real thank god it’s a game
yea i would hate being in this situation, especially if i messed up i feel like that guilt would always be on my mind
Decided to buy this today. I remember playing an older pc game i believe called swat. Its the same game just older.
Yes, SWAT 4 and its previous variants were the predecessor to Ready or Not.
The fact that this is even a thing is really sick
About 30 years ago people were playing with pixels, now it’s stopping school shootings 😭
Fun fact : at 0:41 there's a QR code on the lazer pointer , please scan it if u guys want to see a cool video
What is it
@ you scan ,you’ll see
I genuinely dont know how I feel about this. This is informative and important yet very dangerous.
Am I the only one who saw the thumbnail and thought it was a real vlog of a school shooter?
I was in the middle. The thumbnail looked so real but I know ready or not is a game. I thought it was ready or not but in real life and they just reenacted a shooting scene
If you train the artificial intelligence sufficiently using this simulation, the trained AI bot could be utilized in real life through a robot, and we could prevent these attacks.
seeing this thumbnail on the front page of youtube at school is crazy
3:41 just ate all that wth
For everybody wondering there’s a QR code on top of his gun if you scan it it’s the rick roll like it literally sent me to Rick Astley‘s video. I’m not sure if that’s a troll by the devs or the RUclipsr himself, but that’s so funny
besides the AI art this map looks alright
Nah, I don't really like the lighting here. Feels kinda... cartoony
@@Mr.LeoNov yeah
“So many rainbows/pride flags, look at the BLM flags. Clearly a [insert school], the real horror”
I’m sorry, is THAT your MAIN FOCUS when the whole point of this game map is to simulate what’s America’s BIGGEST problem yet ?!?
I mean its a modded map
There cant be many people who worked on it so I can see it justified
Ngl, every map me and my friends are going in in Ready or Not makes the bad guys seem like they're the ones who are there to save the day😂
The fact that this inspired a timeless tim thumbnail
You mean straight up copied without crediting me?
I like watching y'all play ready or not, you're very good and very entertaining to watch
Also ready or not is such a good game it would have been a perfect game but it has one major flaw, it's strictly a first person shooter so I'll never play it, the more realistic a game is the better I am at it in real life you see more than just your hands you see your torso legs arms etc, in which a optional third person view is more realistic than first person... 🤦I am terrible at first person shooter games🎮
Based on how this map is made, a 3rd person POV wouldn’t be feasible
They really need to fix the character movement.. the way the player & AI both glide / slide across the floor than walking it’s takes you out the immersion.. the graphics are great.. but the character movement needs work
Anyone else notice thas a Rolex on bros arm 😂
Ready or not needs to chill brah but this is actually such a good quality game I can’t resist buying it
4:12 I don’t think he is alive
this looks too realistic hopefully some media doesnt go after the creators
I would say that it’s warranted to go after the excessive pride and blm imagery. It feels like the devs were just as concerned with mocking the left as they were with creating a sensitive, but realistic experience
Too late
its not in the actual game lol its a mod so its all good it would not work for them at all

I am currently waiting for the game to download right now! I’m extremely excited!
Bro the title made me think this was real.
No one's complaining about Call of Duty, though?
there actually was alot of push back with the airport level in call of duty back in the day
I didn’t read ready or not in the title n thought it was a news reporting from a local high school
we need a vr game like this ready or not game seem like a good simulator to either help people understand what police officers or swat teams have to deal with
i love the realisticness of this game

Try doing this stage as a solo officer entry. Definitely will get the heart pumping! I know it probably won't, but I really wish this game would come to console.
